I had my 2004 for 10 years. Great car and performance. At 6'2" the C5 provides me with comfort which its predecessors do not. Only issues have been the ignition switch a common problem which I changed out fairly easily, and the climate control lighting which I fixed by resoldering the board.

My dream car. I purchased my first in 05 and drove it to 120k miles and she was still going strong but had to sell her and get a more client friendly ride. Fast forward to today, I bought my second 04 with less than 10k miles on it. Spent a little money on paint correction and ceramic coating, on bringing the motor back up to speed with new fuel injectors and plugs and wires and she drives like a dream and looks better than off the showroom floor. This is my favorite body style ever and if you're looking for a sporty ride with get up and go along with handling and a classy look that demands attention look no further.

I'd been looking for this car for a while and came across two at different dealerships in my area, unfortunately they sold really fast. So, I started my search online and although I was a bit skittish of buying a car online without seeing or driving it first, I couldn't be happier with the car, the process, and most of all the salesman, Mitchell Macaluso. The 1963-1967 Corvette Sting Ray, known as the C2, is one of the most loved American cars ever. The classic body style is more than 50 years old, yet it looks like something that could come out next year. The back end of the vehicle is designed after the stingray marine animal. Over the 5 year run of the Sting Ray body style, there were many engine options available. The car was available as a coupe or convertible and in a departure from usual production runs, the coupes were actually more rare. The cars were fast, stylish and handled exceptionally well for the time. I was fortunate enough to buy one more than 30 years ago and I still own it today.

Overall, Vandergriff Chevrolet service dept. did an excellent job on my repair. With an extended warranty, the repairs cost nothing. But if I do critique anything, is the trying to get me to spend $1,200 in new battery cables. There was nothing wrong with them.

I bought my 2007 Convertible Z51 3LT in October of 2024. It had 118,000 and now has just over 125,000 miles. This car was someone’s toy as it has a cold air Vararam intake and long tube headers, and has been very well cared for as well. It still looks and drives like new, not bad for an 18 year old car. My only knock on the car is the interior is a lot of plastic and kind of blah. The Center stack is right out of the GM parts bin, nothing special. Raising and lowering the top is as simple as releasing the center handle and pushing a button for up or down. Only the 3 LT does that little trick, the rest are manual. Performance wise, stock it was 5 HP shy of a C5 Z06, mine is making 505 at the wheels very similar to a C6 Z06. When you stomp that loud pedal you better be focused and right with Jesus. I kinda got in trouble when I bought it, my wife as not as excited as I was until we had our first date in the car, she forgave me and I bought her a convertible Mustang a month later.

I got my 2007 C-6, in Atomic Orange, in 2020. I found out about it from my sister’s youngest son’s girlfriend, who also was my oldest grandson’s pre-school teacher. Her mom was the executor of her cousin’s estate and had moved the car from her cousin’s home to her farm. Yes, it was actually sitting in a barn with a dead battery and covered in dust and pigeon droppings. The interior looked brand new. This was because after putting a new battery in, I saw that this 13 year old beast had only 6300 miles on it! The owner, who had passed away in 2018, had traded her 1992 C-4 in on the ‘07, drove it a few times and parked it because having double the HP scared her to drive it. Long story short, I saw it, drove it, fell in love with it and got it for a song! Took it home and immediately gave it a bath, using a foam cannon and microfiber mitt of course. Four years later, I’ve put another 7K miles on it and I have no plans of parting with it anytime soon! The only drawback is the interior, which is pretty much the cheapest looking interior styling that resembles an old Chevette. Chevy gave the C-7 a complete overhaul of the interior design in 2014. However, the outside looks great, the handling is superb and the 6.0 LS-2 has gobs of HP and torque. Awesome find after being retired for a couple years and living the dream!
