I bought a first year C8. Everyone warned me of failures. I replied it’s a Chevy, created with a lot of pride in Bowling Green KY USA. Worst case scenario it had and has GM extended warranty. To date with 27,000 miles only had problems with the front bumper, it had to be repainted three times. Did Museum delivery. We drove to Pahrump, did the school. Then drove Rte. 66 to Missouri then the Tail of the Dragon then home. It looks just as beautiful today as when we first saw it. To me I think the E-Ray is the best of all. Great horsepower, acceleration and gas mileage and no gas guzzler tax.

C2 styling is one of the best that Chevy ever produced. This car will continue to go up in value every year, better than money in the bank. While being over 50 years old, I've never had any issues with this car, always starts right up, run great. Never overheats as I added electric cooling fans in addition to the mechanical cooling fan.

2024 Stingray Z51 Convertible. Great buying experience and no issues in 7 months and 5K miles. Great features and and runs great with better than expected fuel mileage. Just a couple Cons - Run flat summer tires are somewhat noisy and not offered with adaptive cruise.

Saw a 2017 Grand Sport Collector Edition 5 years ago and had been searching all over Creation for one since. In October last year I finally found a GSCE convertible in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and raced down to grab it. Traded in my 2016 'Laguna Red/ Kalahari top 'vette which I loved ...but like girlfriends - you can't keep them all. My GSCE is absolutely TERRIFIC!

The overall experience was nice. The sales associate was nice. But when I got home and lifted the hood. I realized I immediately needed new filters, new oil. Top of the antifreeze the windshield wiper fluid was empty. Everything was good until then. Then I was just irritated and realized I was going to be paying a few hundred dollars to get everything up to par.

Having had many “sports” cars, I never appreciated corvettes as I do now. The overall experience has been a “10” reliability and response are excellent. I opted out if a c8 for the c7 and was not disappointed It is pure corvette, no mid engine , rear wheel drive . A real American experience, I luv it !!

Took my car to Ziegler Maseratti in Schaumburg multiple times! They had my car for a total of two months! Same problem persisted even though I told them what to look at! Took it to Glenview ONCE ...they had it properly diagnosed the next day! Parts took forever but that's the european exotics experience lol. Gary in service is awesome to work with! Would HIGHLY recommend you stay away from Ziegler Masi and would HIGHLY recommend you use Glenview!

I currently own 11 cars. In addition to my C8, 2 C5 Vettes, 2 Porsches, 3 Miata’s & a few utilitarian cars. I race a Z06 Vette, a Miata & a Porsche. I bought the C8 to track it. Have not yet tracked it. The major options I got are: convertible, Z51 package, front lift, front camera. I love the front lift. Thanks to front lift & front camera so far no scrapes. Picked car up Aug 31, 2022. Have 10,600 miles. Recently drove to Sebring for 12hr Rolex. Put 2700 miles on the drive. Driving 13 hrs at a stretch, car is very comfortable to sit in for 13hrs. Handles beautifully with ample power to accelerate seamlessly to maneuver through highway traffic. I’m in my mid 70’s so getting in/out of this car is not exactly graceful. I’ve had sports cars since my British cars in the 60’s & getting in/out was not graceful back then either. Car is a dream to drive & styling makes it beautiful to look at it. Some people complain about poor visibility & blindspots. My response is there are no blindspots if you set mirrors correctly. Unfortunately, most people do not set mirrors properly. This car’s interior is very tight. It’s a drivers car. There’s no extra interior space. My wife will not ride in this car for any length of time because of the lack of space. She’s accustomed to driving/riding in sports cars. In addition to an SUV & a sedan her other drivers are a Porshe & Miata. Overall it’s a great car.

Well, there may have been some poor experiences for some, but my experience was exceptional. Alan answered all my questions prior to flying out from PA to IL. Even picked me up at the airport. The pictures provided matched up exactly with the car when I viewed in person. There were a couple of niggles with the car and Alan graciously offered to take care of them. Found Alan to be candid, gracious, helpful and honest. Office support, Brittni had more patience than I might have when talking with PNC for funding verification. I would recommend Illinois Motors and the whole process with no reservations.

I worked with Regis on a 2000 Corvette and can say it was the easiest buying experience. I’d asked to have the front fender alignment looked at and he had it fixed along with a missing trim piece. I've owned many high performance cars--BMWs, Jaguars, Mercedes, including previous Corvettes, and driven many others. My 2024 Hard Top Convertible C8 Z51 with 3LT trim outdoes them all... in looks, performance, luxury and reliability. This car is stunning inside and out. The exterior design still looks like a Corvette, but with stunning and cutting edge mid-engine styling. The handling and shifting are sublime and, in fact, the C8's eight speed DCT is the exact same one found in the $260K Maserati MC20 Cielo... even the C8's hard top was designed by the same German company that made the Maserati's top... all the way down to the little adjustable rear window. Finally, let's not forget the LT2 engine that is pure sweetness, proven and reliable. Step inside and you'll find the C8's interior is both functional and ultra luxurious, with advanced styling that goes beyond most sports cars... from the impeccable leather stitching and full aluminum paddles to the amazing looking floating dash and the slim, almost invisible air vents. The glove compartment and console don't need locks because they lock automatically when you get out of the car. Every possible driver need has been considered, from side view mirrors that lower when the car is in reverse so that you can see the curb when parking.... in addition to the mirrors folding inward--either automatically programmed or with the touch or a button that's conveniently located on the armrest. Settle your hands on the not completely round, but curvy, leather laden steering wheel, and you're given a unique treat of design meant to work for optimal human use. For example, the MC20 Maserati has no button for raising or lowering the hardtop; users must go through the computer screen interface to raise or lower the top. But the C8 has a dedicated button--push it down to open the top; pull it up to bring the top down. Simple. Intuitive. Easy. The C8's entire interface its like that.... there are intuitive buttons for many features-- such as raising and lowering the front lift, windows and climate controls. Speaking of the front fit, the C8's front lift function can remember 1000 locations and is operated with--you guessed it--a single button. Interestingly, the C8 raises the front end 143mm compared to slightly over 50mm for the MC20. Finally, the C8's computer screen interface is blazingly fast and easy to understand and use. It wirelessly hooks you up with Android and Apple Car play the instant you turn on the vehicle. You can change modes in a flash, and the heads up display changes with the models as well. In short, the C8 Z51 is a dream car. You could get other C8 variants, and they will also be amazing. But for daily driving, getting on the track with durability, speed and handling, the C8 Z51 might be the sweet spot. Anyone who owns or drives one is fortunate indeed.

Great experience. I've been looking for an X5 with a particular set of options and finally found one at iCars' showroom. I've owned this car since New and never had one issue. The C7 body style and tech is he best. Z51 2LT mag ride power exhuast 2 tops ceramic coat. Looks brand new. The compliments never end.

I went to Zeigler only for oiland filter change, rotation tires and inspection and they took 2 hours 15 minutes, I missed an appointment in other place because of this. The was ready and they took long time to give the papers.

This is my 3rd Corvette, and by far the best one (I had a C5, and a C6, before). This car is amazing, great looking (Better than the new one, I think), great performance, very comfortable, even on long trips, gets 29 MPG on the hwy, and is very reliable (The starter went). I get looks, high fives and thumbs up wherever I go. I drive it daily, with a smile on my face, always. Truly a car to be proud of.

very nice car would recommend if you respect the power and above all the safety of others on the highway. ride is comfortable but remember this is a performance car you will feel the power of this vehicle with the acceleration and torque, suspension is little rough but the tires are wide which can cause this.
