Update from Vette Guy of Tucson, Az. I received my replacement Z-06 convertible almost exactly 2 months from the date I ordered it. It arrived exactly as ordered: Mist Red with Natural interior, Z07 Handling Package, Visible Carbon Fiber Big Aero Package, Carbon Fiber Wheels and Racing Seats. I have 800 miles on the car, so far no problems. I plan on racing the car in the September Silver State Challenge Ely, Nv. open road race. I raced the 2023 Z06 there in May, great race try it! I'm also attending the Z06 driving school in Pahrump,Nv. I did the Z51 school last year, highly recommended! Overall a big Thumbs up to Watson Chevrolet for keeping their word on getting me a replacement Z-06!

THE ENGINE WAS QUIET,SMOOTH,AND RESPONSIVE. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED SMOOTHLY. THE BRAKES AND STEERING PERFORMED WELL WITH NO NOISE OR VIBRATION. OVER ALL ROAD SURFACES VEHICLE WAS QUIET AND RATTLE FREE. THERE ARE NO APPARENT MECHANICAL ISSUES.

2024 Stingray Z51 Convertible. Great buying experience and no issues in 7 months and 5K miles. Great features and and runs great with better than expected fuel mileage. Just a couple Cons - Run flat summer tires are somewhat noisy and not offered with adaptive cruise.

I bought a first year C8. Everyone warned me of failures. I replied it’s a Chevy, created with a lot of pride in Bowling Green KY USA. Worst case scenario it had and has GM extended warranty. To date with 27,000 miles only had problems with the front bumper, it had to be repainted three times. Did Museum delivery. We drove to Pahrump, did the school. Then drove Rte. 66 to Missouri then the Tail of the Dragon then home. It looks just as beautiful today as when we first saw it. To me I think the E-Ray is the best of all. Great horsepower, acceleration and gas mileage and no gas guzzler tax.

I currently own 11 cars. In addition to my C8, 2 C5 Vettes, 2 Porsches, 3 Miata’s & a few utilitarian cars. I race a Z06 Vette, a Miata & a Porsche. I bought the C8 to track it. Have not yet tracked it. The major options I got are: convertible, Z51 package, front lift, front camera. I love the front lift. Thanks to front lift & front camera so far no scrapes. Picked car up Aug 31, 2022. Have 10,600 miles. Recently drove to Sebring for 12hr Rolex. Put 2700 miles on the drive. Driving 13 hrs at a stretch, car is very comfortable to sit in for 13hrs. Handles beautifully with ample power to accelerate seamlessly to maneuver through highway traffic. I’m in my mid 70’s so getting in/out of this car is not exactly graceful. I’ve had sports cars since my British cars in the 60’s & getting in/out was not graceful back then either. Car is a dream to drive & styling makes it beautiful to look at it. Some people complain about poor visibility & blindspots. My response is there are no blindspots if you set mirrors correctly. Unfortunately, most people do not set mirrors properly. This car’s interior is very tight. It’s a drivers car. There’s no extra interior space. My wife will not ride in this car for any length of time because of the lack of space. She’s accustomed to driving/riding in sports cars. In addition to an SUV & a sedan her other drivers are a Porshe & Miata. Overall it’s a great car.

Chris does an outstanding job every time I visit. He is very accommodating and always aware of my needs and my time. Only place I service all my vehicles (3) and drive 30 minutes even though there are 2 Chevy dealers much closer.

I bought my 2007 Convertible Z51 3LT in October of 2024. It had 118,000 and now has just over 125,000 miles. This car was someone’s toy as it has a cold air Vararam intake and long tube headers, and has been very well cared for as well. It still looks and drives like new, not bad for an 18 year old car. My only knock on the car is the interior is a lot of plastic and kind of blah. The Center stack is right out of the GM parts bin, nothing special. Raising and lowering the top is as simple as releasing the center handle and pushing a button for up or down. Only the 3 LT does that little trick, the rest are manual. Performance wise, stock it was 5 HP shy of a C5 Z06, mine is making 505 at the wheels very similar to a C6 Z06. When you stomp that loud pedal you better be focused and right with Jesus. I kinda got in trouble when I bought it, my wife as not as excited as I was until we had our first date in the car, she forgave me and I bought her a convertible Mustang a month later.

Well, there may have been some poor experiences for some, but my experience was exceptional. Alan answered all my questions prior to flying out from PA to IL. Even picked me up at the airport. The pictures provided matched up exactly with the car when I viewed in person. There were a couple of niggles with the car and Alan graciously offered to take care of them. Found Alan to be candid, gracious, helpful and honest. Office support, Brittni had more patience than I might have when talking with PNC for funding verification. My 2024 Hard Top Convertible C8 Z51 with 3LT trim outdoes them all... in looks, performance, luxury and reliability. This car is stunning inside and out. The exterior design still looks like a Corvette, but with stunning and cutting edge mid-engine styling. The handling and shifting are sublime and, in fact, the C8's eight speed DCT is the exact same one found in the $260K Maserati MC20 Cielo... even the C8's hard top was designed by the same German company that made the Maserati's top... all the way down to the little adjustable rear window. Finally, let's not forget the LT2 engine that is pure sweetness, proven and reliable. Step inside and you'll find the C8's interior is both functional and ultra luxurious, with advanced styling that goes beyond most sports cars... from the impeccable leather stitching and full aluminum paddles to the amazing looking floating dash and the slim, almost invisible air vents. The glove compartment and console don't need locks because they lock automatically when you get out of the car. Every possible driver need has been considered, from side view mirrors that lower when the car is in reverse so that you can see the curb when parking.... in addition to the mirrors folding inward--either automatically programmed or with the touch or a button that's conveniently located on the armrest. Settle your hands on the not completely round, but curvy, leather laden steering wheel, and you're given a unique treat of design meant to work for optimal human use. Press the heated steering button and the wheel warms up exactly where you place your hands, above or below the spokes. Most sports cars are known for their nefarious blind spots... but with the digital rear view mirror and blind-spot monitoring in the 2024, this issue is all but eliminated and makes this a very safe car on the road. Add in mag ride control, and it's a magic carpet grand tourer that soaks up the road like a large sedan. But the moment you press the Z Mode (there are 4 built-in modes, plus 2 customizable) the aggressive nature of the nearly 500 hp beast jolts alive. With performance traction control, fade free larger Brembos, and the electronic slip differential plus special Z51 gearing, the C8 doesn't merely drive-- it pounces and leaps like an unbridled racing thoroughbred while hugging the corners effortlessly. The interface seamlessly blends both screen and buttons for easy usability. For example, the MC20 Maserati has no button for raising or lowering the hardtop; users must go through the computer screen interface to raise or lower the top. But the C8 has a dedicated button--push it down to open the top; pull it up to bring the top down. Simple. Intuitive. Easy. The C8's entire interface its like that.... there are intuitive buttons for many features-- such as raising and lowering the front lift, windows and climate controls. In short, the C8 Z51 is a dream car. You could get other C8 variants, and they will also be amazing. But for daily driving, getting on the track with durability, speed and handling, the C8 Z51 might be the sweet spot. Anyone who owns or drives one is fortunate indeed.

I purchased a torch red 92 in October 2023 with 36,000 miles on it and have changed the tires, battery, plugs, wires, air filter, 02 sensor on driver side and it runs and drives like a dream while getting plenty of compliments. I did own a 94 12 years back but it was not as much fun as this one has been. Nothing more fun than cruising with the top down and the tunes up! If you own one with the Opti-spark, check the recall list on GM, you may be due for the updated version at GMs expense. I have replaced one on my 94 and they are a pain in the aXX to replace.

Came into Honda for an oil change and tire rotation. Tim greeted me with a smile and promptly took the keys to my vehicle and was right on time! Before I knew it, my vehicle was ready, all clean and shiney, warmed up, on this cold winter day. He even drove it right up to the exit for me, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the paperwork! No Charge! Thats is an actual supercar. I have never driven a car that makes me smile more while driving. The mid-engine and sloped front end gives it the Ferrari vibes and it constantly delivers. The interior is surprisingly luxurious and I have not had a single mechanical issue with it.

To the guy that thinks this is a death trap- are you driving a Prius? I can think of about 100 other cars that are worse than this Vette. This are no different than any other fast car. You can get killed in any car if you get hit by a Semi truck. Every small car, every cross over including full size and mid size. Yea, if have a big xxx suburban or anything like it, you may not die, but you may not walk ever again.

Having had many “sports” cars, I never appreciated corvettes as I do now. The overall experience has been a “10” reliability and response are excellent. I opted out if a c8 for the c7 and was not disappointed It is pure corvette, no mid engine , rear wheel drive . A real American experience, I luv it !!

We visited a dozen dealerships looking for the right car and right deal. Motorwerks had the inventory, reasonable pricing and the most consultative, informative salesperson we encountered. So we bought from Motorwerks.

I recently bought a 2001 C5 base automatic with 59,000 miles on it. I absolutely love this car. I’ve been using it as my daily and have put about 2,000 miles on it in about 5 months and it’s been nothing but great. Mine does have the Z51 package so it’s a little stiff and bumpy but with a sports car that what you expect. The only problems I’ve had are sometimes one of the pop up lights doesn’t go up but the good thing is there’s a hand crank for when that happens so you can put them up and the radio in mine had an issue where the lights on it would stay on and drain the battery but it is a 23 year old car so a few small electrical issues don’t surprise me. Besides that it’s been a great car so far and for anyone looking for a good, reliable, great looking sports car I don’t think there’s a better one out there especially for the money, it’s also plenty fast, I’ve recorded a 4.4 second 0-60 in mine on a non prepped road and all the mods mine has is a straight pipe muffler delete with no tips and pipes and a cold air intake so it’s pretty much stock. Overall I absolutely love this car and I hope to keep it for a long time (or until I get a C7 corvette) but I’d definitely recommend it if you can find a decent one for the money!

The cars at the volo auto museum are top notch. They have all the best cars there. If you want a high end restored car you are at the right place.

For those considering the purchase of a '74 Vette, the most important consideration is if you are actually seeking a performance car, then this is a very poor choice for you. Even though this model year was the last before the introduction of catalytic converters, street performance is abysmal at best. The base engine (and most common available) gives you 195 HP and a zero to sixty time of around 8.9 seconds. To put that into contemporary standards, that 0-60 time is identical to a base 2025 Nissan Sentra. In other words, virtually any contemporary car is absolutely going to scorch you at stoplights. If you buy an older Vette, you either have to go back in time to get sports car speed, or forward in time to at least the mid to later eighties. That's the bad news. The good news is that if you want a car with stunning, sports car styling, and a car that's a reliable street cruiser, then this is a car that should go to the top of your list. These cars are bargains today- probably because the performance is so abysmal. The interior of the car is a tight fit, and this is true especially of the narrow foot area. For many, myself included, I find this to be a positive. It fits like a very comfortable glove. I currently own one of these, and it's my second. Despite the performance I love it as a comfortable street or highway cruiser. So if you can live with the performance issues seriously consider this car.
