I purchased this truck new in December 2012. Its a 2013 Silverado 1500 4x4 Reg Cab LS with 4.8L engine. Currently 190,000 miles. Until last month, I've only performed recommended maintenance as outlined in owners manual. All maintenance performed by dealer. At 185,000 miles replaced right front hub +- $700.00. Outside of scheduled maintenance that's it for 185K miles. Paint and interior still look great! Very reliable, well built truck. Still getting 18MPG consistently for 190K miles. Very good traction offroad - which accounts for 20 percent of my driving.
Courtesy, professional and knowledgable. I was able to call that day and get in for a minor repair. I would like more reading material available.

Best vehicle ice ever owned, until...

I have had my 2008 for one week now so OnStar and membership weren't included. Came with one key. Everything went great until i started the car so my husband could move it AND IT AUTO LOCKED THE DOORS!! That's right, car running, only set of keys in the ignition and the doors were locked!! I had to wreck the visor on the driver's side and spend a half hour fishing around with a curtain rod to unlock the car!! What kind of car locks you out AFTER you've started the car with the doors unlocked?!?
My husband and I were both treated with such friendliness and respect by EVERYONE from the moment we walked on the property!! : ) Even when I made the appointment they went out of their way to make sure we were being served correctly and efficiently. I really like the appointment email confirmations. Kyle handled our entire transaction with such professionalism and kindness! We feel that he and the others really went out of their way to take care of us; and we were confident that our car repairs were being handled appropriately. He explained everything thoroughly -- and with a smile. We greatly appreciated the use of a loaner as well! We just can't say enough about our experience with Shottenkirk's in Ft. Madison so far!!! We honestly feel blown away by the kind treatment we've received -- it's hard to believe it still exists. Thank you so much!!

Early 7-17 production, serial # under 120 currently with 11K+ miles running on original computer programming. Operation has been impressive and flawless to date. Oil/filter changes only. Transmission with new clutch mechanism has a more solid feel in the lower gears like a manual tranny - likely what many might mistake as a "shudder" if gas pedal is jerked. GMs doing something right - 29-30+ mpg highway running a 310 hp V6 engine which will 0-60 in lower 6+ sec.
The sales team was great as always not high pressure to make the sell that very minute .we have bought 5 new vehicles from them over the past 10 years. They have been great to do business with.

Be Aware of Diesel Regen!

My car didn't do the auto Re-Gen and got clogged up. It cost me $350 to get it cleaned, the next day the sensor that controls the process went bad and they fixed it under warranty, but would not give me my $350 back saying it was unrelated! Really? Chevrolet can't afford to refund $350?
I just want to say what a great experience I had at Shottenkirk in Fort Madison with Keith Harris as my salesman, he was very respectful of my time and very knowledgeable of the vehicle I decided to purchase, he really went the extra mile in taking the time to show me all the new features and gadgets in my car, I really appreciated that.

Most powerful and best handling car i ever owned

I have the Z06 version 650 hp-650 torque, all that and I get 25mpg on the highway along with the exceptional styling and cool factor
Overall i am pleased with the car, it appears small from the outside compared to other crossovers but it has ample room. I dont feel cramped in it as opposed to the large sedan(Lacrosse) i was considering. Pros- It has plenty of pep when you hit the gas 252hp turbo so you are never lacking for power. Lots of tech features along with modern safety features . Collision avoidance ,Apple Car Play Etc. Stylish and sporty, AWD option and 19inch wheels. Good gas mileage. Cons- occasional issues with the accessories (bluetooth and AppleCarPlay). The startstop system can get annoying but it doesnt bother me as much as most reviews ive seen. That being said i would turn it off if i could, im not really sure it saves gas.
