2025 Ford Mustang review
I bought a Mustang GT because I was dissatisfied with my 2020 Corvette's ride and ergonomics. Also, because neither Chevrolet nor Dodge had an answer to the Mustang. The GT has great features with its touch screens, intuitive HVAC controls and other vehicle control features, The interior is comfortable. It could use power tilt-tele steering wheel. There's plenty of gauge clusters, and color schemes to keep you busy. Same for Drive modes. Braking is very good, especially the optional Brembo's. The sound system in top B&O guise is the minimal you'd expect. It doesn't measure up to Mopar. Power is good, but low end torque could be better. The exterior styling would be second to Camaro if there were one, but it keeps improving. Opt for the 20inch wheels for looks and handling. Choose the right paint, and get the 6 speed if you like manual gears. Ford, increase fuel tank size from 16 to 18.

2007 Jaguar XK review
I have two Jaguars. The first a 2001 XK8, I bought in 2015 from the original owner. The 2nd, a 2007 XK, I bought after the original owner traded it in to a dealer in Oregon. I had it shipped to me in Alabama. Both are a similar Pacific Blue, the 07 being Indigo Blue, slightly darker. The 01 has Ivory interior, the 07 has beige. The 01 has quite a bit of recurring maintenance from a host of items that needed redesigning, which was accomplished on the 07. Everything needed was done. The big differences between the two cars is trunk space and cabin space. The 07 Cabin accommodates a taller person where the trunk on the 01 would hold a VW Beetle and easily close. I redesigned the 01 upper shock mounts and rebuilt the mounts with new polyurethane bushings that should outlast me. I have replaced them with OEM 3 times since 2015. That chirping sound you hear is the shock mounts, metal to metal chirping. Anyway, the 01 XK8 is a nice automobile that needs near constant attention. The 07 XK is a Super Luxury GT sports car that is easy to maintain and so far, bulletproof. Nothing that I have driven in it's class compares equally. Everything else has a harsher ride and are regular sports cars. I have owned Corvettes, BMW's, Acura's, Mercedes and Porsche's. None compare. So far, I've had people compliment me on my Miata (the 01) and Corvette (both the 01 & the 07)... Jaguar is a brand of only a few in my location... very rare and no one knows what it is... up close, they just can't read, I guess. The guy was staring at the Jaguar emblem when he called it the best looking Miata he had ever seen. LOL!

2003 BMW Z4 review
I've owned my 2003 3.0i 6sp E85 for almost 9 years. Equipped w/ M Sport option, 18" staggered alloys and painted in a beautiful Toledo Blue. Yes the car has need some maintenance, some worn parts replaced, but nothing too surprising or extraordinary expensive aside from tires. I'm in my 60's and still do most of my own work. Love the ride, the style, 6sp manual transmission, the power, the smoothness of the car in general. Would I recommend this car? Only to those that love a car that YOU want to drive. NO AI frills to distract one. Just a pure driving experience.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
Update from Vette Guy of Tucson, Az. I received my replacement Z-06 convertible almost exactly 2 months from the date I ordered it. It arrived exactly as ordered: Mist Red with Natural interior, Z07 Handling Package, Visible Carbon Fiber Big Aero Package, Carbon Fiber Wheels and Racing Seats. I have 800 miles on the car, so far no problems. I plan on racing the car in the September Silver State Challenge Ely, Nv. open road race. I raced the 2023 Z06 there in May, great race try it! I'm also attending the Z06 driving school in Pahrump,Nv. I did the Z51 school last year, highly recommended! Overall a big Thumbs up to Watson Chevrolet for keeping their word on getting me a replacement Z-06!

2025 Ford Mustang review
I’ve owned my Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible for a while now, and it completely shatters the old stereotype that a Mustang needs a V8 to be a "real" sports car. It is the perfect platform for someone who wants open-air fun without sacrificing premium comfort, daily drivability, or cutting-edge technology. The stock EcoBoost engine is already incredibly punchy, but the platform reacts beautifully to the right modifications. Adding the Ford Performance Calibration—which ups the output to a serious 350 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque—along with a Mishimoto intercooler completely wakes the car up. To be honest, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory if Ford wasn't so worried about tuning it down just to keep it 87-octane compatible. Running it on premium fuel with this calibration gives you massive low-end torque, immediate throttle response around town, and a relentless pull on the highway. Opting for the Premium trim is a must. The interior materials are a massive step up, making the cabin feel like a high-end grand tourer. I am especially happy with the tech in this car. I absolutely love the giant digital screen layout. While some Mustang purists don't like it and prefer old-school physical gauges, I am someone who always embraces new technology. Sitting in the driver's seat makes me feel like I am in an airplane cockpit. Features like the active cruise control work excellently on longer drives. The only thing I wish Ford had included in this tech package is a Head-Up Display (HUD). Because it's a convertible, you do have to deal with open-air road noise, and while the factory B&O sound system is decent, to me it was really lacking—especially with the top down. Fortunately, the platform is incredibly rewarding if you like to customize, so I upgraded the factory audio to a custom, high-end 3-way active system while retaining the stock head unit. Now, even with the top down on the highway, the audio clarity is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a sharp, tech-forward sports car that delivers genuine performance, upscale daily comfort, and a brilliant platform for subtle, high-quality upgrades, the EcoBoost Premium Convertible is tough to beat.

2004 Ford Thunderbird review
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my 2003 Canary Yellow Ford Thunderbird!!! Believe me when I tell you that when it came to performance, style and comfort - I couldn't have made a better choice in a Roadster! 2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
December 2024 bought a 2023 Mazda Miata Grand Touring with 34,500 miles. Drove the car from South Florida to the SC coast, 10 hours. Fantastic fun drive! 6 speed manual with a soft top only weighs 2350 pounds, spirited ride, excellent power and fuel economy, 35 mpg. Good tech with blind spot monitors, cruise, power windows and locks. Push button start, heated seats and navigation just enough tech. Puts a smile on your face just looking at it, lots of compliments and you are just happy driving this magnificent, magical machine!! Just love it! 🥰

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. 2006 BMW 650 review
Bought mine in sept 2019, my summer toy. Never had a real problem with it, preventive strap change and small leak at the alternator bracket gasket ( I should have done at the same time). 4$ gasket costs 650$ in work time. Fun to drive lots of performance not too hard on gas ! I still love it after 6 years. Preventive maintenance is the key .

2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I’m 6’3” and 250 lbs and fit perfectly in this little car. Very fun to drive! I always drop the top and go; very easy to put up and down while sitting in the drivers seat. Very quick and I love the standard 6 speed. The older ones I didn’t fit in. It does not fit much, but it is a lot of fun to drive and also has a premium sound system and ice cold air and CD player. I always wanted an MG when I was young. This is even better.
