Used 2005 Dodge Dakota trucks for sale near me

I have owned my 2005 Dodge Dakota 4.7 Laramie since 2012 as of writing this is in the middle of August 2025. I have had no issues with my truck. The truck runs perfect I’ve towed heavy loads many times over 500 miles. This is the best vehicle I’ve ever had. I had a 1986 Toyota pick up with a 22 R engine that blew the head gaskets twice back in 1992. I’ve had a 2016 Toyota Highlander that one was OK but the interior started cracking. I have a 2020 Kia Telluride had to replace the transmission. I’ve had a 1985 GMC blazer had to replace the engine in 1992 with less then 100,00 miles on it. Right now my truck sits on 18 inch rims 31 inch tires no suspension lift. The 2005 dakota has KO 3 all terrain 31 inch tires and has a bunch of overland equipment on it with a Ikamper tent In the interior it has no cracks or blemishes. I can tell you that this is probably the best truck I will own for the rest of my life I don’t plan to ever get rid of it like I said this is a solid truck. I love it. The truck also has over 170,000 miles on it. No transmission issues no engine issues no issues at all. i’ve also taken it out trailing in a mountains, terrain where you see Toyota Trd pros jjeeps, and everything and I get a lot of compliments on it.

I have a 2005 dakota that I purchased new. I love it. 18 years of owning it. I have had very few issues. I use for hauling and recently I have been using it for highway driving. It just works. It's nothing fancy in fact it's kind of utilitarian. But I does everything I need it to do. I do maintain it well. but I have only had minor issues. The fuel mileage is not great but it's a truck.

I've had my 05 dakota 3.7 quad cab for about a year and I have put 16000 miles on it without a problem I have found that it likes the finer fuel in life and premium gas ain't cheap!

Its a great truck, good sound system, simple interior design, a lot of room. Great for commuting or for hauling items, the only issue that I can think of is that its a bit short.

Purchasing a new Rogue Platinum through Corey was easier and he was thorough on covering the new features and setting several to get me started. Going through the financing with Justin was easy and no pressure to add extended warranties. I had several options purchasing which Michael went over all so I could make the best decision. I liked that if any question came up I could make a call to Cory and receive an answer quickly. I love driving my Rogue but still learning the many features on it. I did have previous experiences with Wyler in the service dept. on my 2010 Altima that I sold after 16 years. Do your homework before purchasing a new vehicle to know what you want and test drive. Searched high and low for a nice vehicle for months. I visited tens of car lots and God just did not see fit for me to purchase from them. Either they jacked the prices up tremendously from what the vehicle was actually worth or when you would start the car, it had several code lights on. I took my time and I found swerve auto. Listen, when I spoke with Zach over the telephone, he was very confident in his vehicles and stood behind them in a way that made me want to come and see for myself. When I arrived to his lot, not only did he have great cars, trucks and SUV’s, but the prices was reasonable asking price to pay cash for. Zach was so nice and professional! All of his vehicles were cleaned up immaculately, I was afraid that I was over budget for the suv that I really wanted. Listen, Zach made a way for me to take my dream car home and listen it’s mine!! He was so passionate about making sure that I was happy, It was unbelievable. My truck was so clean it looked as if no one even ever drove it. Miles were low and again, the price was fair. I will definitely carry swerve auto’s card and info in my glove box because if and when I ever need anything else, I wouldn’t feel comfortable going to anyone but him. Awesome!!
