Bought 2006 Ram SLT 4x4. Still own it. 246k miles. Standard maintenance, shocks, struts, power steering pump. Little rust required. Truck is more than most can expect. I wanted a truck that would last and give good service.

Got a great deal on a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 ST 4x4 truck last summer, and now very grateful to have it. I'm very blessed with the way this truck performs, both on- and off-road. This engine purrs like a kitten! Lots of ground clearance on mine and lookin' good all the time.

Great leg room with plenty of features to accommodate to the new era, despite it being 13 years old. Will do any job necessary and have no problems along the way. I have traveled long and far with my vehicle and had minimal problems with it.

I got my truck 4 years ago.it is the best truck a guy could ever ask for.the day i bout it i put a 1000 pound harly in the back , bought a 28 foot trailor had the toe package instald.hooked it up and drove the coast.not one problem still to this day love it.i want to add duel exaust any sugestions?.

I own a landscape business and there is nothing this truck can't pull. 9,000 lb dum trailer with skid steer to enclosed cargo trailer...truck does it all. Runs good and has huge gas tank so only have to fill up once a week. After owning this truck, I will never have a gas work truck again...no comparison.

Chris was great. Honest and accommodating. He stayed late to help get paperwork done and was easy, not pushy at all. Although, the check wngine light did come on during the drive home, it was expected and discussed ahead of time as they were able to work on the price with me a little. November 12th 2024, I bought my Dodge Dakota SXT 3.7 L, automatic 2x4 from the original owner, it was a commuter truck from Fredericksburg Virginia to DC I picked it up with 258,000 / Now 290k , It's been a great truck for what I need. I'd like to find a machinist and get the heads redone. The bottom end should be pretty good but I'll give it a good look through when I have the funds. Just keep up with simple maintenance especially with suspension and steering parts don't let things go too long cost more money. That has been my experience with many vehicles. NO doubt, I do like this DAK!

If your looking for a diesel in Hampton Roads this is the place. Most dealerships have one maybe two. They have a WHOLE lot full of trucks and there is no way u come out of there without finding one that fits what ur looking for. Both in price and style/model. As soon as I got there I was greeted by Jason and he gave me the run down on all the trucks there in my price range. Looked at a few, took a test drive, and was out the door within an hour as happy as can be. BONUS: my wife discovered there was an issue with the sunroof. Jason made sure it would be fixed (in writing) prior to purchasing. I also got feel that if you go there for a vehicle and find anything wrong they would do the same thing. I have always been a Chevy guy. Till my Chevy caught on fire 2000 miles from home. Needed to replace it in Texas and found this 2005 Dodge Ram quad cab Hemi. Im sure I paid too much for it but I was stuck and needed to tow my trailer cross country. The 5.7 Hemi with over 200 K pulled that trailer like it wasnt even there. What a BEAR this thing is for towing. Interior very nice and roomy. I slept in the back seat comfortably. Steering rack had been replaced at 150K so thats excellent. With 240K on it now, I have only had to do maintenance like brakes and ball joints. Only complaint Ive had is the drivers seat material is very week and falling apart. I highly recommend this Hemi Ram thats for sure.

Only problem iam having is the power steering is spraying all over my engine and can't find the leak because it's all soaked and it's a small block so ia guessing a 318 or maybe a 360 throttle body I think tiny extended cab can't sit behind it it's a shorted 4speed with granny 16 inch wheels with stock beautyrings just got it so don't no much yet it's clean want to trade for motorcycle

I love my Dakota! They can pull more than what they are rated for, the 3.9L V6 sounds great, they are tough, and it's never left me stranded, the interior is simple and comfortable, it has some cool fetures for its age like a built in engine light decoder, and Cruze control that adapts to hills, and it has never needed major engine work. The one drawback is it has poor fuel economy around 16MPG, notorious for rust, and the automatic are reportedly very flaky (idk how bad I got the 5 speed NV3500). Overall Its a great truck and can make a great first vehicle!
