Since 2014 I have purchased FOUR Fiat 500L's. The first was an Easy Model. With manual transmission. As a base model I was suprised at how much fun it was to drive. I traded it in 14 months later for a 2015. This was a lounge. In 2017 I bought another for myself and my wife has the 2015. I bought another 500L Trekking. I then traded the 2017 in. With two 500L's in the driveway I have a manual for my wife and automatic for me. These cars are functional and fun to drive. The easy model lacked navigation and Sirus and auto temp. Often joke they are so ugly but cute. If Fiat still made the 500L I'd buy another. I do not like the 500X as the rear area was reduced in size. It's not often I can't load a oddball size item in them. Each car has been dependable and easy to maintain. At 71 years old I'm not easy to please. I hope this helps. When I bought the first consumer reports did not rate the car very kind. I then sent a strongly worded letter to them. I lost respect for them.

Fiat didn't market the 500 correctly. I had a 500 Sport manual that I bought new. It is amazingly fun to drive, incredibly fuel efficient (37+ mpg at a minimum) and a ton of room when you fold the seats down. I went from a Porsche 911 turbo as my daily driver to the cinquecento (500 in Italian). The Fiat was more fun to drive basically because you could floor it everywhere and when I'd look at the speedometer I'd be going 52 mph! In the Porsche I'd be going 130. I drove it multiple times over a thousand miles in a day. Seats were comfortable, sat radio, and Beats sound system rocked. I sold it and bought an i3. Never had a problem with the Fiat. Inexpensive to maintain and the Fiat dealer was great for service. Fun to drive, utilitarian, and great gas mileage. I wish I still had it. If I had a giant garage, I would have kept it.

I took my 2025 Honda Civic Sport in for it's first oil change and ended up trading it in for a 2026 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid. I was not happy with the first car and had really wanted to by a Hybrid from the get-go. They had the car I really wanted on the showroom floor. After a lot of convincing and going back and forth we came up with a deal that I could live with and I traded in my five month old vehicle.

Only problem is check engine light which is said to be due to gas cap. I ordered new gas cap and will see if resolves problem. Otherwise have 60-day limited warranty from dealer.

One of the must fun commuter cars you can own. Good gas mileage, good acceleration and unique euro styling for less than many others in it's class.

i made a 400 mile trip to Los Angeles to buy my first Fiat 500 in 2012 before we could get then here is San Francisco...i didnt know then it would be the start of a long love affair with the cars as i ended up buying at total of 17- proof on file right here next to my desk...its nice to make a 400 mile trip on one 10 gallon tank of gas- especially these days where some of us are seeing six to seven dollar gas in california...i can only think of one issue with one of the 17- a piece weakened in the stick shift linkage on Monday and by Tuesday the Fiat dealer had the part and installed it in an hour while i baby sat the greyhound in the waiting room...last year i bought my first used one- red- for cheap at carmax with really low miles on it...so far the only thing was a jammed cd in the radio- carmax replaced the unit so now i can play my favorite inner city gospel music to local teen who hang out in front of the supermarket after school...i would ask Stellantis/FCA to bring the new fiat 500 they are selling in europe right back here to the US where it is needed and belongs...end of discussion...Bishop Tom- host of the Bishop Tom radio show....

I was looking for a car, any car, that would fit my larger folding bicycle. Many SUVs won't with out folding the rear seats (which looks tacky on a 4 door car). I located a few sedans that it actually fit in the trunk, but the selling dealer just got this Abarth for sale, and as a joke, I tried to put my large folding bike in the hatch of this teensy-tiny-sporty little 2 door sedan. OMG, it fit (with rear seats folded, but a small 2 door, looks great). I took it on a long 200 mile drive crossing 3 Blue Ridge mountain ranges, and the Abarth experience was delirious and delicious. And I'm an older fellow 9 but used to race autocrosses).

Great dealership, never felt pressure to purchase, very informative about the vehicle I was looking at, finance manger was especially informative about all the extended warranty without being pushy

It wasn’t a perfect experience, but I still give 5 stars because I truly believe Carrie in corporate and the GM of the store are stand-up people who genuinely care about making sure their customers are happy and in the right vehicle. In the end, everything worked out as it should. Carrie was extremely professional, patient, and helpful throughout the process, and the GM was equally understanding and supportive. I stand by the fact that CarMax sells reliable, well-running vehicles. Two of my children have purchased cars from them, and I recently purchased a Ford F-150 myself. Each time, the vehicles have been excellent. I’ve been very satisfied with the service I’ve received—both when selling my vehicle (fair offer) and when buying one (fair price). We bought our 2017 Fiat 500 pop almost three years ago with 27k on it. We needed a small light car to tow behind our motor home and it fit the bill. What we didn't expect, was to totally fall in love with this little reliable and efficient car. I never could have anticipated how reliable and solid this little Fiat would be. We love driving the 5 speed with a nice purring engine under it's hood. We done nothing but oil and filter changes and tire rotations for three years, of course a air filter and cabin filter as well, but that's it. I would highly recommend this amazing little car to anyone. In town we get 45-50 mpg at 35 with the Cruise on, and at 80 we get 32-40 depending on hills etc. Car has totally exceeded all our expectations and more. No worries that Fiat stands for fix it again tony, no way, on this dependable great little car. I wish Fiat sold more of thier cars here, like in Europe and South America. Go Fiat!

Originally, I was looking to get a 124 Abarth, but the package I wanted didn't work out with my budget. I got set up with my 500 Abarth, and it has far exceeded my expectations. Comfortable even for taller frames in the front, quick even from the factory, and an exhaust note that thrills throughout the rev range... definitely not a typical 4 cylinder sound due to the dual exhaust setup. The only qualms I have are with the very cheap underpinnings on the interior pieces. The armrest pins holding the top on snapped within a month, and the driver's side window mechanism shattered in the door, making it inoperable. However, fixing these things myself has been exceedingly cheap and easy. The handling of the car is honestly incredible, it feels super solid with no shimmy or wiggle through varying curves and height. The auto transmission, especially in sport or track mode, is quick to shift and keeps the engine in the turbo's powerband easily. I would have preferred a manual, but I am honestly impressed with it. I've owned the car for over a year now, and every time I get in, it's never failed to thrill.

it is a great fun car. it has been very reliable and starts right up every morning. the only thing is that i wish it was a little bigger in the back seating area. love that raspy exhaust.
