Overall everything went well. The requesting of the original owner for the vehicle keys was never done as I was never notified of a reply.
1995 Ford Bronco review
I've owned and driven about 100 vehicles over my lifetime and this is the best! I've had Chevy and Ford trucks and both are good but too hard to park and just too ungainly. This Bronco is nimble and gives me all of the things I need a truck or SUV for. The great seating position on the Highway plus snow driving and off-road capability are awesome! It looks classically cool but not "trying too hard". It's short and really easy to park. Same length as the new Honda Civic. The automatic rear window is easy and convenient. It has a real tailgate you can sit on and "tailgate" at sporting events. The back seat folds away so you can put huge cargo in the back. And its a convertible! I take the top off in the summer and I purchased an aftermarket soft top for the Texas rain. Great performance from the 325 lbs of torque 5.8 V8. Pretty quiet if you maintain the door seals and put some sound deadening material in the doors. Easy Breezy. I installed an entertainment system/backup camera and now I've got all of the functionality of a modern SUV at about 25% of the investment. It starts and goes without a fuss and maintenance or repairs are cheap. It shares most parts with the #1 selling vehicle; the F-150. The mileage is poor but "do the math". You'd have to drive a $40K SUV that gets twice the mileage for 350,000 miles to break even on fuel savings.

1995 Ford Bronco review
Honestly - when they discontinued this truck, i was saddened to hear it. But having had the chance to own one that was in decent shape and was very reliable, was a true blessing, it only downfall was the fact that it had a 32gal gas tank and only got about 14-17mpg. but if your driving something with a 5.8l v8 in it I don't think that you are thinking about MPGs much anyway. It was a little uncomfortable to drive for long periods of time, ie don't drive across country unless you plan on stopping a lot to stretchout and get moving, the interior is a little crampped but otherwise it is good. It is a great strong truck that if taken care of properly will last a really long time.

Gateway Classic Cars review
Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gateway. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. And the folder had everything I needed to register the car in my state. Wow! Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gateway again....they just operate in a different dealership style than what I'm used to, which is just fine.
