Used 2008 Ford Edge for sale near Hermiston, OR

Went looking for a vehicle. They had a decent pontiac for sale. Salvaged title. It seems to be a decent car so far. Time will tell after 30 days.

I bought my 08 ford edge sel used. I did tune up first week of ownership and regular maintenence as scheduled. Always reliable and comfortable. Only complaint is back interior. The light in the trunk was always covered as I always had stuff in trunk and back window did not open separate from trunk door like other suvs. Unfortunately after 7 years and 100000 miles plus from me I became unconscious while driving and destroyed her. She saved me though. Impressive safety in crash. Definitely would buy again

WAS PASSING BY AND A CAR I REALLY WANTED WAS LOOKING AT ME. IT WAS ON A RAINY SATURDAY, AND THE MONDAY i GOT THERE IT WAS GONE. I GO THEIR ONCE IN A WHILE AND LOOK AT THEIR CARS AND PRICES. THEY USUALLY HAVE A VAST VARIETY OF CHOICES. LIKE EVERY THING ELSE IF YOU ARE A CAR GUY, LIKE MYSELF 1 KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR. iF i HAD ANY DOUBT, THEIR IS A MECHANIC I DEAL WITH AND HE CHECK THE UNDERNEATH CAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY THING YOU CANNOT SEE. OTHER THAN THAT GREATEST SHOW IN TOWN FOR A CHEAP RIDE.

This a reasonable compact SUV. I bought it very cheap used as I just had moved to Saudi Arabia and I didn't have enough funds to buy new. Been quite reliable. There are few things that need to be looked out for: 1. Water pump: It is internal to engine so if it leaks coolant mixes with oil and can destroy engine. Sulution: Regular change of coolant tends to prevent premature failure. 2. PTU for AWD vehicles. That is another design blunder. They made it sealed but the oil inside actually boils up and destroys the unit. Solution: See YouTube videos and drain and refill yourself. 3. OSS/TSS are sensors for transmission. They fail early and need to be replaced along with solenoid. Transmission itself is solid. 4. Spark plugs and coils need to be changed at around 80-100k miles. They can fry the PCM if not done so timely.

Joe was my go-to guy at one of the lots where this vehicle I was interested in is they have four lots in Des Moines. It's always wanting to come up there and have the vehicle taken to another shop nearby and pay to have it inspected so I can find out what it needs and decide if I wanted this still purchase it with whatever it needed and that was no problem but they wanted me to fill out the credit app online and that was cool and Danny but there's no reason to pull a hard hard copy of my credit report if I'm coming up to go look at the vehicle because if there's more things that need to be done to where then I want to put into it I probably wouldn't do the deal and I'd have a hard thing on my credit report that I wouldn't be able to get taken off so other than that them telling me to go do that even though they knew I wanted to get it checked first was my only irritation. But something came up and I had to register another vehicle that I have in my personal access right now so I may have to wait a couple months before I want to go up there and do that but my job allows me to travel all over so I might get to go up there if I can this month and check out the vehicle to see if it's something that I really really want before someone else gets it so yes Joe I appreciate you working with me and look forward to consuming this business transaction soon.
