I purchased used '22 Escape SE AWD two years old, low mileage and delighted with my dealer purchase. Upon extensive research, I was aware the loss of market value, which is why I purchased used. This vehicle is produced in volume as 'low-end' entry among 22 field competitors. Yes, there are several vehicles out there higher rated, more expensive, but my research validated highest cargo storage - highest mpg, for the reasonable market price. You can benefit from this depreciation by buying used! Some complain of the transmission, or slow pickup, or passenger door side panels. I have had no issues after 20,000 miles 6/2024 and get 31.3 mpg combined which is stellar!! A great value for the used car price-not new price. I would recommend as a reasonable value, HIGH capacity SUV can accommodate 4 airport passengers full size luggage is my first Ford of 21 cars purchased. Styling is very attractive, good assortment of safety features. Rear seats slide for extended passenger or cargo capacity.

Service Advisor Haley is awesome. Attentive, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. In and out within two hours for new tires, balance, oil change, etc. Great price!

Love my 2022 SE PHEV. Purchased from Carmax. Comfortable cloth seats, rear seat legroom is great, electronics are way above average especially the iPhone connectivity. Large cargo space behind rear seat. Nice looking 18” wheels. Have only purchased two gas fill ups since Oct 2023. I really have no complaints.

I came to Honda of Fort Myers to look at a vehicle and was kindly introduce to Travis. He truly was a wonderful salesman to work with. I bought a used 2020 Ford escape hybrid titanium with 33,000 miles. I came from a 2015 X3 and I am surprised how well this car handles and feels firmly planted. I love the electric driving at slow speeds and you can hear the gas engine come on and it’s louder than my BMW, but I am still pleasantly surprised by the low level of road noise at highway speeds. Mine is Persian green, which is rare, and absolutely beautiful after I waxed it. The exterior is pretty good, considering its price range, and the interior is subpar with the hard plastic on the doors, but overall, the controls are very intuitive, easily reachable, and after I learned how to use all the options, my favorite feature is the adaptive cruise control with stop and go and lane centering. The car basically just drives itself, even in the city at low speeds. I just have to make the turns and stop at red lights and stop signs if there is no car in front of me. I also love the short stopping distances with the brakes, which feel great and confidence-inspiring, and the steering actually feels better than in my BMW, which was too light at highway speeds. Another feature that sold me was how much legroom there is in the backseat, especially the fact that you can recline the backseat a little bit and also push it a few inches back to create more legroom. There is definitely more legroom in the front and back than in my BMW, even though my BMW was a few inches longer than this car. I love the look of the RAV4 hybrid XLE and it has more cargo room, but if you check the user reviews, you’ll see that the Escape hybrid actually beats it in mpg and in my area, I would’ve paid $8k - $9k more for a similar used RAV4 so I felt like the Escape hybrid was a better value overall. I rarely buy extended warranties with cars, but I did with this one since it was such a good deal at only $4000 but it gave me seven years of extended coverage and up to 80,000 more miles, whichever comes first. Considering how tariffs will affect car part pricing and car repair bills, I thought this was a an exceptional value, just like the car itself. I’ve only had it for three weeks, but I am really enjoying driving the car and seeing how little gas it sips.

my only issue was the car was not properly cleaned/detailed. We found potato chips and trash under the seats and the seats were not cleaned of spots.

Overall ratings are awesome. Very good vehicle's!! Styling exterior design, turbo engine good gas mileage. Comfortable seats heated. Good size cargo area. Reliability, good value reputation.

I could not believe that I was able to get my deal done for my brand new 2017 Corolla. After another trip to NJ & back time for oil change, tire check and general checkup. Needed windshield wiper inserts, tire rotation, etc. Service completed in an hour, no surprises and fair price. Ready for another trip North for Christmas. Accord Hybrid has been great as is the Venice Honda team.

I have a 2013 ford escape se awd and just eclipse 213,000 miles !! Escape is still running strong! Had to do normal maintenance and enjoyed owning this car

I have a 2021 SEL. No problems thus far with 18,000 miles. The seats are the most comfy of any vehicle I’ve had. It has the fake leather ones. It’s all I need. I average 29 mpg but mostly drive in town.

Drove this 2021 escape hybrid got 40mpg and the seats were nice. The interior is not bad for the price its cheap but not fall apart cheap. On the outside it's just another white SUV the ride is a bit harsh and the 2.5 4 banger is a reiable engine. All is forgiven when the price is considered $24,000 ($21,000) after NJ EV rebate not bad for the money wireless Android Auto would have been nice though.

I bought a 2026 RAM 3500 from desoto on October 3rd and it was the best experience I have ever had. Very laid back, no pressure. I went down to take a look at the truck and it was exactly what I wanted, still no pressure to sell. I called back a few times to make sure the truck hadn't been sold and they assured me it had not. When I went down to purchase the vehicle. they had it detailed, gas tank full, and all of that but the reason I will never buy another car from anyone else is the fact that they were up front, extremely friendly. Called me a few times to give me an update. from the sales manager to the receptionist, totally friendly and respectful. I always dress down like short and t shirt when i go to shop and have walked into dealerships, they took one look and said, used cars are over that way. No such thing at Desoto. Gustavo, and Chad took extremely good, nonpressured, care of myself and family while we were there. Not to mention, they had the best price on my vehicle but a bunch, like 8000 a bunch. Dont let anyone tell you differently. if you want a no pressure top of the line car shopping experience, before you settle with the big names around you, please do yourself a favor and look at Desoto. I promise you will never be disappointed.

Bought a new 2018 escape with a 2.5L,it now has 151,000 miles,other than 3 batteries that Ford replaced for free and $2,028.00 on brakes,4 plugs,2 coil packs and some front end work it has performed outstanding,kept the oil changed with Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and have had literally NO problems,I see it easily making over 200,000 miles.

Let me share this. I just had the Best experience of my car buying life. Friendly staff great customer service and HONEST. I would send anyone there to work with them. They gave me an honest price and I did not have an omg what are these 7k in fees on my contract or a total insult like some other Sarasota County dealers with my trade which was a fully loaded 2017 with 97k on it. We agreed on a trade price on the phone and I came in and he said I can’t give you that amount we talked about I have to give you more. While I was finishing up paperwork they already put my tag on the new car and my license plate frame. The car was not detailed yet because someone was out today but they guaranteed me a detail and it will be done tomorrow after 9am. So here is my advice to you go to Plattner in Venice ask for Tony, Chris or Kevin, you will leave with a car and a smile. We will be getting another car sometime in the next year or two and guess where we are going. Plattner Venice. Ditch the other dealers who only want to deal with the ELITE and want to rob you blind. You know who they are.

Bought in 2023 used with 30k miles, after driving it for six months it had become my favorite car, it’s smooth, I avg 27mpg in town driving, 33 highway. They don’t have tons of street lighting here and I hit a curb one evening and enjoyed discovering a spare tire I could switch myself until going to tire store next day.

I purchased a new 2020 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0 AWD in early 2021. Four years and 60,000 miles later, I have little to complain about. The Negatives: Like many newer vehicles, the reliabilty has kept me guessing. The car has had trips to the dealership at 2k miles for a check engine light and rough idle, and various coolant leaks at 30k, 45k, and now 60k. I may try to schedule next years coolant leak appointment at 75k, and hope nothing else goes wrong. I am nervous for reliabilty going forward outside of the warranty. Also, the car depreciated at a painful rate. The Positives: This thing moves! The 2.0 turbo has 250hp and plenty of torque, giving it a surprisingly sporty feel in a little SUV. With highway driving, I regularly get between 35-42mpg. I have also been impressed with its towing ability. It will regularly tow up to the maximum of 3,500 lbs, including a 12' enclosed trailer full of furniture. It handles towing like a champ, while getting 14-16mpg (better than some trucks empty). Other notable positives are the interior design and function, the Fordpass app, and the driving technology (HUD, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Early version of Blue Cruise). Overall, it's a great car for the value. Perfect for a small family or dog owner, looking for something economical and versatile. You may want to get on a first name basis with the local Ford service department and have a backup vehicle.

I purchased new nine months ago. No problems. Lots of good options. Good mileage. Up to 35 mpg on highway using cruise control. Acceleration is excellent. A lot of room for a small suv. The only thing I don't like is the dial shifter. I prefer a stick. In my opinion this is an excellent all around suv. It doesn't do everything and it doesn't please everyone but show me a car that does. I would recommend it.

It’s been a great car for the past few months. The 2.0 engine has the perfect amount of power to get around and the 8 speed does a decent job. I love the exterior and interior styling. Great driving position and overall feel. My only complaint is the sometimes slow infotainment screen, especially on startup when I go to use the climate controls. Other than that I love the technology and features you can get in this car!

Bought a 2009 6 cylinder Ford Escape LTD. Bought it used with about 68,000 miles in 2013. Loved the look and handling. Extremely reliable vehicle. Did regular maintenance, oil changes, tuneups, tire rotations, replaced tires twice, high speed wheel balances done with alignment, etc. Recently had an oil pan gasket replaced. Never any major repairs, except replaced the water pump x2. Once in 2018 at 150,000 miles again in 2024 at 208,348 miles. It always ran great. It was a southern car until 4 years ago. So, did not have a rust issue. Unfortunately, a Buck came out of nowhere last week after dark and totalled my beautiful Escape. I wasn't hurt. But, the frame was damaged and it was not worth repairing with 213,000 miles on it. I am sure it would have made it to 300,000. Trying to find another. But, live in the North now and rust is a major issue. Heartbroken! I wish Ford would go back to making this style of Escape and with the 2009 reliability. I am hoping to find a 2008 thru 2012. But, need the AWD version. The FWD wasn't great traction in the rare snow we had down South. But, still managed to get me home when a freak snowstorm hit...and everyone was following my car, lol.

I’m from out of town and had some minor damage to my car. It was enough that I would not be able to return home in a week. Galloway was the closest Ford dealer so I went there in spite of the 1 star reviews on this site. I couldn’t have been happier. Had no clue where to go as they have multiple buildings. Stopped in at the first one and met a woman at the desk who was friendly and guided me where to go. The next stop they all were most accommodating and in an effort to resolve my issue in the shortest amount of time since I had no reservation sent me to their quick lane building where Mauricio came to greet me. Basically took me under his wing as he looked things over, took me to his office and gave me a quote. I had to leave my vehicle while they ordered the parts and delivered the following day. Was given a ride in their free shuttle back to where I was staying in Cape Coral. Was called the next morning around 8:30 or so that it was complete and ready for pickup. They offered to come and get me but a friend gave me a ride over. Everything went so smoothly and my contact couldn’t have been better. Thanks to all that helped which could have gone much much worse.
