Although pricey, this truck is awesome to drive . Very sharp looking and runs fast! I highly recommend ! We went from a Flex to this car and it was a seamless transition.

Update, I was quickly contacted by the GM who promised to make good on the car by either getting rid of the smell or take the car back.

I often drive to the Michigan upper pennisula in the winter. This SUV has never disappointed me. One time I was driving up to Sault Ste Marie early in the morning. The road was slippery with blowing snow. The outside air temp was MINUS 41. i was alone with hardly ever seeing another vehicle. I kept thinking "trust this vehicle" because my life literally depended on it. I had no problems. And everything was on high - the defroster, rear defrost, heated steering wheel, heated seat, radio and keeping my phone charger plugged in. And in case you wonder why I would venture out in these conditions - I was called for jury duty and made it on time !! It has also gotten me out of deep snow.

From start to finish, customer service and communication was great! Nicholas and Kyron were amazing and kept me apprised of all parts of the process.

The ford explorer is an outstanding suv. The new design in 2020 is stylish and the rear wheel drive/4 wheel drive option is state of the art. The ecoboost engines are economical and extremely powerful. Ford dealers are everywhere! Ford parts are common and easy to obtain! I looked at the competitors. Front wheel drive is not suitable for trucks in my opinion. The handling of a rear wheel drive vehicle is outstanding. I actually have a 2022 platinum with the 3.0 v6 and this 2021 base with the 2.3 4 cylinder. Happy with each!!!

First time Explorer owner, had an Expedition that I loved but it was too high for my wife, so it went to our son. The Explorer Limited is lower, but still higher than a crossover or sedan which helps my visability. Love the electronics but concerned that they will have problems later on so I purchased a dealer extended warranty (bumper to bumper) that is 10 years 125,000 additional miles for piece of mind. Car drives like a dream, is VERY comfortable, has more than enough power even with the 4cyl (used to V8's). Gas mileage even with 4WD is great (23 city and almost 29 highway) not climbing hills. We will see how it does when we go north.

Adrian was very helpful with my purchase. I drove from Burleson to the dealership in Addison. When I arrived, the VW beetle was parked out front ready for me to drive. He let my kids and I get in and do a test drive. There were a few things that I requested to be touched up on the car. But I would like to take out the time and Thank Marcus England from the upmost, for the outstanding customer service, he has been giving me for the past 2 weeks. Ticket 230312 - R Albin - This review is for the Service Department - which seems to be outstanding! My review may not be typical of their service, because it was my only visit to North Central Ford - but - there service for this visit was superb - especially when contrasted with my experience a week earlier at 5 Star Ford in Carrollton - which was terrible! North Central Ford and the Advisor, Chris Garner, were genuinely responsive, customer focused and attentive to every detail. I made an appointment to have my oil changed and the multipoint inspection for my 2011 Ford Ranger with only 73,000 miles. When I arrived they were actually waiting for me and immediately took my Ranger in for service and returned it to me within in an hour - just as they promised! Unlike 5 Star Ford, which did not meet me at the appointed time, and left me waiting for 20 minutes for a service representative to meet with me. It was like that Seinfeld Episode where Jerry is trying to explain to the rental car manager - what a reservation / appointment is! She clearly didn't know - and - neither does 5 Star Ford! They never showed - and - I left never to return! On the other hand - North Central Ford met me at the appointed time, completed the oil change and inspection and returned my Ranger in record time - because - they actually have a quick oil change service lane and actually do care about pleasing their customers! Since they're that concerned about pleasing their Service customers - I suspect that extends to their Sales Customers as well. The next time I'm in the market for a vehicle - North Central Ford will by my first call! Recommended!
