The ford explorer is an outstanding suv. The new design in 2020 is stylish and the rear wheel drive/4 wheel drive option is state of the art. The ecoboost engines are economical and extremely powerful. Ford dealers are everywhere! Ford parts are common and easy to obtain! I looked at the competitors. Front wheel drive is not suitable for trucks in my opinion. The handling of a rear wheel drive vehicle is outstanding. I actually have a 2022 platinum with the 3.0 v6 and this 2021 base with the 2.3 4 cylinder. Happy with each!!!

Good selection for our target zone - high reliability cars for teen drivers. Very laid back. There is no “pit boss” on a platform in the corner. Dan and Bill were very helpful.

Good experience, very nice handling and easy to manipulate all the features. Mine is the limited version and it is really a nice and enjoyable car. Not sure it’s the in 50 plus years of driving but it is darn close.

Angie gave great service when I was in for my service appointment. It was very busy that day, and there was a little bit of a wait. They had a shuttle that takes you anywhere you want to go while you wait. It was a great experience. Thanks Angie!!

First time Explorer owner, had an Expedition that I loved but it was too high for my wife, so it went to our son. The Explorer Limited is lower, but still higher than a crossover or sedan which helps my visability. Love the electronics but concerned that they will have problems later on so I purchased a dealer extended warranty (bumper to bumper) that is 10 years 125,000 additional miles for piece of mind. Car drives like a dream, is VERY comfortable, has more than enough power even with the 4cyl (used to V8's). Gas mileage even with 4WD is great (23 city and almost 29 highway) not climbing hills. We will see how it does when we go north.

My review on the 2021 Ford Explorer XLT model is that this is the SUV I ever owned also is my first SUV but to say that things I really like you said 360 Copilot cruise control it stops for you automatically slows down for you automatically drives for you automatically what more can you ask for it's got comfortable seats my seats are heated my steering wheel is heated I've got a moonroof that's beautiful when you open it and it's huge it's double moon also 300 horsepower keeps up with the Mustangs and the Chargers and the faster vehicles that are out there on the streets but it's also a family vehicle so I don't like to get on it too much but it will go over a hundred miles per hour easily overall I give this a 9 out of 10 and the only reason why I don't give it a 10 it's because it gives a stupid beeping noise if you walk out of the car with the keys in your pocket and it's running and it's done that to me many a times

15 out of 10 stars!!! I thought the pandemic robbed us of customer service UNTIL this week & my experience with Rusty Drewing Chevrolet. My prior car was approaching the warranty expiration mileage, so I began to look to decide what to do. Researching online, many dealers emailed/called. Evan, the best car salesman I have ever had, and I'm 70, called, listened to MY wants and needs and suggested the perfect vehicle. Understanding I was not local, I emailed pictures of the trade in car, filled out the online credit app , and Evan and Keith in finance went to work to put a deal together that I was happy with- within 24 hours I drove my new car home. Overall, I cannot say enough about this surprising experience. Evan, who is only 23, and finance guru Keith have renewed my faith that customer service still exists. These guys went above and beyond to put this deal together in MY terms and I cannot thank them enough! Congrats Rusty Brewing, you have my future car business thanks to these 2 amazing guys!

2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

Originally wanted the ST, but after losing everything in Hurricane Ida my finances were not where I needed for the ST. But I was shown the Timberline and hastily I agreed. But after a few weeks I was truly shocked at how much I actually loved this truck. I never thought a 4 cylinder could survive my hard driving style, especially since my last two cars had 400HP, but I was pleasantly surprised to feel extremely comfortable with the 300 HP eco-boost engine! When this lease is up even though my finances should be back on track, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be sticking with the Timberline!

I have been a Ford driver for very many years and have owned Mustang GTs to F-250s.I love the styling, drive, comfort and power. I'm most impressed with the comfort when towing my boat. We live half the year in Coastal North Carolina and half is SW Florida, so our boat commutes between the two. Switching from an F-150 to the Explorer I was concerned, but the Explorer handled the job without any problem.

I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

Love this vehicle!! Went from 2013 Chevy Malibu to this 2019 fully loaded Ford Explorer. Love the navigation, hands free phone, auto bright lights and Windsheild washer, remote start, sun roofs, back up camera, luggage racks, hitch andtowing capabilities, 3rd row seating and stowing, the Ford app, the Ford warranty, leather heated seats and steering wheel, and all the safety and other luxury accessories.

Mid afternoon, my battery light came on and then cycled on and off. I called W-K Ford and they were booked solid for two weeks. Never the less, I drove to their Boonville location for advice. My ABS light started cycling. I left the car running while talking to staff. Then, my car completely died. A jump pack got it started, but it died soon after. They said to leave it and they would charge the battery over night and check the alternator. The latter was the problem and they replaced it. I had asked if the battery would need to be replaced, but they said if it checked out okay, it wouldn’t. Unlike some dealers I have worked with over the years, they don’t replace parts deemed serviceable!

I recently applied for a car from thrifty auto Sales In Westfield, Massachusetts, I received a call back from Mike. He wasn't a pushy salesman. He just actually was. I still interested in a vehicle which I was I've held off for six months without a car. I took a chance and I AM totally satisfied with the service Mike kept Istrate open and honest and I walked out with a 2021 Toyota Camry. I am very pleased with them. I would recommend them to anyone. We started our search a few months ago and finally found what we were looking for. We worked with Zac to start, but once we found what we wanted Zac happened to be on vacation :) He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of - and we were WELL taken care of by Kofi. First, the dealership honored our trade in value that we were offered from prior (which was a GREAT deal) and the price on the car we purchased was fantastic (trust me, we'd been looking for awhile). The rest of the staff made sure I had everything I needed while waiting. The professionalism was top notch and employees were courteous and welcoming. I currently own a 2020 Ford Explorer XLT (used, bought with 50k miles). Before this I used to own a 2015 BMW X3 Xdrive28i. Now people reading this would be astounded to hear such a bad review for a german luxury vehicle. IT. WAS. TRASH. Sorry, BMW fanboys, but that is true. Anyways, coming back to the Explorer, it was a lot, lot better. Better mileage, Better comfort, A ton of space to even pack up to 5 large suitcases and five big boxes with only the third row down. Considerable performance and power for a massive three row SUV, compared to a “apocalypse ready, tough and rugged” Jeep Wrangler. Very sturdy car, fun to drive around. And really handy when you’re like me who decided to hit the road from Miami, FL to Cypress, TX (😁). I was worried whether evreything would fit in, but apparently there was way more space than that! Also if you are a parent with an infant, you will have NO problem fitting in a child seat. Another thing is that I use an iPhone and my wife uses a Samsung. It is compatible with both carplay and android auto. Now the best part: this is the most stylish SUV under $30k I have ever seen except for a Jeep Grand Cherowkee. My final verdict: The best, affordable, 6-7 seater SUV you can get on the auto market. And I am saying this not only from a driver-standpoint, but a parent as well. I have read other people’s reviews, and some will disagree with me. But after all, it is an automobile. Whether it be a million dollar Rolls-Royce or a Bugatti or a Ford, it is still developing. I am proud of what Ford can do. I highly recommend to those who are looking for a reliable and safe car, buy a Ford. They are incredible.

I have owned Toyota and Honda vehicles for years. I love the space and comfort of my Ford Explorer. However I'm at 68k miles and just had to have my transmission rebuilt. If I didn't love the comfort and ride of this vehicle so much, I would trade it in tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed and praying this vehicle will hold out to 200k miles.

Was able to get a 2018 Kia Soul. Love the car and was very pleased to be able to pick out the color I wanted. Only thing was that they were supposed have detailed the vehicle before I took possession and while it was cleaned they missed a half gallon container of pineapple juice on the floor of the back seat.

The vehicle meets al my family needs. The vehicle was within my budget. The vehicle was well maintained. The interior was we’ll kept. Love it !

I needed a “mom” vehicle and was treated like a princess. I got top dollar for my trade in and the dealer was very patient with me as I navigated through what I was looking for! I felt no pressure to buy. I was offered extended warranties but never any pressure to add anything. It was a whole day ordeal but they were busy. I left with a great family vehicle and I am very happy with my experience. I will use them again.

I am happy with everything about my explorer. Get good gas mileage and is very comfortable ride. Traded my 2020 for this 2022. Love the color and have gotten lots of compliments.
