These people truly went above and beyond for me these past few weeks. Cody Carter made both of my appointments to get my tires dealt with. Travis Peterson and Trenton Lincoln decided on a wonderful plan to take care of me to the fullest degree. John Lange is the one who brought up my specific issues to Travis and Trenton. Also updated me on the plan. Extra special shout out to the service guy who carried 4 tires, (two on each arm), across the street. Didn't catch his name though. 8/31/18 (on the same day a week before the 31st) Justin Jones jumped into action and changed out my tire with the donut I had on the car. Eric Swegle was my original salesman in October of 2017, saw me in the waiting room while Justin was getting my car together and asked what was going on. I assumed there would be some charge for the work but I believe Eric took care of it. These people truly do everything they can to satisfy their customers. Keep up the great work. I've experienced a problem with the leather seats (front and rear) in a 2017 Fusion platinum. Although the mileage is very low (less than 10,000) and the usage is very gentle (neither my wife nor myself are big people), the leather seats cushions panels are wrinkled. The leather has been wrinkled from the day the vehicle was delivered. John Desmond (Service Manager) has worked diligently to get this situation corrected. Initially, after asking Ford Motor Co. (FMC) to replace the seat panels under warranty, he received a corporate reply denying the claim, but suggesting that there MAY be a more "conservative: approach to resolve the problem. Taking the initiative, John arranged for all four of the existing leather seat panels to be "re-stretched" at a local upholstery shop. The "fix" worked briefly, but now two of the seat panels (left front, right rear) are again wrinkled. John has, once again, asked FMC to approve and provide new leather seat panels under warranty. FMC has refused, claiming, this time, that wrinkled leather seats are "normal" and therefore not covered by warranty. REALLY? I have never ever experienced a problem like this on any other vehicle that I've owned. Have you? Have you ever owned a vehicle with leather seats before? Did they wrinkle? I didn't think so. The Machens dealership is fortunate to have an employee like John Desmond. I truly appreciate people like John trying to do the right thing, but am sorely disappointed in FMC's bogus position on a less than quality product.

This vehicle has everything that I need, tow package, four wheel drive and is very stylish and comfortable inside. The third row seating is surprisingly roomy and I love the stowable seats.

I had been looking for a 2018 Ford Raptor for months. I live in Southern California and the prices they charge out here with mark up is ridiculous. I contacted Bradley Bartlett at Joe Machens Capital City Ford who had an 18??? in stock that was exactly what I wanted. The price was also perfect! I have never conducted an out of state purchase before so I was a little hesitant. From start to finish Brad answered every questions and made sure the process was smooth and left me feeling confident in purchasing without even seeing the truck or him. I also dealt with Matt (Finance) who also made things easy. After all was said and done, the purchase was completed and I received the truck EARLY, delivered to my house. I never had to step foot inside of a dealership. 10/10 would go through Bradley and the dealership again.

This car met my needs. It is spacious for my 3 kids and their friends, with plenty of room on the third row sit. The remote key and keyless start is very useful, specially summer time, when you can leave the car locked but running, so the AC is still cooling.

I have purchased 18 vehicles over the last 20 years. Without a doubt, Douglas Keeler gave my wife and I the best buying experience that I have ever had. He worked with our schedule, stayed at work late, showed us all the vehicles that we wanted to look at (including two that had to be transferred from Columbia) Buying a car is always stressful in some sense, but my experience at Joe Machens Capital City Ford was above and beyond the most comfortable. He isn't pushy, gives great advice, does all he can for you, truly above and beyond the call. When I purchase anything, by the time I show up I have already decided to make the purchase. You can buy car anywhere, that's how I see it, every car dealership sells the same type of vehicles. Not every dealership has the same quality of people, Doug and the staff at Capital City Ford make the difference. I know Ill be back.

engine slips at 55-60 and when it takes off.I have had this car over a year and am so tired of the skipping.Ford motor said to just drive it til they get a code to fix it..I think when you pay this much for a car and it's new it should run like one...not a very happy customer.My family has always been a ford family..

I bought a 2015 Ford Taurus here in June of 2016 with 18,000 miles on it with an extended warranty. Right now (01/12/2018) it has almost 90,000 miles on it and I had my first problem with it. I live almost 100 miles away from this dealership and needed to get the car there but every trailer and car dolly my family owns was to high off the ground for a factory ford Taurus to get on without damaging the bumper so we lifted it up onto a gooseneck trailer we own to haul it there. Which I had told Trenton about prior and he said get it here and we???ll get it off the trailer no problem. Well I got it there right before close because it was an all day adventure trying to just get it loaded on a trailer, and the guys helped me out without hesitation. And had it fixed less than a week later, (which was impressive with all the holidays going on.) So I give em a five start rating for the cluster of a mess that I had going on trying to get it there and the speed and quality of repair.

Eddie "The Green Mile" Brown made buying a used car a walk in the park. I gave him the budget I wanted to stay within, and the vehicles I was interested in and he made everything else fall into place. He approached me outside and from the moment I walked into the dealership from the moment I walked out he was not once pushy or annoyed that I was not the easiest customer. His name was on the door as "Salesperson of the Month" which, Ill admit, was intimidating at first but after spending 10 mins with him I could see exactly why. Eddie could sense that I was nervous about buying a different vehicle and he continuously reassured me that I would not leave unhappy. He was right! Thank you Eddie for the best car buying experience yet and thank you Honda of Jefferson City for taking my hunk of junk off of my hands and getting me into the perfect new (to me) vehicle. I will definitely recommend both Eddie and Honda Jeff City to all my friends and family.

I've been a customer of this dealer since 2011, when I bought my Tucson. Just yesterday (2017), I drove to Jefferson City from two hours away for a very important appointment and was stranded there (with my puppy) by a malfunction in my engine. It was a beat-the-clock moment! Their team squeezed my car into their busy day's schedule, fixed it by the time they said they would, and got me on the road back home with a great-sounding engine and a lot of pickup! In addition, they put up with my nervous pacing while they worked and were respectful and friendly throughout. It was a stressful day for me, and in addition to the great service, Lisa made me feel very much at home. I always appreciate the service I get at Jefferson City Hyundai. They take care of me.

This car has all the bells and whistles one would expect from a premium vehicle, but at a much more affordable price. The interior is sleek and accommodating, as well as comfortable. I love the double panel sunroof and the heated seats! So far it's doing decent on gas mileage for considering its size. It also doesn't feel like driving a tank, it maneuvers well and rides smoothly!

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I received a loan package via FedEx 2 days later, signed all the paperwork, and sent it back in the pre-paid FedEx envelope they provided. About 3 days later, I started getting emails to schedule delivery. The process only took 9 business days from the moment I made the deposit to the moment I got my vehicle. I am a car enthusiast! I spend way too much on cars ??? but I work 24/7 and it???s my only hobby. This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with Vroom. My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with Vroom in every aspect! I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn???t afford much, but since about 1979 I???ve purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I???ve owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I???ve become rather expert ??? AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!!! When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets. So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across Vroom.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place ??? Vroom.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we???ve been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 ??? both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars. I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. Vroom offered the highest amounts on both of our cars!! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple! And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair. I flew out from South Orange County, California to Vroom to look at and drive both cars. Vroom picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport. I was extremely impressed with Vroom and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I???ve spoken with and dealt with at Vroom has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I???m doing and to ask if there???s anything that I need. They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a ???used??? car. No other buying or trade-in experience I???ve ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh???and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars. And not only do they have their guarantee ??? I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don???t like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I???d purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!! Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about Vroom so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I???ve already asked Vroom to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than Vroom. I mentioned before that I???m a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I???d wonder is, ???Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him???..???? Well, I don???t know any of the people at Vroom. I spent so much time on this review simply because I believe that when people deserve credit, and they treat you so nicely, you should reciprocate and sing their praises. My name is Dr. Rod Kurthy. Great vehicle, very comfortable to ride in, great visibility, makes driving a pleasure again. Safety features are great without the clutter and distractions on other new vehicles. Features are very intuitive to use. One feature that it came with is the front camera, I didn't think it was necessary, but after trying it out, it really is handy to see what you can't see over the hood of the vehicle.

I was referred to Texas Direct Auto/Vroom by a good friend and I???m glad I decided to go with them for my car purchase! I initially got Billie as my car sales personnel, but she seemed to be very pushy and just aiming to make quick sale; which is something that made me very uncomfortable. After speaking with her for a while I advised I would give her a call back to speak with my financial advisor on proceeding further on this process with Vroom. When I called back I got a different agent that saw in the system that saw I was talking to Billie and advised me that she would give me a call back in 5 mins, well 30 mins passed and I called back upset because I did not hear back from her after she ran my credit and didn???t like the fact I wasn???t trying to put 2500 down. My credit score was excellent I had a 740, but I didn???t have enough credit history she said is the reason why she kept asking me to put so much money down on 23k 24k car. The last time I called upset after not hearing anything from her a gentleman by the name of Shannon Humbles answered and I advised him that I did not want to work with Billie anymore because she made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt like she didn???t personally care about helping me through the process of the purchase. Shannon is an ALLSTAR!! He went over and beyond the call of duty to help me make this purchase!!! 7 days later my vehicle sits in my parking garage and I love it! The process was so easy to purchase, I had to put 1500 which is the standard, instead of 2800 that???s Billie was demanding that I put down! Please go with Vroom! I saw a couple bad reviews and I know every process has its flaws, but I???m here to tell you, they work! They are a very good company and I look forward to making another purchase with them for my girlfriend???s Christmas gift! Thanks Shannon and Vroom!!!!

I will say that I was a bit apprehensive after reading some negative reviews; but due to the volume that this dealer ships out, I can only assume that poor experiences are a small percentage of their business practice. I visited Vroom???s website in the evening and decided to purchase my wife a Cadillac SRX. Within minutes I received a call from a sales rep. Within an hour of that initial call, he collected my $500 ???hold fee??? that was later applied to my down payment. The following day, my sales rep called to inform me that financing was secured, even with blemished credit. (Required an additional $600 down payment which I had wire transferred). 3 days later, I received my contract via FedEx, completed it, and shipped it back. Once they received and reviewed, I was sent an email with an expected delivery date. From start to finish, the entire process took 10 days, and we received a used Cadillac SRX in EXCELLENT condition. The interior was spotless. The exterior needed a wash, but it was understandable because the car was shipped from Texas to Florida. I have already recommended this service to others, and will likely use them again. *Car does come with a 60 day temp tag, and I have not heard back from Vroom about acquiring my actual registration and plate. - However, I believe that I still have a couple of weeks left on the current tag.

Vroom personnel were thoroughly professional and I received great value in my trade and new car. I took my car to the local dealer for a through inspection upon free delivery. (Vroom offers a 7 day free return policy.) The BMW service manager told me my 2015 X3 Xdrive28i was in such good shape, it would qualify as a certified per-owned on their lot. I easily could have paid $3K more for the car than I did from Vroom.

This car looks 'classy', has lots of 'bells and whistles', lots of horsepower, very 'cushy' inside. Sadly, had to say good bye to our Jeep Sahara; she was not well. We'll miss her looks, but we'll enjoy the smooth ride, and cush of our Explorer.

We sent an email Thurs morning saying we were interested in a specific car--It wasn't very long before Samuel Stovall called us... per our request, we set up an appointment for 10:30 the next morning---we got there and Sam met us at the front doors with the car we were interested in.. took a test drive and filled out the paperwork ( Sam was very helpful with the paperwork)-- Eric Highley did an awesome job getting us a great rate on our financing---we were signing the papers before noon--- had to wait just a little bit for them to finish detailing the car BUT that was okay as it was a nice day and we sat out on the patio sipping tea---when the car was ready, Sam took the time to answer all our questions and show us how everything works.... Awesome Customer Service from Sam Stovall, Eric Highley and everybody else involved in the transaction--- it went smoothly and was done in a short time--- the only way it could have been faster is IF we had filled out the financial info online ( like we did last time we bought a vehicle) and emailed it ahead of time... We are repeat buyers BUT it was 18 years ago that we bought the truck from them-- it was an awesome vehicle with no major mechanical problems- with the excellent customer service we received the 1st time, we naturally came back to Joe Machens Ford.... I also wanted to say in response to another review I read on Google, we are NOT wealthy people / "important people" NOR look wealthy--just plain old everyday folk and we received AWESOME SERVICE.... I loved the fresh popcorn and the wide variety of drinks ( raspberry tea is to die for)... the restroom were clean and well stocked.. and the huge TV and lounge area was great.. as was the patio. I recommend Explorer those looking for comfort and spacious car interior. Everything is well designed and looks luxurious all over. I purchased this two months ago and might be a little soon to review its performance but so far I am happy with what I got. I just don't recommend the dealership where I bought from : " Ford of Orange, CA" stay away from them.

We purchased our 2016 F 150 through Troy Atkisson, sales representative. Troy listened to our description of the truck we wanted, and went over and above to help us find our vehicle. Never once did he try to "up sale" us with more than we were looking for. He and his associates worked with us when negotiating prices to keep us in the Joe Machen's customer family. I had my old car for 13+ years (time flies!), so I was definitely needing a replacement. Trent Custard & Columbia Honda made it very easy for me to find a new vehicle that "fit" me just as well as my old car did. I drove a few different styles around for a couple of days each and finally settled on the 2017 CR-V. Having the chance to take the cars home with me was perfect. I was able to drive around and figure things out at my own pace and not feel like someone was looking over my shoulder while I was trying to make a decision. Even signing the paperwork was so much easier than expected! I had always anticipated a huge headache to come along with buying a new car (which was partially why I waited so long to get a new car!), but that was definitely not what I experienced working with Trent at Columbia Honda.

The fifth generation Explorer is a fantastic offering in its class. The Explorer Platinum offers features that compete with luxury brands (first row heated/cooled/massage seats, lane keep, adaptive cruise), and in 52,000 miles I haven't had an issue so far. The 4WD system handles great in the snow, and the 3.5L twin turbo V6 offers plenty of power. The second row captain's chairs can be moved forward to offer third row occupants livable legroom, and there's still plenty of cargo space behind that. It handles well, tows well and is all around the best vehicle I've owned. I would recommend this SUV over any other in its class.

On a bright and sunny Thursday evening I was on my home from work. It was about 5:30 when I hit a curb and popped my tire. A friend and her husband came to change the tire and we quickly found out that my lugnut "key" was no longer in my possession. I called Columbia Honda thinking that they had neglected to return the "key" to lugnut bag. I spoke with TJ Mitchell who is the Assistant Service Manager. He assured me that his service department did not have it since they did not use the customer's keys. They had several sets to fit a variety of models. I voiced my disappointment because I really had no idea where the key was and how I was going to get my tire changed. TJ inquired about my location and told me that he would be there in about 30 minutes (he was clear across town) with some sets to get the tire off. What?! He was coming to help? That was awesome!! He arrived some time later and attempted to find the correct "key" to remove the lugnut. My relief was short lived as he found that the sets he had couldn't unlock the lugnut. Now, what was I going to do? TJ then asked me to give him some more time. He was going to go back to the dealership and get more sets. He then asked for my keys and told me that he would get the tire changed and lock my keys in the car and it will be done in about an hour! I was floored. Here was this guy that had no reason to spend his time to fix my mistake, but he was doing it! We left and a few hours later I returned to my car and to find that not only had he changed to tire, but he had removed and replaced on the locked lugnuts. I would now have no trouble changing my tires! I purchased my car from Columbia Honda and have taken it to them for every oil change. The service department has always been helpful, kind, and informative. They inform me of areas of concern that they find and give me options on how to handle them. However, this act of service truly went above and beyond what I would ever expect. Thank you to TJ for his generous sacrifice of his time and talent.

I'm a car guy and it's important how the vehicle looks......and I really like this vehicle. It'll take me awhile to get used to all the new electronics. Once I learn everything, I think this will be my favorite vehicle I've ever owned.

So as you can imagine and may have experienced yourself, dealing with car dealerships can be quite the pain in the rear. This had happened to me on a few occasions in the past (to be clear it was with other dealers). So when the time came to start looking for a vehicle, I dreaded it. Enter Josh Larimore. I have known Josh for a while, so I decided to give him a shot. I spent a couple days looking at their inventory online, as well as a few other places, and doing research on what type of vehicle I might want. I called and told him I was coming in to look at a couple of cars on a particular day and time. When I arrived he was waiting for me with a smile and a handshake and of course greeted me by name. Unfortunately my top pick had been sold, but my second, third, and fourth were available. After test drives I settled on a car. Now for the wheeling and dealing..... right? Not so much...... at least not with Josh. Josh was a straight shooter on the deal. Hey, honestly we could had big discussions about value, and why this and why that....... or, we could _not_ do that and just get straight to it, which is exactly what we did. Here is my vehicle, which books for X, and here is your vehicle which books for X. So lets do deal X/X and get the papers signed. Yes of course the manager had to try to step in and try to haggle a bit, which I understand is his job. But Josh and I had a deal and that was the deal that I got. After all, you have one excellent sales guy, and he did a great job with me..... so let him do it. That being said, it was not at all high pressure, and the deal Josh made with me was fair and reasonable. The manager honored it, and I got it. Even the part with the finance guy was pleasant. Of course it is his job to offer the extended warranties and such, which he did quite well by offering lots of options. But what was even better than that was that I felt no pressure at all, even when i declined those warranties. He said "no problem" and finished the paperwork. Now..... the best parts...... They were able to cut my previous interest rate in half, lower my monthly payment by $450 per month, and put my in the car I wanted all within a couple of hours. Great Job guys! You will certainly have first shot of my business in the future!

I purchased a 2016 Ford Fusion. My very first brand new car I have ever owned. The whole crew was very pleasant to work with. They spent numerous hours working with me to find me the best match to get me out from being upside down on a vehicle that i was in. They took their time and looked at all options available (trade in $, cash back offers, rebate offers). What I didn't understand, they explained to me. Very professional, very respectful people. The salesman I worked with was OUTSTANDING. I wouldn't have wanted to spend my time with anyone else. I am so thankful I was blessed with him as my salesman. Very fun, very respectful, very caring. Didn't make me feel like anything was out of the question yet explained if so. Very friendly and make me feel right at home. As far as respect to customers I would highly recommend Joe Machens Ford, 1911 W Worley, Columbia, MO to anyone. Though I did not deal with all of the salesman there, the salesman I had was fantastic. The finance department was very comforting to work with as well. Thanks JMF!!!
