Used Ford Explorer for sale near Leo-Cedarville, IN

I was very impressed with salesman John Berghoff and the O’Daniel Ford Dealership in general. John is straight forward, very knowledgeable on Ford products, very Customer Focused, and great to work with! He was very attentive to my every question. I e-mailed John before ever stopping into the dealership and he quickly responded via e-mail with answers to my questions about MSRP and the A/Z plan price for the 2019 Ford Edge – Titanium with the options I wanted. I also had many questions on functionality and the Hi Tech features included in the vehicle. He offered via e-mail to bring a vehicle to my house and let me keep it overnight to try out all the features and take it for a test drive. Although I didn’t take him up on his offer, I was very impressed with his customer focus and decided to stop into the Dealership the next day. At that point John encouraged me again to take a couple of Edges for a test drive, which I did and soon fell in love with the vehicle. John also offered to negotiate with me on prices for the Ziebart Gold Plan and an Extended Warranty, items that I believe help protect my investment. I wasn’t ready to make a deal after the first trade-in value offered by O’Daniel Ford for my 2007 Lincoln MKX that day and expressed that to John, but he continued to send me info on the car and expressed his interest in earning my business in the future when I was ready to buy. Sales Manager Brent Swartz came out and introduced himself and also stated he would work with me to get the prices lower on the Ziebart Gold Plan and the Extended Warranty. I left the Dealership very impressed with O’Daniel Ford, although not yet ready to buy. A day later John Berghoff sent me info about a company called TradeRev that O’Daniel Ford collaborates with to help customers get better trade-in offers. I decided to give it a try a couple of days later and to my surprise I was offered exactly what I needed to make the deal. John got me a new F150 Ford Truck as a loaner until they could get the exact 2019 Edge I wanted from Indianapolis. After I made the deal, General Manager Mr. Jeff O’Daniel came out to John’s desk, introduced himself and thanked me for my business. I left the Dealership extremely impressed and very happy that in a few days I’d have my new 2019 Ford Edge. I can’t think of anything the staff could have done better unless they would have given me a new car for free! :) Seriously, they did everything they could to answer my questions and negotiate with me to give me what I needed to move forward with a purchase, all without making me feel pressured to buy. After years of purchasing many vehicles from another local Ford Dealership I have become a happy new customer at O’Daniel Ford and plan to take all my future purchase and service business there!

I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

Routine oil change, tire rotation and fuel system check for my new Trailblazer. I stayed at the facility during service. The team was friendly. The waiting area was nice and clean. Work was finished in a reasonable time. I am happy to bring my car here for service.

2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

The Stykemain Service department, Mr. Stover and service technician, provided excellent customer service with exceptional pricing which included new tires, brake/disc/rotors.

Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

Got a 2021 chrysler pacifica nice van 91,000 miles on it . If you buy a vehicle though when they say your first payment is such a date if you do payment by weekly or weekly make sure you make payment before the payment is do because by the date it's due they will want full payment on that date then after that it's weekly or by weekly

I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

I visited Preferred Auto on a limb on Saturday searching for a very specific GMC Acadia (I'm very picky). This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.

Harold Chevrolet! Josh, Joe, Chris, Dakota (anyone I missed) Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity. I reached out about a vehicle 3500 miles from my house. The salesman (Dakota) didn?t pressure me at all. We went back and forth for a few days and ultimately made a deal to buy the truck. $1000 BELOW Sticker! (That might not be a big deal to some but where I?m from that?s unheard of. Next step was getting it across the country. Way too nervous to put a beautiful truck I?ve paid for and never seen on the road without me. So I said I?m flying out. Without hesitation they offered to pick me up at ANY airport. We are talking Chicago, Detroit, Indy. Wow. If Jew into Chicago and was picked up at 2 in the morning by Joe and Josh. Great guys. (Josh can?t drive for xxxx. LMAO) Got to the dealer right when it opened. The truck was out front, washed and full of gas. I signed in 2 places and was out the door in 30 min. Took me 4 days to drive home. (For some reason it took 2 days to get through Vegas) This dealership is awesome. To see a local community, a group of employees that are like family really gives me hope. Sad that someone actually working for your business is so rare today. I live in California, when they list a vehicle here for $60k you drive all the way to the dealer for some shmoozy salesman to put a $25k mark up on it and then make you feel poor. ?That?s what we?re getting for em? I currently own a 2020 Ford Explorer XLT (used, bought with 50k miles). Before this I used to own a 2015 BMW X3 Xdrive28i. Now people reading this would be astounded to hear such a bad review for a german luxury vehicle. IT. WAS. TRASH. Sorry, BMW fanboys, but that is true. Anyways, coming back to the Explorer, it was a lot, lot better. Better mileage, Better comfort, A ton of space to even pack up to 5 large suitcases and five big boxes with only the third row down. Considerable performance and power for a massive three row SUV, compared to a “apocalypse ready, tough and rugged” Jeep Wrangler. Very sturdy car, fun to drive around. And really handy when you’re like me who decided to hit the road from Miami, FL to Cypress, TX (😁). I was worried whether evreything would fit in, but apparently there was way more space than that! Also if you are a parent with an infant, you will have NO problem fitting in a child seat. Another thing is that I use an iPhone and my wife uses a Samsung. It is compatible with both carplay and android auto. Now the best part: this is the most stylish SUV under $30k I have ever seen except for a Jeep Grand Cherowkee. My final verdict: The best, affordable, 6-7 seater SUV you can get on the auto market. And I am saying this not only from a driver-standpoint, but a parent as well. I have read other people’s reviews, and some will disagree with me. But after all, it is an automobile. Whether it be a million dollar Rolls-Royce or a Bugatti or a Ford, it is still developing. I am proud of what Ford can do. I highly recommend to those who are looking for a reliable and safe car, buy a Ford. They are incredible.

Buying a used 2012 VW Jetta for my Daughter's 16th birthday. Found the car on Cars.com, submitted a question to see if vehicle was still available, and immediately received a response. Went to see and test drive the vehicle the next day where I ended up signing the papers. Brought check and picked up the following day! Overall very good and quick transaction. Knowledgeable Sales Rep who even followed up and answered questions the following week!

I bought my explorer a few months ago and I love it. I've taken it on a few road trips. Nice smooth, comfortable ride. My dogs love it too. Plenty of space for everything we need while traveling. I highly recommend.

This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

Took my Shelby GT350 to a dealer that kept it for 5 days and then they told me nothing was wrong. I contacted Yoder Ford and they not only found the issue but fixed it all within 1 afternoon. I am beyond excited to have found such a professional team of techs to work with in the future. They truly went above and beyond to find and fix the issue.

2017 Ford Explorer. I love my car. It runs great but I have had battery problem and trim has blown off my car on freeway. Have not had a lot of problems with it.

I often drive to the Michigan upper pennisula in the winter. This SUV has never disappointed me. One time I was driving up to Sault Ste Marie early in the morning. The road was slippery with blowing snow. The outside air temp was MINUS 41. i was alone with hardly ever seeing another vehicle. I kept thinking "trust this vehicle" because my life literally depended on it. I had no problems. And everything was on high - the defroster, rear defrost, heated steering wheel, heated seat, radio and keeping my phone charger plugged in. And in case you wonder why I would venture out in these conditions - I was called for jury duty and made it on time !! It has also gotten me out of deep snow.
