The truck that I came to look at had already been sold. That’s about it. Too bad. But good news I I found another Chevrolet Avalanche which is nicer and is the color that I prefer.

Handles the Canadian Rockies like a champ, currently sits at 240,000kms and going strong with absolutely 0 mechanical issues at all. Albeit the fuel economy isn’t great, but can improved with efficient tires, 2WD, etc. Where it falls in fuel economy it makes up for in performance and reliability. No signs of any timing chain issues, transmission fluid only changed once in its lifetime of the vehicle. Stock everything and oil changed regularly. Only small complaint is the interior design and the transmission is a sloppy shifter but as expected and can be tuned to shift firmer is wanted. It was most noticeable while climbing up the Rockies, however it downshifted at the right moments and kept pace with traffic easily, the 4.0L V6 boasts enough power to keep up, it’s no speed demon but it gets the job done without killing itself. Primary use is commuting, but handles family long distance trips with ease and makes it quite enjoyable as it’s one comfortable unit, and produces an exuberant amount of heat on cold winter days.

He was the first person out of the many car lots I've gone to over the last 3 years to genuinely listen, be personable, and not just try to push me into an expensive car that didn't have any of my non-negotiables. The other 3 gentlemen I spoke with were also very helpful and up front. 10/10 I would recommend going to Vantacar and will do so again myself!

Pleasant, professional, and timely experience with Fishers Imports NW - with a few exceptions. They included a "Fishers Gold Package" which is simply the dealers fee of ~$600. (The typical dealer fee in Indiana is ~$200 according to AI). The used car we purchased was not adequately detailed (much dog hair which was addressed & spilled sticky substance on the back seat and carpet which was not). The GM/service rep were supposed to reach out to me on the Monday following the sale of the car regarding the cars alignment, they did not. I had to call them. The phone call was necessary because it wasn't clear from the dealer paperwork (that I had to request because it was not offered to me at the sale) what service they actually completed on the car. There was only a checklist that indicated "pass" on the items they had listed. I had to pay for a necessary alignment elsewhere.

Guy was honest. He told me what he knew about the vehicle. That’s about it.
