I bought my XL extended cab long bed in 2004 @54,000 miles. 2024 only 104,000 miles so far. Runs great smog test was great. Having a long bed really helps when working around the house. Only issues are the pull cables for the extra side door. Going to replace that including brake and hood cables. Other then that the Best truck iv'e ever owned 🇺🇸👍

Got my ‘98 F150 from my father. This truck had also been my grandfathers and my uncles at some point. It’s 26 YO this year with almost 430k miles on it. The interior has fallen apart a bit over the years but it has been heavily used as a work vehicle and covered in paint. But in my eyes, he’s still beautiful. I grew up in this vehicle and now I’m raising my kids in it. He’s still entirely reliable and dependable and gets me to and from everywhere, even state to state. He was definitely built Ford tough!!

I bought a 98 f150 lariat and had 62k miles when I bout it, now I have 183000 and only thing ever went wrong was 1 axle seal, 2 batteries, 1 alternator....best vehicle ever...very dependable

I bought my 98 F150 used and had been wrecked. I replaced all front end suspension and steering components. Drives good, four wheel drive is great! Very reliable and is now my tool truck. There are only two things that really need addressed is the front seats need some kind of lumbar support and the 4.6L engine pings under load and must either run a fuel with higher octane or add an octane booster to the lower grade fuels.

This truck is still running like a champ. 309,465 miles on it. Strong as I first bought it used at 75,000. Secret change the fluids regularly, fix when needed. When parts ware change them. You take care of it it will take care of you.

Jeff was extraordinary and realistic. I stopped by and drive the wrangler I was interested in. I wasn’t sure when I could return with my trade. He suggested I send pictures and info on my trade to get us in the ball park. Within 30 minutes of sending him my information that evening he called with a range for my trade. After some negotiation and a trip to the dealership, we closed on the deal and I was on my way in under 30 minutes. Well done.
