My ranger was purchased used, it replaces my 97 Ranger which I owned for 20 yrs til it was totalled @ 370,000 miles. Only major component failure was rear end dif at approximately 200,000 miles and it still ran strong at time of wreck. Prompting me to set my sights on another Ranger to buy. My 2009 is 2.3l (as was my 97) w/auto trans (97 was manual), owned now for 2.5yrs I have to say I'm VERY surprised at the 09's performance which I expected to be a bit sluggish compared to my 97 as it was a reg cab and the 09 is supercab (which should weigh more?) but happy to report that I'm loving my 09 even more. This truck accelerates very well and seems to be cut from the same cloth as my 97 which was the most reliable ride I've owned and at age 60 I've owned more than a few. Before I reach my limit of 500 words, I'm a big fan of the Ranger: easy to maintain, fun driving, handles much like a sports car, looks great with a little customization, I could go on, but you get the idea!

I own the 2wd rear wheel ranger; that means it has no 4X4. Had this vehicle for 7 years, will load furniture and light loads. This truck is light and is Terrible for winter time! Use another vehicle or put winter tires on it and it will cost you some money. Another thing, check the bed before buying one mine is rusted and might not pass inspection. Reliability is amazing we have the 4 cylinder with the auto transmission. Interior is bland as of 2020, no cd player, aux or any future features. If your a labor worker boy you will get some bang for your buck. Please do not expect this thing to tow.

I own a 2009 Ford Ranger XL 4 cylinder it’s reliable I haven’t had an issue since I had bought it had it for a long time and it’s been extremely reliable I have taken it across the country from California-Florida and no issues I do wish it had more space for the base model I’m 5’4 and I fit kinda snug but I love it anyways.

I purchased a 2009 Ford Focus SE with only 40,895 miles and no service problems plus the Carfax report was with it, April 1st. The car was well cared for. Tom Freeman was my sales rep. My credit wasn't up there so I couldn't get a loan but Tom was patient with me and gave me 2 weeks with my down payment to find other means. Which it only took me a week I love my car. I was looking for a used Honda. Did a lot of search and TM Motors had the lowest price in Orange Couunty I went there skeptical as first. I brought my dad (a mechanic) along. I was amazed by how clean it was and my dad gave it two thumbs up. The staff was very accommodating and I go the extended warranty cheaper than I thought it would be.
