2021 Tesla Model Y review
The moment I got the demo car onto the highway, I thought to myself, “I LOVE this car!” Which rarely happens. I test drove both the Model 3 and Model Y in snowy conditions, and had not a single bout of fear that I may lose control. A few weeks ago, when we were getting a winter blizzard, I was driving my Mother home from Boulder. It was snowing about 2” -3” per hour, people were spinning out all over the place. I had a bad couple of years. 2018 being the worst. I filed bankruptcy, lost my home, was in a job so stressful that it was killing me literally. In 2019 I decided to take control of my life and try to get out of my hole. Anyway, I needed a vehicle and threw my info out there to dealerships who handle people in my case. Hall was the only company consistent but not in an annoying way. They made an appointment for me and I met with Mr. Henry Bly. At first I was apprehensive about meeting with a salesman because I don’t like the “show” they put on to sell you something. But once I sat down with him, he made me feel human. He was real and let me know that I’m doing good and we will get my situation better within a year. He got me into a car that wasn’t the base model to give me some dignity. He made me feel like I once felt before and that’s a person who had great credit and was in a great place in her life. He then handed me over to the finance guy, Mr Chris Sherrod who was also amazing. I’m thankful for this experience and no longer fear dealerships and being suckered. I’m able to hold my head high and feel good again.
2026 Hyundai TUCSON review
LOVE everything about this car except for one issue. The "take a break" feature is a PAIN IN THE xxx and can't be shut off as far as I've found out.

First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
2015 Lexus LS 460 review
Very Luxurious Car inside and out, super reliable, never had any issues, drove the S500 and BMW 7 series before buying and liked this much better. Bought it used but it felt brand new. It is the best value luxury car available. Really amazing on long road trips or when you are in the car all day, it is like driving around in a recliner or a living room couch.
