2012 GMC Acadia SLT-1 review
Nice SUV for Moms that need a lot of cargo space
We like the Acadia. It has performed well with only a few items that needed repairing. Blower fan behind the glove box. A/C refrigerant leak. Transmission shift to D from R hesitation. Wish we had opted for the AWD but the FWD has been adequate. Good styling and comfortable. Just like a lot of newer car designs, too much plastic in the engine bay. I do all my own maintenance/repairs and this SUV is not too difficult work on.

The driver seat is kind of oddly situated and the second back sunroof does not open but the hot and cold seats the looks, the leather, the dvd package is on point. It is an odd vehicle. Best gas mileage for a big vehicle ever Thousands in upkeep this year but that is what happens when you get a nice vehicle primarily the biggest issue was the Schumacher auto in Delray that sold it to me that was the smoothest trade in ever that I eventually regretted

We found a truck on cars.com that was listed by The Car Dad. We called and talked with Henry, the Car Son. Henry was very helpful, told us all about the truck and the repairs that had been completed. We live 2.5 hours away, but decided to drive over there to see the truck (based on the reviews I read, I felt we were going to get a good truck from them). Henry greeted us and I could tell this was not a sleazy used car dealership. We drove the truck, talked more about it, then went into the office. Brian greeted us and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We bought the truck, and the process was very smooth. My son and I did not feel pressured.
