After buying Toyota vehicles for years, I found out that they were outsourcing their CVT’s and Honda was making their own CVT’s and after driving a new Toyota Corolla and then a new Honda Civic, I was more impressed with the Honda Civic. My three previous cars were Toyota Corolla’s and I loved them. I am very happy with my 2021 Honda Civic EX and I would not hesitate to recommend Honda.

My wife and I were shopping for a car to replace out totaled 2016 Prius V. We headed to Vestal to check out Matthews as they sell a few of the brands that we wanted to try out. We had a great experience with a sales rep at their Mitsubishi / VW dealership even though I didn’t fit into most of the cars we looked at. The salesman we were working with recommended we check out their Kia / Subaru store and called ahead for us. Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by Brian Chadwick and I’m happy to say everything worked out great. I explained what we were looking for and he took us to a bunch of vehicles so we could see how I fit into them. Eventually we test drove a 2020 Subaru Outback even though it wasn’t on our list and we loved it. We went back in and did the preliminary paperwork which was painless. There was no pushiness around the optional extras that they offered. Most importantly the price was very fair without having to do any kind of haggling. When all that we could do with Brian was finished for that evening we were passed onto one of the finance people who was also very nice, and again this was completely straight forward. No backroom sales pitches or any other junk that we’ve run into before. We came back the following Thursday to finish all the paperwork and take delivery of out new Outback. The process was very relaxed and if I can be honest, we left without feeling like we’d gone through what I’d call a normal car buying process. This was so far removed from any experience we’ve had in the past, we will definitely be coming back here the next time we need a replacement vehicle. If you’re looking for a car, I’d recommend the trip to Vestal to check them out and I definitely recommend working with Brian Chadwick.

From the very start of my car shopping in June, 2023, I chose Matthews Planet Pre-Owned on the Vestal Parkway. One of my high school pals, Donna Shelp Fletcher, works there as their title clerk. I contacted her and asked her who I could work with at the dealership to help me find a vehicle. I ended up working with Andy Busch, who was very helpful, patient, and friendly. I really like how they do not pressure you at all. I ended up purchasing a 2020 Chevy Trax. They gave me an excellent trade in for my Volkswagen Beetle. Everyone I came in contact with during this process were fantastic. Prior to buying this vehicle, I had a Volkswagen Beetle which had a recall. I called them, they set up an appt and were very accommodating & friendly. Took care of it with no problem! This past spring, I had an issue with my tire not taking in air at an air pump. I drove it right over to the service center and made it there before they closed. They checked the tire thoroughly. While I was waiting, Jim Morse GM, happened to be walking out into the service area, saw me and was so friendly. He doesn't know me from Adam! He asked if I was being helped so I told him my car was being looked at. He walked right over to them to see how it was going. He didn't have to do that! Then Tim Salisbury, (I believe he's a service mgr), who checked me in to begin with & a truly kind and friendly man,said they wanted to perform a thorough check to make sure nothing was wrong with the tire, so I waited in the Waiting Room, which is very clean & comfortable, has vending machines, and even popcorn, coffee, and water available while you wait. Every employee who walks by smiles and says hello. When my car was finished, Tim came to get me from the waiting room, said everything was good to go and no charge!!!!!!! They really want the best for you. Today I went back again for my NYS inspection. Tim checked me in... Again, so kind. I went to the waiting room. Jim Morse happened to walk by, again not knowing me, had a huge smile and a friendly "Hi! How are you doing?" Tim came out a short while later and said "You're all set!" It passed! I 150% recommend Matthews Planet Pre-Owned for buying a vehicle and for all your auto service needs. Oh, forgot to mention that I also got an oil change a couple months back. Great service, as usual. Who else gives you a card for a free car wash after each service? Just Matthews! They are, in my opinion, the best for all your auto needs! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have had my 2023 KIA Soul Sport since March of 2023. I love it, because it's comfortable, fast (little red button) especially in Michigan. I have had it up to 111mph without even trying, as i was trying to get out of a situation in Michigan. I use a wheelchair, and so the space is good for that and family, and groceries. It is awesome on gas too. I was surprised at how well it handled in the snow. No worries there. This is my third KIA, and as long as the warranty stays the same or gets better, i will still purchase them.

I am 62 years old and have owned many vehicles. This is by far the best car I have ever owned. It has about 151,000 miles on it, and it still runs great. Zero mechanical problems so far.

I've had my 2016 Focus SE for 9 years this year & will drive it until one of us dies. I've never had a problem with it. It gets great gas mileage, is comfortable & roomy. I've hauled many things that others thought wouldn't fit but with the back seats folded down ...no problem. I would recommend a Focus to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle.

My car has decent gas mileage— about 40 mpg with a bit less when driving predominantly in town. It fits my petite frame very well but my husband, who is larger, says he is comfortable driving it as well and actually owns his own fit. The car has good visibility and is responsive on the road. It takes curves well, and the acceleration is more than sufficient for entering the freeway and it responds well when a quick maneuver is needed. I love this car more than any other car I have had.

Purchased for my wife's 80 + mile daily commute. She drove it daily for over 10 and a half years. All maintenance done by the Honda Dealer in Saratoga Springs, NY Great service, by the way. A very trouble free car. She decided to purchase a new CRV earlier this year. I now drive the Insight for my daily 40 mile commute. I average 58MPG, as I drive it very easy and avoid the interstate. It now has 228,000 miles and still going strong! I highly recommend this if you don't mind its lower performance but it pays back in great gas mileage. I fill up every 14 to 16 days for less than $18.00. Can't say enough about how good of a car this is. My son is turning 16, in a few months. This will be his 1 car. I am looking for another one for myself.

I own a Kia Soul 2016 has currently 62,000 miles ,purchased it with 23,000 miles on it.So far its been a fantastic car. No maintenance issues. Keep up with all the recommended maintenance and I'm sure your have a long time vehicle.

I went in just kind of looking around. I had no idea what I wanted to buy, but knew I definitely wanted to replace my Cobalt. The sales guy showed me around, asked what kind of driving I do, what is most important to me in a car etc. He didn't pressure me into buying anything. I'm sure he gets commission but he told me "Let me show you what we've got. If a car is for you, it's for you. If it's not, it's not." I decided on a Subaru Forester. It's my first time owning one, and I'm really happy with it. No problems at all.

I have the 2012 Honda Crosstour, Love this vehicle. People think it's a bran new vehicle because I kept it in top notch, plus you don't see many around, so they think Honda just came out with it. The rude is very comfortable and the acceleration of this vehicle is powerful. To be a V6, it's ok on the gas mileage. I had my radio put in as a 10" screen. Look Awesome. Kept the maintenance up on it, change your oil regular, you can get over 200,000 mile on it. This vehicle is Awesome!

Never had such an easy experience buying a car than I did at Driven Automotive. I requested a test drive and Ryan got right back to me to set up a test drive for the next day. The car was ready for me to test drive when I got there. After my test drive Ryan took care of all the paperwork for me. Very impressed so far. Traded in a 2014 Audi S8 and the 4 years of improvements are noticeable. It has very good performance for a stock vehicle (nothing has enough), so down the road I will most likely talk to APR for a tune.

I recently bought a Toyota RAV4 from Driven and could not be happier with my experience. I bought the car in 2020 now , I've replaced the water pump, alternator, purge valve and normal maintenance, the car gets up to speed on the highway pretty good , is pretty quite , handles good for a economy car, I got a 5 speed manual with all the bells and whistles, I would say it's not bad for the price I paid for it , I guess the automatics are a nightmare to own. If you drive in the snow get snow tires, other than that I hope to hit 200 k with this car

My husband and I went to the Service Center for an oil change and tire rotation. We immediately were met by Service Adviser Chris Mondolfi. He treated us as if we had been longtime service customers - this was our first visit to the Matthews Import Center’s Service Center. He was polite and made our experience as pleasant as can be. We will definitely return based on our recent customer service received not only with service but with our recent purchase of a certified used Kia Sportage.

The car has been nothing short of amazing for me, great mpg, no issues with reliability has been a good city commuter and I'll most likely consider a new one when I'm in need of a new car.

I bought a brand VW Beetle, brand new in 2004. I paid $22,000 for it. Twenty years later, I’m still driving it. It now has 52,000 miles on it and I’ve only had to do general maintenance. (Oil changes and batteries) It’s still like new!!! Leather heated seats, moon roof, and it’s bright red in color. I love this little bug. It’s fun to drive.

So happy with the service here. I knew exactly what I wanted and David got me right into the vehicle, test drove it on a Friday and had it home on Monday, with an oil change new inspection and a new sway bar link. We told him of the noise and instead of being brushed off as I have before at other dealers, he listened and had the problem fixed!!

In late 2015 I ordered and bought a 2016 Hyundai accent. I was looking for a car under $20,000 CAD that would suit my purposes and that would be safe enough for my teenaged kids to learn and drive. The dealer experience was not what I would call a positive one. As this is about the car I will not go into detail here. The look of the little 2016 accent hatchback is really a 8/10. Put on some cheap fun stripes and you’ll be getting second looks; 9/10 then. Other body styles for the Accent are well…meh. Now the car itself is cheap to buy, and built cheaply. There is no doubt about that. There is an awful lot of road noise, there is usually some body part rattle, the torque is laughable, but again—it is cheap. I call this a Meccano car. Why? Because replacing parts is as easy as a Meccano set. And you WILL need to learn how to do this. This car gets no respect in parking lots; it’s constantly being dinged and hit by other cars. It has low clearance; road debris doesn’t go under the car— it cracks up all the plastic bits. Oh yeah, and the four or so fibre skid plates? Two disappeared within the first six months. One ripped off in a puddle during a rainstorm. However, because there’s so much plastic, and parts are easily available due to the car’s ubiquity, it’s fairly cheap to fix. This car can be insanely efficient. If you’re hypermiling, you can achieve 5.2 L per 100 km. I drive aggressively and get 6.2 or so. In town aggressive, will get you 7.4. My battery lasted six years before replacement. No complaints there. I take care of my car. I do most regular services on time. It’s been parked outside in Canadian prairie weather it’s entire life. It starts at -35C without the block heater plugged in. It’s insanely reliable and is just now displaying the first signs of rust from our heavily salted winter roads. Speaking of which– this thing is so light that you absolutely NEED winter tires up here, even if it is a front wheel drive or isn’t the law. While I would probably never buy a car like this used with 100000 km or more, I have been pretty happy with this thing. I like it better than my past Fords, Nissan, my four Chryslers, and even my Audi (based on price vs reliability). It was a good buy. I knew I was getting a cheap, disposable car. And unless something else presents itself later as a better option-I’d be looking at replacing it with another Hyundai. 2016 Hyundai Accent Hatchback GL manual

I love my KIA Soul EV , this is my 3rd KIA vehicle and I kinda feel bad for saying this is my favorite. I have loved each of them. Each KIA vehicle has a personality of it's own, I Highly suggest to go test drive each or the type you are interested in, then decide what is your favorite, and go for it. First I like to say my name is Mr Van, and I like to.tell you about my wonderful experience buying my car from Global motors. I found a car I really like and it had a very fare price. I called Global motors to let them know I had interest in this car and wanted to know if the car was mechanically sound. I asked can I have a purchase order because I have a bank check for my desired cost. . They assured me the car was clean and well kept and no major issues where present. I informed them I'm from Maryland and I like to set up the entire transaction before flying to Binghamton NY to take possession. They reassured me that they would be able to accommodate my request and began the process of preparing the paperwork. They FedEx overnight a purchase agreement with no hidden fees or anything. Only the agreed price. So I mailed the the order back next day with my check in tow. A day later they informed me they got the check and paperwork, just give them a few days to prep the car with temp tags. I agreed that's fine I will not be able to fly there till the weekend. So on Friday evening right after work I took a flight to NY and stayed in a hotel room that night 🌙 In the morning I took a uber to the Global motors dealership, it was 10 minutes away. Soon as I got out my uber one of the brothers greeted me Mr Vann? I said yes hello . He said your car is ready for you freshly washed come inside and just sign a few papers. So about 10 minutes later we talked smiled, joked a bit and I thanked them for making this such a fantastic experience buying a car, zero stress. These guys are honest, professional business owners and you can tell they really care about you as there customer, I love how they run it. With all that said I encourage anyone looking to purchase a car to strongly consider shopping with Global motors. I've had many cars in my time but this time has been Magical. Leasing this car. Expected to wait a couple of months but received a notification that a car matching my specifications would be available the next week. The car met most of my requirements. The price of the lease was considerably more than I expected to pay but I agreed to the terms. Two months after taking possession of the vehicle, the brake actuator failed and I lost use of the vehicle for two weeks. Of course, the repair of the brake actuator was under warranty! The miles per gallon are what I have come to expect from a Toyota Corolla - better than 40 mpg on the freeway, a little less on surface streets. I replaced the standard interior rear view mirror with the one that has a built in Universal garage door opener because there was not a convenient place to mount the garage door opener that I had used with two previous Toyota Corolla leases. The thing I like about this 2022 Toyota Corolla: good gas mileage, bright headlights, good interior space. Things I do not like: cheap plastic rear trunk wing that broke in drive through car wash, black out lettering that standout on the greyish body color, unlit driver side lock/unlock buttons that are hard to locate in the dark when getting out of the car.

My wife and I looked at several different options for purchasing a new car. Out of all the dealers we were in communication with, hands-down, Peko and his team were absolutely phenomenal. I drive around town most days and love the idea of not using as much gas. I drive older volvo's that I love for many reasons but they are aging and certainly not good on gas. I like the idea of full EV cars but the cost is very high and range for me (I take a lot of 200-300 mile road trips) makes it more complicated along with the expense of charging stations or installing upgraded home chargers. I bought a used Volt with 50k miles and it honestly is a pretty awesome car. I can drive around town almost purely on electric, just plug in at night to a standard outlet. And barring me going on a road trip a tank of gas a month maybe less. (8 gallons to fill up!!!!) I love the heated seats and wheel. The interior layout is great and its a very quiet car. It's quick around town and holds its own on the freeway. Are the seats volvo comfortable? NO, but they aren't bad at all in the leather premier trim. Is the back seat huge not really but if you are less than 6' it should be fine. The bose sound system is GREAT. All the safety features are nice. Back up camera, front and rear sensors, lane keep, adaptive cruise, etc.... It took a week or so to get used to how to drive it in EV and maximize my range. I can now get around 55-60 miles in town. I would say to read the manual for sure, the climate controls are situated to save electricity so there is no A/C on or off button and I had to read up on how it works. I got the hang of it once I took the time to understand what did what. The Chevy Volt forum is a wealth of knowledge as well, and that really made it easy to learn how the car works. Apart from slight learning curve it is an excellent car you can easily run in EV only if it suits your situation. Long trips are no problem I can get 42 mpg on the freeway usually and no down time to charge at stations along the way. This is a great car to bridge the gap between full gas and full electric and given the price to purchase it almost makes sense not to own one. I LOVE IT.

This all-electric car is fun to drive, comfortable, and has lots of fun features! ( So many that I am still learning about!) We knew we wanted electric, and I love the Volkwagen that I had, so this was the perfect car for us. It seats 4 comfortably, 5 is a little tight but do-able.
