*NOTE* Have a general idea and do your research before stepping on to ANY car lot - that way you are not wasting YOUR time, nor that of the sales staff. If you require financing, get pre-approved BEFORE venturing out there. I have seen too many reviews where the sales rep gets a bad rap for putting somebody in a car that they do not want. It's not necessarily the fault of the salesman; it takes two to make a transaction. Again, research the cars FIRST (carfax is just a click away...) and research the dealership. Knowledge is power, and with such a large purchase, why would you NOT do the proper research? Additionally, expect the transaction to take some time. We're not buying a dozen eggs here! Consumers need to understand that there is a bit of research and document preparation, that takes place on the dealer's end as well: release of liability, proof of insurance, and other compliance regulations required -by the state- from the dealer, to remain in business! Coming from out of state (Reno, NV), I knew what I wanted before making the trek to University Honda. I found the car through cars.com, and researched the lineage (go carfax!). I knew the Kelly Blue Book value of both the pending purchase AND my trade in, and contacted the dealer to arrange for a test drive. Upon arrival, Fred Walker had the car ready and waiting for us. He and the rest of the University Honda team were professional, pleasant , and accommodating. What more could we want? Fred is a hilarious conversationalist, and will make anyone's shopping experience a joy. Will I return for another? Only if Fred and Rudy are available! Thanks Guys! I have been using the service center for many years on various vehicles for about the last 10 years. After my most recent Honda was totaled I came in to buy a new car. I came into the dealership around 3:30 and by about 5 I was waiting for the detail and fill up. Always helps to have an idea of what you want, but these guys are fast! I have bought quite a few cars in my lifetime and these guys put them all to shame. Everyone from the sales person Ed, sales manager and the financing guru. Very impressed

Our salesman , Kent, and finance person, Richard were both awesome! It was a very smooth experience. So helpful and I appreciate the follow up, where I did not get at another dealership in the same area before. My only suggestion would be maybe in put a small caf� or more healthier snack options! But I still loved it, thank you!

Very thorough servicing of my car & ?cars health findings video? afterwards was very informative. Service rep was very helpful. I did NOT care for the Ai partnered booking an appointment, which later got cancelled & service rep said it was NOT him who did it!

When we buy our next Honda, we will make sure we look up Fred and University Honda, even though we live nearly two hundred miles from Davis.

After looking online for a couple of weeks, and searching within 2 hours of the Bay Area, we decided to head for University Honda. We exchanged emails and made an appointment to meet with the internet sales reps. We arrived as schedule and had someone with us within 5 minutes. We negotiated pricing and ended up with a deal that beat anyone else within 200+ miles. No pressure sales and very earnest and straightforward about the deal. A DETAILED personalized walkthrough of the entire vehicle before we left the lot. EXTRA BONUS - we left the car at the dealership while we went to lunch and took a brief tour of Davis.
