They also installed a trailer hitch for me before I picked up my vehicle! Overall, a very good experience.
2026 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid review
This is my 2nd new 2026 Tacoma Hybrid LIMITED. Why the limited? Full time 4WD with ability to bypass center differential and go full time 4WD high and low, like the non-limited versions. I found that the torque was too high in anything but the full time 4WD limited hybrid, and the rear wheels would slip. If not full time 4WD, can't put into 4WD proactively seeing a dangerous situation ahead and making a turn until you are in the bad stuff, which is normally too late. In my humble opinion, if you don't have this specific variant of the Tacoma, it isn't worth it. The solid full time 4WD is worth it in all driving conditions from dry, to wet, to snow. No rear wheel slip pulling out of a slight incline on dry pavement. Even with weight in back, the non-full time 4WD models slip. That said, there are things about this that are annoying. The handoff from electric to gas can be jolting or grate on your nerves like hearing a bad song over and over again. However, the MPG gain, is music to my ears, instead of 16 or maybe 17mpg, I'm usually at 24mpg on a mixed run of city, suburbs, and highway. This is not like other hybrid models, in operation or smoothness. You will sometimes find when cold it is a bit clunky or unpredictable with shifts and stuff. And sometimes, braking can be unpredictable as to how much pressure is needed. I haven't figured out why, but think it has something to do with the hybrid as a non-hybrid 2025 trd off road I had, didn't have that issue. Now, the other annoying thing, and happened on both of the 2026 limited hybrids I bought. The drivers seat, the seatback, will recline all the way to touch the rear seat bottom cushion. Seems to be when you walk out of range with remote and car is running. Why? Don't know but will look into it when it goes in for its first service. The good stuff is many, and one of those is the A/C. It's a hybrid A/C system so it's not dependent on the gas engine running to put out super cold A/C. That is a must for me. And while there are no back seat vents for A/C, it cools the whole thing off well and quickly. The ventilated seats are also amazing. The large radio screen, the big dials to turn up/down the temp, and radio, these are awesome. Being able to see all around the truck, well that is so nice, no chance you won't see something. I know I use the auto on feature, so when starting out, or below 10mph, the cameras come on automatically. The remote features are also amazing. A digital key in your phone, a credit card sized physical key for your wallet, and the app will all let you get in and start and drive your truck. So if you forget your key, you can move on without it. You can set your HVAC settings from the app on remote start. You can check status of tire pressure, doors open/closed, windows open/closed, etc. via the app. Priceless. Overall, it's a great truck for me, an older guy who needs the legroom nothing else really can provide except a competitive mid-sized truck, but can't get as a hybrid and full time 4WD. Besides all of that, Toyotas do hold their value. When I traded in my Tacoma TRD off road that was about 3 months old, I didn't lose any money on it. They are in demand. And so are these models. The electric tailgate is awesome and would not want to do without anymore. Parking assist sensors are very helpful. And if people tell you the front spoiler underneath the truck looks stupid, I'll tell you that after a couple of days you never even see it let alone worry about it. If it helps mpg's, it stays on. The lights are all LED's in and out. The LED cargo lights and trailer light are very useful. Same with the puddle lamps and door marker lights for when a door is open to prevent others from seeing it Is open.

2024 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
Just trip 10,000 miles. Trouble free so far. Gets 34mpg consistently and seats 7. Got it for under 40k. Very comfortable. I think it's one of the most practical vehicles on the road. Only complaint is the windshield wipers only has 3 settings.

Just purchased a new Highlander here and we cannot say enough about Jeff in Sales and the entire Leadcar staff we dealt with during the process!! We have bought a number of cars over the years, with some really great experiences, but this one topped them all. From the day I called and spoke with Jeff about buying a new Highlander, until 2 days later when we drove out the door, we were treated so well. Jeff was very knowledgeable & patient while answering our questions, allowed us all the time we needed to check out the vehicle & pick his brain, and was honest about everything. When we began to discuss costs, there was no shell game and he was upfront about all that we asked about. There were no hidden costs, he explained how the process would work, was fair with our trade and did all he could to be sure we were satisfied before we signed the bottom line. When we went to pick up the car the finance manager was just as professional and explained each and every page we were signing. Jeff patiently spent a great deal of time with us explaining all of the electronics and settings to ensure we were confident in how everything worked. He also provided his number so we could reach out with any questions after we drove it for a few days. Before calling Jeff, I was dealing with a local, "big name" dealer close to my home who was not nearly as customer focused as the folks at LeadCar. 2024 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
Purchased new 2024 Santa Fe Hybrid Limited, the styling is on point, interior is laid out well comfortable. Got the matte finish bronze and it looks amazing. Our real world mpg is little higher than expected, coming in at 36 combined so far with it being driven 4k miles. The ONLY downside was our after sales service. Drove us insane trying to get the simplest request. Piece of window trim was missing when we took delivery, they had the car for 2+ months to "repair/replace" this ! During that time, it was probably promised "next Friday" , nearly every Fri., and always I always had to be the one to call to try and get update, if you could even talk to a live person, it would be always be * let me check and I'll call you back* and days would go by forcing you to call again. I can't say this about other Hyundai dealerships, but McDonough Hyundai in Georgia has the absolute, positively, worst customer service . It's like Popeyes Chicken, you that chicken sandwich is great, but you also they not known for the service, it ain't no Chik fil a.

2026 Hyundai ELANTRA HEV review
I'm so happy with this car. I rented one while my Lexus was in the shop and was impressed by the layout, performance, features, and the incredible mileage. I'm currently getting between 50 and 60 mpg commuting 40 miles a day to work and don't miss stopping at the gas station on a regular basis. Will lease or purchase this type of hybrid again.

2026 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
Bought this new hybrid car a few weeks ago and going on first long distance drive, 2k miles, soon. So far we love this car. The looks and performance have been what we hoped for. Gas mileage is not max yet, but it is still breaking in. There are a lot of electronics to learn how to use and I read and watch YouTube for more info. 2025 Toyota 4Runner Hybrid review
I have been buying Toyota 4-runners since 1998. I really like the dependably of Toyota. This is the first hybrid I have ever bought, so I can’t comment on that part, but I don’t like that is smaller then my 2016 4-runner. I can’t haul as much as I use to, and when you fold the seats down there is a big bump up from the seats being folded up, so no flat surface to haul. It has so many sensors for all the driving help aids that when I was driving in ice and snow none of the sensors worked , because of all the ice and snow. It was so cold you could not clean them off. As I was driving it kept giving me notices that nothing was working and consult the owners manual. Also the foot opener on the back hatch did not work either because of snow and ice. If you lose power for some reason I wouldn’t be able to open the hatch manually. There is a button underneath the y on the name Toyota to open the hatch which was not frozen. I liked my 2016 better, but I travel a lot , and it had a lot of miles, that is the only reason I bought the new 4-runner. Some features I love like the button that automatically dims the headlights when a car approaches. The automatic rear view mirrors are a plus for tight packing spaces so you can hit a button and they fold in. I love my heated and cooled seats. Has a heated steering wheel as well. Middle console is small , and the drink holder is right at my elbow when driving. Smaller then the 2016 4 runner.
