I have owned over 10 different midsize SUVs from the Mazda, Blazer, Highlander, land cruiser, and others. I have found that the palisade is by far the best I have ever. Now, if I could just figure out all of the electronics available, I would be very very happy.

Negative: somuch cabin noise with all windows closed sounds like window open (75-85 decibels). Can feel and hear every little bump especially on rough road. Noise rear of car found out recall for shock bracket problem ended replacing both shocks and all shock brackets and told this will have to be done again when Hyundai comes out with new recall. Positive: very big and comfortable cooled ventilated seats. Nice instrument panel easy to use and see. Nice ride other than mentioned above. A/C real cool works great in 100 plus degrees outside. Excellent camera parking featured front and rear plus 360 degree view. Excellent sound system. Electric third row up/down feature helpful. Second row captain seats heated, cooled and separate AC controls.

We traded in our Genesis G80 for this. Love everything about it except it doesn't have power mirrors. Both the Genesis and Palisade have unpleasant interior smells, but as air circulates, the odor is gone.

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and to see if they could do a recall repair under a time-line schedule. Our service advisor, Vicki, was knowledgeable and assured that the work would be completed on time as my wife and granddaughter were to be at an appointment late afternoon. Not only did Vicki assure us that the initial work would be completed on time as requested so we left the vehicle at the dealership knowing that they would call upon completion. Vicki called us and let us know other repairs that should be done and suggested the brake job that needed immediate attention. I authorized that this be added to the work order and once again was assured that it could be finished in time. I felt very comfortable adding the additional work especially knowing that my daughter and granddaughter were driving this car and needed it to be safe.
