Used Hyundai SONATA for sale near Lytle, TX

I purchased my 2021 Santa Fe Calligraphy in February of 2021. J.T. was my sales person. I cannot recommend J.T. and this dealership enough. My vehicle is currently in the shop after my son had a minor accident. The service department did not have any loaner vehicles available so I decided to call J.T and see if there was anyway he could help. Not only did he remember me from 2 years ago but he worked with Sam to provide me with a loaner from the sales department. I need to also mention that Sam has helped me in the past as well. I am so impressed with the quality of service this dealership provides. They don't forget about you once the papers are signed and you drive off the lot. They are there for you, whether it's J.T or Sam in sales, or Justin in service who has even offered to drive me home after he was off work, I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to give my business to. Overall, I really like this car. Nice look inside and out. Easy to clean Internal cabin noise is quiet while driving. Like car notifications inside the car.

I have the Limited. This is my 6th Hyundai/Genesis car and they just keep getting better. The technology is fantastic and equals many features in luxury cars at twice the price. In June I took a 3450 mile trip, hit 14 states and a variety of traffic conditions and it just kept chugging along with no effort. Features like HDA help on the long days of 700 miles. Used less gas than my previous car too, 95 gallons on that trip.

I drove 3500 dually diesels for 25-30 years and then went to a Honda ridgeline 2018 new, love it until I drove my wife’s new car and decided I needed a car. My best friend had a Hyundai and loved it so I did hours of reviews Hyundai vs many others. All factors considered I decided to test drive a few. All things considered the Hyundai won and a low mileage 2021 caught my eye and I got it. After apps 1000 miles I am so glad I got it. Pros and cons Honda (H) push button start Hyundai (hy) key start, H remote start hy no remote start, H good ride hy better ride, H noisy hy less noisy,H electric keypad with gloves on more user friendly for me, hy parking easier, hy cornering better, H acceleration a bit stronger but hy smoother, both get the job done, I am 74 yo so I understand knobology better than the slow digital control for heat radio etc.,hy wins there- breaks equal, dashboard info hy wins, seems to love Google maps tolerates Waze, I prefer Waze. Pros and cons about not locking keys in car - can’t dash out start it w/o leaving key in ignition,physically gettin and out of the vehicle is harder, in a nutshell the things that matter more to me the hy wins so far.The salesman, Lamar was exceptional, a young family man earning a living by hustling but not rushing! Remember Lamar at Southern Auto Group in Newport News VA. Oh and the warranty was winner!

I have been driving Sonata Hybrids since 2011.This one is the BEST. Never a problem and fantastic gas mileage. I'm waiting for my 2024 Sonata Hybrid LTD to arrive

This is on a 2004 Sonota that has 191,000 miles. I bought it new and it has never been back to the dealership for a warranty issue. It has 2.7 v-6 and doesn’t use any oil between oil changes. This by far has been the best car I have ever owned. Good gas mileage, I’m 6’3” and has plenty of leg room. Yes I would buy another.

I have a 2017 Sonata SE that has been a very good, reliable vehicle. I spend alot of time on the road for my job and it had never given me any issues; very comfortable, gas mileage around 30+. As many others have said, the engine conked out at around 124,000 mi. The dealer replaced it with a new factory engine 2 mos ago. A week after I got it back, the accelerator something or other broke so I took it back and had to pay $500 to repair it. (they swore it was unrelated- I dont think so) Other than that, it has been a great car.

Have a 2020 Sonata SEL with convenience package and it's now 11/24. 26 thousand miles and never had an issue. Car is comfortable reliable and my wife and daughter have our their feet down when I wanted to get another vehicle. My daughter wants it in a few years as I drive carefully, service the car every 4,000 miles. She wants a free car with under 50k miles that will last 200k miles. I have taught her well. She understands a good value. So glad I got the 2.5 non turbo as I believe the engine will be worry free for another 175k miles

came here to get a used car for my 16th birthday with my mom and was expecting a more sketchy experience for the advertised prices online but it was a very nice building/office ran by a husband and wife that were both very attentive and knowledgeable about their cars. husband didnt stalk us as we looked but was ready to answer any questions we had and provide keys for any car we were interested in. there was no pressure, no bait and switch, no false advertisement, and it was overall a really nice experience with these nice people. they have kids themselves and love to talk about them which automatically improved my trust. they have lots of stories and information to tell to new drivers and i actually learned quite a bit ! my mom did end up purchasing a chevy cruze the next day and there were no hidden fees or suprises and we took it home with no problems. i highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a decent used car because of the intuitive trust i have for these people. great experience overall :)

It saved my life I was in a bad car wreck a couple weeks ago in this car I hit a deer and drifted into a tree and flipped 5 times and the inside lit up to help me find my phone to call the police and my radio and steering wheel still worked to help call the police the inside was sturdy not one thing was crushed into the car definitely would recommend

This 2018 is my second Sonata. Hyundai addressed all the issues I had with the 2012 I owned. All I've done is oil changes, brake pads, tires. The car has been flawless, the transmission is very smooth, though I liked the 2012 transmission slightly better for the shift strategy. Technology package is fantastic. Dynamic cruise, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking... Almost drives itself. The car is still humming along like a sewing machine today.

If you’re shopping for a car Diamond Motors is the place for you, ask for Rick the entire staff is friendly down to the mechanic . They genuinely help you get into the vehicle you desire not just something to get you off the lot. the 2012 Hyundai Sonata is a smooth comfortable car with a potential flaw that Hyundai has, in my opinion, addressed adequately. First the Pros: It is stylish in both the interior as well as exterior design. It is comfortable, even for me at 6'3" and is not tiring for extended periods on the highway. The fuel economy is good averaging for me about 32 MPG with mostly highway driving. The engine has reasonable power when needed and is generally smooth. The cons are that the 4-cylinder Theta-II engine that the Sonata Uses, (as well as the Santa Fe and Kia Optima and Sorento) has a known flaw that causes the #4 cylinder connecting rod bearing to wear out prematurely causing engine failure. Hyundai has recently extended the Engine Warranty to a lifetime warranty on these engines and that includes if you bought the car used. I think this is a reasonable response. My Sonata suffered this exact failure 5 months ago at 164,000 miles and the engine was replaced with no pushback. The car carried an original 100K mile warranty which is still considered industry leading so, legally, any car over 100K miles Hyundai and Kia could have stuck to their original warranty agreement and taken no action. But that is not what they are doing. One of the reasons I gave Korean cars a try several years ago was the lack of response I got on a Japanese brand known for their high quality that also had a known failure point but took no action after the warranty expired. Because of Hyundai's ultimate response I still highly recommend the car. if you have a higher mileage Sonata, my advice would be sure you have some sort of roadside assistance, so in case you experience this same failure, you will not be left stranded. The good news is that in the rare instance you experience this issue, you should receive a new engine.

We were treated with the utmost kindness, professionalism, and extended over extended courtesies were given to us at Superior Hyundai, off of Loop 410 and Callaghan and I cannot say enough truly, about Jonathan Priette, our Sales Agent, Mark Anthony, Mgr., and Oscar Fernando in Finance! There was never “rushing us into any deal”, but rather, my husband and I were treated with respect. We showed up late in the evening and they never seemed to be in a hurry. Not one bit. They made sure all our questions were answered in detail and on top of all that kindness and professionalism…..I drove out of their parking lot with the exact car I was looking for and with a great package deal. These three gentleman treated us the way everyone should be treated, with utmost respect! There’s not enough of that in this world nowadays. So, if you are looking for a great car with a great package deal, please do yourself a favor and go look for any of these three gentlemen. I bought my car as used from the dealer. I have had no issues so far with it. The radio and heater work better than my old Toyota Corolla.

Owned our Sonata since October 2017, and it had 38k on it. Now it just clicked over 100k and it's been a great car so far! On a good day, I can get up to 44 MPG and about 25 city. Power is good (2.4 engine), tackles inclines well, and keeps up with traffic. Interior is well thought out and fairly comfortable. We just came back from a 3,300 mile summer road trip and had absolutely no issues! I do all my own maintenance which means it gets meticulously maintained. My #1 complaint is oil consumption. PLEASE CHECK YOUR OIL REGULARLY. If not, you can kiss your engine goodbye! Only issues I've had were two dead batteries but other than routine maintenance, I can believe that this car will achieve 200,000 miles! Take care of your car and it will take care of you!
