After spending time with the 2024 QX80 Sensory, I’m comfortable giving it a five‑star rating—not because it’s perfect, but because of how well it delivers on the things that actually matter in this segment, especially at the cheaper real‑world transaction prices these typically sell for. The build quality stands out immediately. Material quality, fit, and finish are all genuinely impressive, and even after 30,000 miles the cabin remains tight with very few creaks or rattles. That’s something I can’t say about several other luxury brands I’ve owned, including BMW, Mercedes, and Cadillac, which tend to develop interior noises far earlier. On the road, the QX80 excels at what it’s built for. The ride is extremely comfortable, highway noise is well controlled, and the 400‑hp V8 provides smooth, effortless power. It’s a relaxed, confident cruiser that makes long family trips easy. The interior is spacious, the leather is high‑quality, and both the interior and exterior design have a clean, upscale look. Fuel economy is average for a large V8 SUV—nothing surprising there. The real drawbacks come from the dated technology. The infotainment system feels behind the times, and features like a head‑up display or massaging seats simply aren’t available. The front seats could also use more side bolstering for better support. Even with those shortcomings, the overall package is strong. When you factor in the typical selling price—often well below MSRP—the value becomes even clearer. You’re getting a large, comfortable, powerful, and well‑built luxury SUV that prioritizes reliability and long‑term durability over chasing trends. It’s not perfect, but nothing in this class is. What the QX80 does, it does exceptionally well, and that’s why it earns a full five stars from me.

This rig is tight and comfortable as xxxx. It drives tight and handles like it is nobody's business. Yea it does not have remote start and navigation system. I just have to get a 2019 Infiniti pure base that is. I did not pay attention about those amenities. It is not a big loss. You can get a navigation sysem for nothing. And remote start in the winter time I suppose can a be a great thing to have. As you can warm up your car before hand. I guess it is not the end of the world. But the rest this behicle is cat's meow.

I have a 2023 brand new off show room floor an my windshield has been leaking water from outside when it rains extremely hard outside had to take it back within 1 month of having it an they kept it for 70 + they replaced the windshield only for it to happen this year again this is not a good look for infiniti the service department say my car is the 5th car to have issues with water leaking from windshield

Love the body design, the interior is comfortable. However the technology could be more updated. Car is very reliable it does 26 GPM on the highway, engine is very powerful.

I brought my vehicle into Infiniti of Grand Rapids last week for the 10,000-mile service and was very pleased with the work done by Yomani and his service team. They got my car in quickly and updated me on the status throughout the day. The team completed the maintenance inspection and all recommended maintenance in a timely manner. They changed the oil and filter, flushed the brake fluid, checked the tire pressure and condition, and inspected the brakes. My vehicle runs great after the service and I appreciate the professional and friendly experience from the Infiniti of Grand Rapids staff. Yomani and his technicians do quality work and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family needing service or maintenance on their vehicles.

Owned it for 10 years and has been a joy to drive. Handles great in the snow, plenty of space for passengers and/or cargo, and no major problems. Great looking SUV that has been extremely dependable. Very happy with our purchase.

Brad worked with us providing valuable information and insight into what makes and models might best meet our needs. Took plenty of time, allowing us to test drive several cars. His input made all the difference in our final purchase decision which was at another dealer. But if he would have had the right car for us we would have closed the deal then and there! Drives and handles very well on the road. The only surprise was during purchase. I expected it to have a Bose sound system like my G35 had, and the automatic front seat and steering column. On my G35 these two systems moved in unison and had memory for the position of the seat and steering column that could be set for two different drivers. The only other thing is the absence of a spare tire. Those run flat tires ride very hard and are not cost effective for owners.

In winter , the windows freeze. Once you roll the windows down they stay locked down. To roll them up , you have to pull up with your hands. Sometimes that trick works and other times not. Transmission jerks when you try to change gears from start to the 2 nd gear The side mirrors are smaller limiting the view particularly for the rear side view

The Sensory trim model offers excellent amenities and comfort options. A very quiet and smooth ride not lacking of power. The electronics are simple to learn and easy to use.

I purchased my car here in December 2022. It has held up since then. No major issues, but I brought it in today, April 20th, 2023 as I could not get my headlight on. Joseph was extremlely helpful in the buying and fixing process. He went above and beyond and out of his way numerous times. I am a very satisfied customer. I love my G35x although I bought a Lexus last year an RX350 I still love my G. It’s sporty fast great acceleration and handles great on the road and in the snow. I keep up with the maintenance and it has been so reliable. I have owned this car for about 7 years and bought with only 64k. It now has 161k and still going strong. If this car starts to fall apart I will definitely buy another if it cost more to fix. I plan to own this car until the wheels fall off. Love my G💯💪🏽. Thinking about putting a wrap on iit spice up the color.

I wrote a review for this car after I had recently purchased it. I have have had it for two years now and still believe it is one of my favorite vehicles I have ever purchased. So it has 18,000 miles and I have had no problems. Not a single issue and if I thought I had an issue it was because I didn’t read the manual and didn’t realize how to use set the many options in settings. Lol. The interior is really nice and comfortable, the ride is smooth and there is a SPORT drive setting I can use whenever I need to pass a truck or slow car. That mode really makes a difference but I drive in ECON mode mostly because I like to cruise and save fuel mileage. Nice to have choices.

It’s a great car however I do not feel like “things are conveniently “ located. When driving, I struggle with finding the defroster, or adjusting the entertainment system. Perhaps with more time, I will get used to it.
