2000 Jaguar XK8 review
Love it... Purchased it Nov. 2015 at 73,000miles... Clean Carfax.. w/rebuilt transmission. Car is 'good to go' anytime. Have done routine maintenance items (spark plugs, seals, boots on steering tie rods... changed brake fluid. Formerly an Austin Healey 3000 driver, love this car! Sound system is outstanding/yes, cassette tape player in dash, Disc in trunk--ok. STILL worth its original price and I got it for 1/8 that. No rattles/ tight convert.body. Amazing. as a pilot/know that one must KEEP UP the maintenance...and it will fly/run forever. HNB

2000 Jaguar XK8 review
I just bought this Coupe with 60,000 miles on the clock. The vehicle had been in a minor accident, but is still in decent condition. He runs like a stallion! I plan on changing out the transmission filter/fluid to keep the transmission shifting smoothly. (I am currently replacing the valve chains/tensioners on April 2nd, 2024). I'll keep working on the interior and plan on replacing the old headlamps with LED units. I also plan on removing (and selling) the rear seats, replacing them with slide bars for extra luggage room. This really is a two-seat, Grand Touring automobile, not a Sports Coupe. Since I have no family (and never will) the XK8 will allow me to travel at 1000+ mile stretches in comfort. The style is impeccable and the engine's smooth performance is pulse-quickening. Since I live in Northwestern Oregon, the convertible wasn't a practical option, so I sought out a Coupe. (I'm happy that I did). Put your money into restoring one of these Grand Touring machines. You'll gain more attention than the Corvette, Mercedes, Audi, Nissan and Porsche owners and you'll enjoy the ride. Come on. You know that you really want one, or you wouldn't be reading this.
