This was my first experience with carmax, and it was amazing. First off, let me say that if you go to carmax at centennial, Las Vegas, ask for Muhammad. This man goes beyond and above for his customers to ensure they get the perfect car for them. He has the patience of a saint. Carmax should definitely look into promoting this guy. The company would really benefit from having someone like him in management. Secondly, the selection of vehicles rivaled other competitors, and their reserve system was a stress relief for us as we felt like we were scrambling to find a car before someone else purchased it. You will have peace of mind knowing that the car you want to see will be there waiting for you, no matter what your work schedule is like. They stay open late which is very helpful. They have a TV set up for kids and a nice woman came and handed us coloring packets and foam car toys for the kids. What a wonderful experience. The transaction itself was completely flawless. STAN handled it perfectly in every way. The most impressive thing about STAN was the way handled uncontrollable things that would pop-up. Another key was how he insisted that I do a pre-purchase inspection with any mechanic to insure I was comfortable with my purchase. I did and was very satisfied with that whole process as well. When I went back to talk to Stan about some general maintenance advice, he was really helpful, and friendly, even though the dealership was really busy at the time. He didn't just overlook me, because our deal was closed. We are looking to purchase two more vehicles within the next few months, and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Honest, great pricing, and extremely helpful. What else can you ask for?
2007 Jaguar XK review
I have two Jaguars. The first a 2001 XK8, I bought in 2015 from the original owner. The 2nd, a 2007 XK, I bought after the original owner traded it in to a dealer in Oregon. I had it shipped to me in Alabama. Both are a similar Pacific Blue, the 07 being Indigo Blue, slightly darker. The 01 has Ivory interior, the 07 has beige. The 01 has quite a bit of recurring maintenance from a host of items that needed redesigning, which was accomplished on the 07. Everything needed was done. The big differences between the two cars is trunk space and cabin space. The 07 Cabin accommodates a taller person where the trunk on the 01 would hold a VW Beetle and easily close. I redesigned the 01 upper shock mounts and rebuilt the mounts with new polyurethane bushings that should outlast me. I have replaced them with OEM 3 times since 2015. That chirping sound you hear is the shock mounts, metal to metal chirping. Anyway, the 01 XK8 is a nice automobile that needs near constant attention. The 07 XK is a Super Luxury GT sports car that is easy to maintain and so far, bulletproof. Nothing that I have driven in it's class compares equally. Everything else has a harsher ride and are regular sports cars. I have owned Corvettes, BMW's, Acura's, Mercedes and Porsche's. None compare. So far, I've had people compliment me on my Miata (the 01) and Corvette (both the 01 & the 07)... Jaguar is a brand of only a few in my location... very rare and no one knows what it is... up close, they just can't read, I guess. The guy was staring at the Jaguar emblem when he called it the best looking Miata he had ever seen. LOL!

2005 Jaguar XK8 review
Two very comfortable seats, convertible and a V8. Perfect mid life crisis car for me. This is a fun little car that fits 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk and gets there quickly.

2012 Jaguar XK review
Got my 12 XK and absolutely love the lines. The wide hips in the rear with growl of the exhaust makes me happy. Absolutely love the car, don't care for no Bluetooth car play, but making due. 83K om the odometer and paid 12 for it, not bad. Will enjoy beefing up suspension, PowerPlant and make this egg plant colored exotic my baby!

2016 Jaguar F-TYPE review
I purchased my 2016 F Type R AWD last December 2022. Since then I have driven about 2000 miles without issue. I test drove everything from 911 to AMG GTS before purchasing the F Type. Lots of AWD HP without fish tailing. Can drive for hours at a time with comfort. Lots of attention, it was a little weird at first. Modification not necessary. I highly recommend.
