2026 Kia Sorento review
We bought our 2026 Kia Sorento SX in Sept. 2025. It is equipped with a 2.5-liter, turbo charged engine. We really liked the exterior look of the Sorento. The interior is nicely appointed and comfortable. The engine produces 280 HP, so there is plenty of power when you need it. We are still getting used to the Dual Clutch transmission. It has different characteristics than automatic transmissions in previous vehicles we have owned. The Sorento is comfortable to drive, but there is a lack of road feel that we had to get used to. The dual use toggle switch that controls the climate system and infotainment system can be confusing. We also find there is excessive wind noise when going faster than 40 MPH. In the first 3000 miles we have driven the Sorento, we have one recall for a software problem, and we experienced a dead battery with no apparent cause. Overall, we like the Sorento, but we are concerned about its long-term reliability.

2026 Kia Sorento review
I absolutely love my new Kia Sorento! It has so many safety features that I actually am saving money on my car insurance with a brand new car! It drives smooth and is just the right size! One feature I didn’t get but would have liked is seat memory but if I don’t let my husband drive, I don’t have to worry about it! Lol 😂 I also wish the head rest were adjustable forward and back. I can’t seem to get my seat comfortable for my back and I’m a bit on the shorter side so the headrest hits a weird spot if I have the seat where I need it for my back. Bad back problems 🙄

Just a note I posted on Reddit concerning dealerships: Almost all of my dealership experiences have been awful. But my latest experience with Spitzer KIA in Cleveland was exactly the opposite. I traveled from Buffalo to look at 2 2024 and 2 2025 Tellurides. I wanted a V6 so 27s were out. All 4 vehicles were extremely clean. I was treated wonderful by a non commission salesman (Andrew). I decided on 1 vehicle, it was a great price to begin with, EX-XLINE, with trailer hitch and wiring, 18k miles, super clean for just about $41k. I was searching on line and a pop-up kept coming up for $500 off a purchase so I grabbed it, and when I presented it, no issues at all, they dropped the price. I flew back a couple days later, they picked me up with no wait. I got a tutorial about all the electronics and got an additional 3000 points in KIA VIP points good at any dealership. They followed up a week later to see if I had any issues. Easily my best dealership experience ever. It's a shame they are to far to travel for anything because I would stay loyal. Alexis the internet liason was really helpful. Spitzer has a bunch of dealerships in Ohio and I believe PA, none in NY.

What a fantastic buying experience from start to finish! I was greeted buy salesman Luis Luna when first entering the dealership. We got right down to business. I told Luis what I was looking for, went on a test drive, and back to the dealership to finalize the transaction. What a great vice at the dealership. Initial oil change and tire rotation appointment went well from the service scheduling to the car intake and finally to the dealership exit. Dealership just completed a major upgrade/renovation of the facility. All public areas are well maintained. Coffee, water and snacks are available. Dealership is located adjacent to newly renovated North Olmsted park. I took advantage of the sunny weather to walk the park paths while the service was being completed. Car was washed. Windshield fluid was topped off which is rarely done these days. Work was completed in about an hour.
