After checking all around for a lightly used Honda or Toyota minivan, I settled on CarMax since they had the ability to transfer several possible cars from nearby stores. I requested a transfer from Birmingham and it arrived earlier than promised. I test drove it, waited a week to make a final decision and made the purchase. I recently visited Scott Kia of Springfield and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. My first interaction was with Anthony Jordan in Vehicle Maintenance, who went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot an issue with my sunroof, during some of the rainiest days of the month, no less. He not only worked to find a solution but also gave me honest advice about considering a trade-in and exploring a lease option. I also want to recognize Lauren Eakin from the Lead Generation team for her clear and consistent communication leading up to my visit. But by far, the best part of my experience was working with Steve Hill, my Dealer Representative. Steve was transparent, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel like I was being "sold" on anything. I came in very hesitant (I haven’t had a car payment in over five years) but Steve made me feel great about my decision and genuinely excited about this next step with Kia. John Agavino, the Finance Manager, was a class act. He made the entire process seamless and even helped me arrange for a copy of my trade-in vehicle’s title, allowing me to take the new leased car home the same day. He was personable, patient, and incredibly helpful. Paul Sargent and Steve LaMonaca, from Management, were also excellent and checked in throughout the process to make sure everything was going smoothly. I originally came in just to browse and ended up leaving with a new car! This isn’t my first time at Scott Kia. I purchased my 2015 Optima there brand new with 0 miles, had it serviced there even after the warranty expired, and finally traded it in at 84k miles. The staff has always been friendly, honest, and helpful. They turned something I typically dread, buying or leasing a car, into a genuinely enjoyable experience. This dealership is truly one of a kind.
