2013 Lexus ES 300h review
We bought the 300h used with 23000 miles on it and have had an excellent reliable and fun car. It is now our daughters car and see won’t give it back to her mother. It is still great looking and in excellent shape. Looking to get at least 75000 more miles out of this car if not more. Still averaging 35 mph.

Ideal Cars review
This is my second purchase from Ideal. Found a 2010 Ford Explorer on their website. It was still in the process of title being passed to them. Waited and checked back with them 2 weeks later. I was able to get a chance to drive it and took it on the freeway. This time I requested financing which they carried out quickly and provided me with a very low finance rate. Yes, they did add for putting the auto in "ready" condition. My auto had just come out of auction which required cleaning and checking to make sure it was servisable. The staff handled all the paperwork and licensing which saved me time. Thanks to everyone at Ideal for a very good Explorer.
2013 Lexus ES 300h review
I have a 2013 Lexus ES 300h Ultra Luxury. I bought it six years ago in 2016 with 66,000 miles on it. It just turned 190,000 miles. No problems and It still has the original Hybrid Battery. What a great car! This year I put some 2022 ES F Sport rims on it. The rims are black like my car. I still get complements on my car and people can’t believe the that it’s 2013 with nearly 200,000 miles on it. I sometimes think about getting a new car, but this car is so great, I can’t let it go. Also the mileage is great. With a 17.2 gallon tank and 40 mpg equals 688 miles of range! The car came with ugly rims and skinny tires. Since I changed the tires and rims, the handling has greatly improved! Great car!

Thrifty Car Sales review
I had such a great experience at Thrifty Car Sales Sacramento! Joshua Loy went above and beyond to help me find the ideal car. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole process stress-free. The team was welcoming and professional, and I never felt pressured at any point. Thanks to Joshua, I was able to drive off in the perfect car for my needs and budget. I highly recommend Thrifty Car Sales Sacramento if you’re looking for a smooth and honest car-buying experience!
2013 Lexus ES 300h review
Lexus luxury, capacious interior room, Toyota reliability and longevity, 'normal car' performance, and 40 mpg!! Enjoyed every minute of ownership and had intended to drive it forever. Then we rearranged our 'fleet ' of three cars down to two, and we both wanted AWD SUVs for their overall day-to-day practicality. The hybrid battery pack compromises what is still a useable trunk but it can't compete with a SUV. And the very powerful electric motor in the car actually can easily spin the tires in rain and especially snow. That wasn’t a problem when we had a ‘spare’ AWD car, but not now. The car has ample power under all driving situations but can sip gas when driven attentively. I never used ‘ECO’ mode, usually had AC on, and seldom drove with the proverbial ‘egg’ under my right foot and still saw 32-36 mpg in non-highway driving. On the highway at 70 mph I actually saw a 60 mile run at 44 mpg!! ‘Sport’ mode sharpens the acceleration and steering a LOT, but will cost you about 4 mpg, which still leaves you with a very efficient car. This was the first year of the revamped ES model and Lexus made it much more ‘European’ with regard to its chassis dynamics. It handles and rides more like a 5-series BMW, of which I’ve owned two. But it is engineered and built by the world’s #1 company when it comes to robust design and zero-defect manufacturing. We would definitely have kept this beautiful car if we didn’t have to face the threat of snow or, if we still had that back-up AWD vehicle. It’s nicely styled, has a gorgeous interior (better than the new ES IMHO) and with regular maintenance should last for 200+k miles and with minimal annual maintenance costs.

2013 Lexus ES 300h review
I bought it with 83k miles for my wife a couple of days ago. She loves how comfortable it is, especially the seats, and the Mark Levinson stereo and the 31 to 32 mpg so far in mixed driving. I'm not crazy about the mouse like pad for the navigation, etc. controls, but she seems to be getting it some what. Consumer Reports' Reliability scores for this vehicle are mostly perfect, other than the electronics. The left outside mirror was not working when we test drove it, but the dealer had it fixed before we took ownership of it. It seems to have enough power for her, as she keeps it in Normal mode (vs Eco or Sport).
