I maintain this car at the local Lexus dealership. The performance tires last about 25,000 miles and it does require premium fuel. It’s a 6-cylinder with plenty of power and has a sporty feel. Mine’s AT with paddle shift (which we never use). No real issues, although the carbon cleaning that was recommended was a $250 surprise. Still a solid, dependable and enjoyable car.

Simple maintenance, super reliable. incredibly comfortable, and defiantly has a wow factor in Star-fire white. Everything in the car is perfectly placed. I can reach everything like switches and buttons without having to look for them. The ability to set the AC, wipers and cruise control and just drive in comfort is hard to place a value on. Defiantly looks good when valetted at the club, and they don't even know how good the gas mileage is. lol.

This car looks and feels like a high dollar sports car, but is practical and comfortable at the same time. it incorporates technology to make it a blast to drive and has all the safety features. Plus the quality you expect from Lexus.

My biggest gripe with the car is it does not have the performance of my previous 2001 IS300. Lexus could have used a more performance oriented engine. Otherwise, very reliable, trouble free, and handles very well on the road.

About 25mpg average. The exterior is just so attractive to me. The user interface control knob in the center console is interesting, but not troublesome. Surprising amount of trunk space!

I have owned this car for just under two years now. Unbelievably reliable, very comfortable on the open road for both myself and my wife who are in our late 50s, and a pure joy to drive. I was fortunate enough to find this car when it was five years old and only had 20,000 miles on it so it was literally brand new, there were not even xxx marks in the seats when I bought it. For those of you living in Southern California, the Los Angeles area in particular, I would suggest going to Longo Lexus. Just the warranties and the service package that came with the car alone made it hard to walk away, oh yes and by the way, the car rocks. This is actually the sixth Toyota/Lexus product both my wife and I have bought in the Last 5 Years. We will be driving these forever since you can get three hundred thousand plus miles out of a Lexus or Toyota product if properly cared for. I have driven 2 different BMWs and also a Mercedes Benz, and will never drive a German car again as long as Lexus and Toyota are making the value and reliability type of cars they have made for years.

Bought it used , so far so good . I took it on a 2000 mile run , better than average , two other owners , 165000 miles , well maintained by previous owners . CA , AZ , New Mexico run in heat , no problems so far .

Hi, i own a Is250 for almost 6 months now and after having this car for a period of almost 6 months i feel like i owe this review to this particular piece of art, i bought this car used as my first car and i had few other options that i was particularly interested in such as the 09 Accord and a 05 Gs350, while buying the car i wanted something quick, comfortable, good on gas and Ofcourse reliable and i vouch that this car has checked all the boxes i bought the car with over 400k KM driven i’ve driven this car allot even driving more than 600-700KM in a day, the last owner didn’t do a good care of the exterior and interior but he indeed took a decent care of the mechanical side of the car so far after driving more than 40k KM in just 6 months the only thing i spend was on a battery and a oil change thats all! Been super reliable girls like it and its a quick car truly a amazing vehicle to own 100% recommended

The car is incredibly reliable, great gas mileage, fun to drive . The body is sporty and the ride is safe in sharp turns or highway. Great car overall.

By far the best value for my money. It is solidly built, quiet, and smooth. The ride is like a Lexus and it handles very well. It has plenty of technology and comfortable seating. I love this vehicle but am no longer in need of it.

Been going to Lexus of Pleasanton in CA since 2001 with different vehicles. Just had service done today and had a great experience with Forrest Yee service advisor. He was very communicative, prompt response and delivered Lexus quality service. Forrest reminded me why I keep buying a Lexus, excellent customer service.

Selling my car was difficult in many ways physically and emotionally. Mark and the team not only handled everything professionally but took the extra steps to help out my family in arranging everyhting that needed to be done shows their true colors. I bought mine used a few months ago with it having 196k miles and some moderate exterior and interior damage for under 5k. I am using it as a project car build because it looks great and is really reliable. The gas prices might be a struggle though as it requires 93 premium making it a bit pricey to fill up. The previous owner of my car was not the best at keeping it in good shape and never logged any modifications or replacements so who knows what's happened to it. As of now the only main issues with my specific car has to do with the front axle and my brakes. My axle is making a vibration due to the previous owners lack of care for the vehicle as both the cv boots on the front are busted which has caused a slow leak which has just ruined my axle. Then the brakes are just old and need to be replaced. I also recommend not letting the car sit for too long without driving as my specific car and a few others I've heard from have a battery draining issue but if you drive the car regularly there should be no issue. Parts are very easy to acquire for this car and the manufacturing process was clearly done with care. If you can find one in good condition I suggest buying it.

In 2008, my folks bought a new Chrysler Pacifica Limited. The car sales man was great. He knew all about the car and showed us everything about it. The dealership it's self is beautiful and super clean. They also have AWESOME cars inside in which you can sit and mess around in. The overall rating is a 4 BECAUSE, it is so hard to get a hold of these guys to take the car in. We've called 4 or 5 times to only leave messages that have never been responded to, so we are planning on just going there whether they want us to or not!

I really enjoy owning this car. I have had car issues with all of my previous cars, but the IS250 seems to show its reliability if you put in quality parts versus using cheap offbrand parts.

It?s a reliable sports car with easy access engine compartment to work on and add after market parts too plus it has a nice xxx
