Never a "have to have it" kind of car guy until I saw, researched and drove this car. It's a solid, powerful, and super slick cabriolet that only catches the eye of the passionate. It has a beautiful saddle leather interior with gorgeous wood details and a really good stereo that rivals todays' car stereos. It has strong and silent 4.3 V8 that is top of the list reliable. I bought my 2002 in 2023 and fixed a few things with the audio system and is now a low-mile like-new car. I love driving it when I can and will til I can't drive anymore.

I purchased a 2002 SC430, black on black, with only 49,000 miles on it. Love everything about the car, it's looks, how it drives. I keep it in ECT Power mode to get that bit more impooh when I hit the accelerator. Since it's a Lexus, I'm not worried about reliability and only having to do basic maintenance. The only major upgrade to the car I've done is new tires and a rearview camera. Minor upgrades have been bluetooth and some new lighting.

I previously owned a Nissan late model 370Z. My wife stressed about riding in it even when driven with her anxieties in mind. Like many other reviews, I had all struts replaced, new timing belt and water pump and new tires (got run flats but regular pneumatic smoother). Engine and tranny runs smooth as silk. A/C is ice cold. Mileage was 145,000, no accidents. Interior is extremely clean with white leather seats. In four months ownership, I have had several inquisitors ask about the car. Complements too. Drive this for the design beauty, quality ride and sound mechanical attributes. I don’t put much value in calls for classic status, just as I doubt Beanie Babies value. Own it for your personal satisfaction.
