Used 2024 Mazda CX-90 for sale near Carrboro, NC

I went to this location after totaling my brand new car and I was in need of a used car. I went in and enjoyed the process from start to finish. After meeting with a salesman for a little bit, I was able to walk around and check out the lot without someone hovering over my shoulder. Once I decided on my choice, all of the paperwork from start to finish was run right in front of me without any disappearing to a back room or talking to the manager. When I am in need of another used vehicle, this will definitely be my first stop!!

Purchased the PHEV a little over 1 year ago and put 12K+ miles on it so far, and I like it a lot. Its stylish, quiet and great on gas. I consistently get over 70+ MPG around town and 35+MPG on longer trips. However, I *strongly recommend* the L2 charger as it cuts charging time down to 2.5 hour with 29 miles range. Without it, the L1 charger takes forever. I went with a 30W auto splitter on my dryer plug for under $140 on Amazon. Its amazing! However, even if you switch to gas, the Hybrid system averages 26 MPG with standard driving. My only complaint so far is the connection to Google/Apple play sometimes drops for seemingly no reason 1-2 times a week and the reactive driving can be touchy. Overall, very reliable and fun to drive. I highly recommend.

It’s been such a pleasure to own and drive the cx90! My only complaint is I wish it got better gas mileage. The AWD works very well, the inline 6 is more than enough power to drive the vehicle fully loaded with luggage and 6 passengers for 4 hour trips. Overall it’s been an excellent vehicle to own a drive. Driving is believing!

The facilities are always impeccably clean. This means that they pay attention to detail. The service manager was careful to explain all aspects of this service ahead of time and reviewed them again when I paid for it. A couple of things came up during the service that were communicated to me before these were repaired.

Recently leased a 2024 Mazda CX-90 3.3 I6 Turbo Premium Plus. Love the vehicle so far. Considered a PHEV with huge discounts but was able to get a nicer 2024 I6 for around the same price, and it’s a much better vehicle. Love the interior and the styling. Drives great. No complaints. Highly recommend.

Taylor Lynch made my wife me feel comfortable when searching for a good used Honda. He did not attack us like wolves do in the brand name dealerships . If you're thinking about the PHEV version of this car, here's my take on it from personal experience: Pros: Quiet Ride: It's super quiet, which is great. Nice Interior: The inside feels fancy and comfortable. Fun to Drive: It handles well and is enjoyable on the road. Middle Row Seats: The bucket seats are comfy and make extra space for stuff. Cons: Short Electric Range: Even though they say it can go 26 miles on electric, I mostly get just 20 miles. And it takes forever (like 13 hours) to charge, sometimes not even fully. The 495 miles of highway that Mazda states seems very lofty and exaggerated Quick to Lose Charge: The battery drains faster than you'd expect. Slow Acceleration: It doesn't pick up speed as quickly as you'd think because of some lag. Wireless Charging Issues: The wireless charger is hit or miss and really slow. Sensor Problems: The car sensors aren't always right. They've mistakenly warned me of cars ahead when there weren't any, which is annoying. Infotainment System: If you've used Mazda systems before, you know they can be a pain. Simple stuff like pausing music or connecting your phone can be frustrating. And you need the most expensive version to get a touchscreen. Final Thoughts: I'm not here to bash the CX90-PHEV. Just want to share what I've found for anyone thinking about getting one. If you're considering it, maybe look into leasing to take advantage of any credits. Overall, it's not a bad car when things work.

I'm compelled to share my good experience at this Carmax dealership. I ordered my car from their Fayetteville store with a free transfer. They kept me informed through text and email of the transfer status. I could have waited for a call but since I knew it arrived I called to schedule a test drive. I had applied online for financing and was approved with little detail but when I called to see if they would transfer to Fayetteville they asked similar questions and got the finalized approval. The salesman on the phone had an instant approval with 3 term options and the corresponding interest rate. He told me what the payment would be. In the end the payment was exactly as they quoted by phone. I expected to be in and out but spent 4 hours there. That probably wasn't normal though. The salesman Bob and I talked too much and he messed up our address in the computer. It happens. The other slowdown was the slight difference between the drivers license name and the credit app name. Oddly enough those small mistakes cost us an extra hour and a half. It happens. Meanwhile during the test drive I noticed a vibration on the highway over 60mph. They decided to have it looked at while we were there and rebalance the tires as well as resurfacing the front rotors. I was honestly surprised that they did the rotors. I didnt mention anything about them. I thought it was just the tires. In the end the vehicle took longer than the purchase process. It was quite an operation they had. They've really streamlined their processes. The financing, trade-in process, transfer process, detailing process, service process etc. Were really wild to see in action. The things I loved: The approval and disclosure process of financing. The transfer process. The minimization of paperwork. The teamwork process of communication. The dealership itself. The cars are all open to look in and sit in without a need for a salesman to get keys. No need for proof of income with fair to less than fair credit. Free coffee and bottled water. Fixing issues on the car while we complete the purchase and paperwork. The cons: small mistakes made very long wait. I'm quicker than them at moving the process forward. No negotiation price is a little high. Tips: as with everything in life do your due diligence. Inspect the car thoroughly. Utilize their carfax and recall information. Consider selling your car elsewhere for more money if you paid off your trade. Push along the process if you want it to go faster. Dont buy their gap insurance. Its overpriced and negates a good deal. Consider an outside warranty company for a better price. Realize a well placed call will hurry the process and verify what one person told you as being true. Place a hold on a vehicle you like for 7 days for free. Apply online to streamline the process.

Metric has some top of the line cars on their lot.I did my research through CarMax and choose to get the Lexus from Metric, and was approved in just a little time. The car was beautiful, clean , low mileage, and had a really awesome price tag. I would send my friends and family to buy a car from Metric. Their customer services was great and very professional. The first time I bought a car (not from CarMax) it was a terrible experience and I was stuck with a hunk of junk that was worth far less than what I owed. CarMax made me an amazing offer for it, and helped me pick a the SUV of my dreams that was within my means! Affordable, beautiful quality, it looks and smells BRAND NEW - no one would ever suspect it was used!! The buying process was so simple and quick. Because he did not try to upsell us, but rather did his best to educate us on what would work well, (coming in on his day-off to finalize the deal), I must commend Carmax and its associates for providing a memorable experience. Also, I was thankful that Dashau helped expedite the process when we completed the paperwork; what a breeze!
