This is both a driver's car, and a family car. You can switch from the two by simply simply short shifting and stepping on the gas. This car is a blast to drive, and it remains economical as well. After driving it for years, I have nothing bad to say about it, or Mazda as a company.

The car is by far the best bang for your buck in this class of car. Its spacious, stylish, powerful and relatively inexpensive. The engines are extremely reliable and ive owned two mazdaspeed 3s and one mazdaspeed 6.

A great balance of performance and value. Good acceleration and handling. The 6-speed manual transmission is smooth and solid. It is reasonably priced, reasonable to insure, and gets good gas mileage. There's a decent amount of passenger room for a car its size. The only complaint that I have is that I think the space allocated for the driver is a little tight.

Best value for the money. Ride is harsh, just like I like it. Road noise makes communicating with passengers difficult, which is also how I like it. Reliability has been excellent. Car is 10 years old and I’ve never had to replace a light bulb!

When it comes to the Mazda speed 3s. The car is a very powerful, yet very stylish and beautiful design in and out. With the sporty shape and interior looking like a jet cabin. The car is worth the money. With its turbo and 263 horsepower turbo engine the car delivers what a consumer might want for a sports car for the amount of money they offer. Now with the sports car not in production Any more, it sure is a great car to have and very hard to find. Very fun to drive and customize yo anyone needs. The car doesn't waste time on the track or on the road.

I owened this vehicle for 8 years and never had any issues with it asside from replacing shocks. Just regural oil changes and regular maintenance.

This car is awesome! I drive it every single day and every time I drive it I fall in love again. Really fast care especially if you add some mods, and very reliable. Would recommend it to everyone.

Mike Wynne at Capitol Mazda was the 1st of 3 dealerships in the area to call back. The offer had to be good enough to persuade me to make the 3 1/2 hour drive. The internet price at Capitol Mazda was already reduced by $1600 off MSRP. Right off the bat, Mike said that there was an additional internet discount of $1000…so I didn’t have to do any haggling. I did a Google search of my 9-year old trade-in estimated at $7800-8300; Mike offered $1700 more than the higher end of the Google trade-in value. The car inspection showed some previously known repairs needed but he still gave the original trade-in offer. He also gave honest advice about using navigation on my iPhone through Apple Car Play rather than buying the Mazda navigation sim card.

This is a great car for anyone who enjoys driving on and off the track. Big enough to take the family anywhere but still small and nibble at the same time. Only true downside is that its not all wheel drive.

This is a great car. I bought it new in 2011 and still have it in late 2019. 75K on it with zero major issues. Very reliable and I drive the heck out of this thing. I have no idea why Mazda stopped development on this platform. I've recently started looking at newer cars just because. But, what I have now is in many ways better than what is on the market today. I'm keeping it!!

Always wanted to own this car - I have a pristine example of why they are so great! Its the subaru wrx/sti beater! No AWD - so what! I have limited slip front end, pulls hard, never got stuck in snow, confident driving and good on gas. Interior is fun but upscale, engine is great, why did Mazda stop producing? I would recommend this vehicle to anyone wanting a fast fun and practical car without breaking the bank!

For the price of the vehicle it's very fast , although it's a bit pricy to own one because it takes only premium gas it's still a fun little power house

I owned my Speed3 for over 3 years. It was a lot of fun to drive. The power/value is almost unmatched. When compared to the GTI and Focus ST, I felt the Speed3 was superior to them. The interior had many features not included in most cars of that year and class.

This car is everything you could want from a compact hatchback. 1. It's FAST - with minor modifications and a tune, it's beating most cars on the street 2. Do your research before modding - people will complain about it breaking down...that's because they don't know how to take care of a Mazdaspeed plain and simple 3. People have had their cars tuned for 100k + and reliable as a camry 4. SO much space

Very comfortable suspension, excellent gas mileage even with the turbo, lots of power on tap, and the hatchback hauls everything!! 98,000 and have only done brakes, and tires, oil changes. Super Reliable!
