As one might expect, the handling is excellent as is the 9k rpm roar of the engine. Torque lacks low down, but is quickly forgotten. Mileage is around 18-20 and with a small fuel tank, you fill up often. Sound system is great, but lacks factory connection for a smart phone. Leather feels and looks incredible. A/C gives out after about 1.5hrs on hot summer days. Reliable all the way up to 90k miles when the radiator went out shortly after a check engine light came on. Definitely suggest buying the manual as the lost horsepower will ruin the car in an automatic. Overall very fun car, you will enjoy if that is the intent. A small trunk with awkward opening, little back seat space, and low ride height will make this impractical for those with kids or who need to make grocery runs comfortably.
This car is extremely fun to drive and will last a long time as long as its maintained properly. You have to let it warm up and make sure to keep a check on the oil level, and if you do this car will reward you with alot of fun driving it.
Just bought a car from Best Auto of Manassas , sales person Shala was very knowledgeable and helped me choose a right vehicle for me, she is awesome, she is very professional,

I owned this car for 2.5 years, it was my daily driver. In the beginning I have horrible issues with the car. It was a major source of stress and disappointment considering when I got it in late 2015 it only had 30,000 miles on it. It required replacing many mechanical components including putting in a factory new motor. After 6 months of it being unreliable and a huge expense it was then worked well. The handling was amazing but the acceleration was lacking. Although it was a beautiful car with a great sound system and the Nordic green paint with metal flake would turn heads. I now drive a new Cadillac SRX and am much happier.
Oh my. What a wonderful experience! Shane B. and Abby F. were nothing short of amazing. I had no idea what a wonderful dealership Willet Honda in Morrow is. I literally was financed and my new CRV was detailed in about an hour and a half . Even the gentleman in charge of the detail shop was high fiving me. Trust me folks, look no further. I'm a Willet Honda customer for life.

Learn about the Rotory engine before buying! Not your average car. It’s a beautiful car, pretty interior, loaded for a sports car. Now for the issues.... The check engine light stayed on, more than it was off. Dashboard cracked exactly where airbag was located, rear speakers went out, chargers went out, $700 sylonoid replacement, had to change catalytic converter several times, transmission: second gear slipping, engine compression failing!! This car had 95,000 miles and was garage kept, with all maintenance performed regularly. Apparently many other RX8 owners had all of the same problems. No more Mazda’s for this girl!
I had two issues with the car I was purchasing one cosmetic and the other a part that wasnt working right, I made it known to the sales man before I started with the process but they only choose to fix the part regardless of the fact that the car was priced $800 above the recommended cars.com price. Other than that the process was pleasant.

I use to own BMW Z4's and my attorney talked me into trying one. The only thing the Bimmer has over the RX is it's a Convertible, but for the money I'll keep the RX. My first one was a Sport, but I needed better seats, now I own the GT. Wish they were still importing, great cars.
Fantasic people here willing to get down and work with you to get the best deal possible on the car of your choice great service
2 words ENGINE REPLACEMENT/REBUILD

The engine in my Mazda Rx-8 started losing compression at <100k miles. After doing research (that I wish I had done PRIOR to buying this car) I found that it is EXTREMELY COMMON for Rx-8's to need new engines OR an engine rebuild fairly often. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
My car blew a rod approximately a week ago, so I needed a new car ASAP. I spent 5-6 hours perusing various car lots to no avail. I was exhausted, to say the least. Finally decided to drive to Deep Park because of their tremendous selection of cars. Met Marcus and I could tell right away that he wasn't interested in selling me something that I just "kindof" liked-to make a deal and a quick buck. He was very patient, letting me test drive a couple of cars, even one car numerous times. I decided on a Mazda, purchased it and drove home. When I got home, I quickly realized that I made the wrong decision, and I wanted another car I was looking at on the lot- a Volkswagen Eos. Marcus and his team allowed me to return the Mazda and trade it for the Volkswagen- no problem!!! If you are looking for a dealership that's only goal is to make the customer truly happy, you found it!

The RX-8 is truly a car like no other. The rotary engine and the handling are something everyone should experience. It's a fun car, and I'm only taking about the manual, the automatic is not as exciting, sorry. It's not a Dodge Viper or Challenger and the car is not without some TLC and babying, as this car requires some maintenance and patience. In the end, what you will get it is a great car that wants to be red-lined, and all-in-all, cheaper to own than some of the sportier rides out there! Have fun while you can in the mobile man-cave!
Good service but a little pricey. Albert Cortez took good care of me when I called to make an appointment. Only a LOF but work was done in a reasonable amount of time.
More fun than my 350Z!

This is not an every day car! I used to own a Nissan 350Z. The RX8 R3 is a much more fun car to drive! This car is definitely made for back road driving; the Recaro seats are form fitted to hold you in, it has super responsive steering and stiff suspension to hug the curves. The interior styling is very clean, not alot of cluttered buttons. This all combines to make a fun ride. I don't recommend this car for long trips as it's made to be fast, not comfortable. But...it is very fast!!

This is a really fun car to drive. The rotary 6 speed engine winds out with a beautiful sports car sound. It corners like no other I've driven and you feel pasted in your bucket seat when you take a corner at speed! Love this car!
It's a great car it gets the lady's so that's a plus I love how it takes corners at high speeds I wished the oil filter was under it because I like to do my oil changes instead of taking it to a mechanic
On 8-15-17, my son purchased a used 2002 Toyota 4 Runner at C.A.R.S. Pompano Beach. Our sales person was Al, with whom I had spoken to on the phone from my home in Pennsylvania. Al was most helpful, and gave us a good deal on the purchase. My son had a great experience and we both felt that we were dealing with a very honest dealership. My son and I both agreed that the process from beginning to end with my phone calls to Al, to test driving, to negotiating, to the paperwork through to the end result of the purchase were more than excellent. My son is thrilled with the car and we both thank you so much for a great experience!

Great car, fun to drive, very stylish, and has the feeling of a much more powerful car due to its light weight and the aerodynamics
I think this car is ideal for an adult, couple or couple with kids. The front seats have enough space for a taller person, while the backseat has bucket seats with a cup holder divider. The bucket seats in the back make it a good car for younger kids so they won't fight about who sits in the middle.
Jason was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. Ultimately, I didn't purchase here but I liked working with Jason.
Quick and Fast

I bought my 2008 Mazda RX-8 as a leftover in '09. I loved the car, owning it for 3 1/2 years. THe car was quick and fast and hugged turns and curves with ease. The 0 to 60 actually improved slightly over time as the car was being "broken in."The cons are the gas mileage, which is actually worse than advertised (high revving is suggested for the car, and that, in turn reduces the gas mileage) and checking (and filling if needed) the oil between every two or three fill-ups.
I put on 43k on this car and loved every minute I drove it. The only reason I traded it in was becuase of the room in the back seat....my three kids were getting older and growing and fitting them in there was becoming problematic (the 4 seats inside was a good reason hang out with the kids and leave the wife at home to clean the house).
I loved the car and the rotary engine. This is technically a sports car, so if it is wanted by you, gas consumption really should be a primary concern.. Hopefully when the economy improves and my kids are full grown the rotary engine will be back in production so I can buy another one!
