2019 Ford F-150 review

2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I've been driving for 43 years now and have owned an array of different vehicles, however I've never been financially fortunate to purchase a luxury model - until now! I was looking for a mid size vehicle that would check many boxes for my snowy Michigan commutes, along with distant travel comfort to and from my cabin and some towing capacity. I have only had this for roughly 1500 miles and wow.. My first impression was luxury. So many base options included in a mid sized and mid priced SUV that pleasantly surprised me. Secondly was the ride quality. Both smooth and quiet and handling. I've read other reviews discussing power inadequacy, but not at all. Plenty of passing and get tup to speed power. Next was the snow. I have Michelin defender tires and wow - what have I been missing? The snow 4x4 duaratac features combined with these tires make this a beast in the snow, slush and rain. It definitely gives me a much more safety reassurance while driving in these conditions. I have not tried the towing yet and have not had any "reliable" issues to report, but we are very fortunate with our pick and one very capable snow commuter.

What a difference the experience purchasing this truck from you was compared to the idiocy we experienced trying to purchase a vehicle from the largest dealership in the state! It was a vehicle we really wanted, but we did NOT purchase from that other place, nor will we. For all of the help we didn't receive from that salesman, they might as well sell cars at a kiosk. I was very happy with you for the assistance we received with the options we included (warranty and paint/interior protection). You were willing to try to save us money where you could. At the other dealership, no such service. It is what it is, take it or leave it. We left it. And your "after the sales" help was greatly appreciated. 2022 RAM 1500 review
Purchased in 2023, new. Had to go back one year to find one without e-torque. Test drove & didn't like it. Right now I have 30,000 trouble free miles on it. I just hope my luck with that last. I have been a GM owner all my life, with two Fords threw in which didn't impress mr at all. I was dissatisfied with my 2010 GMC so I decided to try Ram. I bought a 2017 Bighorn with the 3.6 V6 & was totally happy. 70,000 trouble free miles. I planned on keeping that truck much longer, but, at my age, decided to give it one more shot, so i bought the 2022 with the 5.7 V8. Didn't need the xtra power but decided I'd go for broke. I'm 82, so I'm planning this to be my last truck. I have owned pickups only since 1967, never had any use for a car.

2020 Cadillac XT5 review
I purchased the 2020 Cadillac XT5 midsize crossover based on the stylish looks, comfortable ride and optional V6 engine which takes regular gas. The panoramic sunroof, electronic precision shifter and interior design adds to the overall driving experience. The ride is good, but there is more road noise than expected probably due to no under carriage engine shield which makes the cabin not as isolated as it could be. Also there should be as standard equipment a rear mirror camera due to poor visibility. It appears many used Cadillac XT5 have some minor rear damage when checking the Carfax report.

2025 RAM 1500 review
2026 Limited with Hemi. When you accelerate it sounds and feels like a warm buzz in your belly. It isn't a street racer, but it still goes like xxxx. They are getting rid of the eTorque in 2027, but who cares: it is fully covered until 2036. The 5.7 is the most reliable engine they ever made, and 19 mpg overall is pretty good milage. The Limited ride is so smooth it feels like it floats. The 1/4-3/4 rear bed-door and ram boxes add convenience for all sorts of things. It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. It is a luxury ride.

2024 RAM 2500 review
I bought this truck used from the dealer. It was used as a rental and had 49,000 miles. The interior was like new. The exterior had normal wear as a truck would. The dealer did paint touch-ups for me, which was extremely nice of them. We had been working together for months to get me into the right truck. The first week I had it, I drove it a few hundred miles over the weekend to pick up my 30-ft travel trailer, and it pulled it home with no issues. Great power, everything worked as it should with no problems whatsoever. It is still working and running great. No matter what vehicle you buy, used or brand-new, it's not perfect. Sometimes you get lucky. I have had vehicles that are lemons, and one like my Ford Explorer Sport that ran great for over 20 years. Hopefully, this RAM will do the same.

2025 Ford Mustang review
I’ve owned my Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible for a while now, and it completely shatters the old stereotype that a Mustang needs a V8 to be a "real" sports car. It is the perfect platform for someone who wants open-air fun without sacrificing premium comfort, daily drivability, or cutting-edge technology. The stock EcoBoost engine is already incredibly punchy, but the platform reacts beautifully to the right modifications. Adding the Ford Performance Calibration—which ups the output to a serious 350 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque—along with a Mishimoto intercooler completely wakes the car up. To be honest, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory if Ford wasn't so worried about tuning it down just to keep it 87-octane compatible. Running it on premium fuel with this calibration gives you massive low-end torque, immediate throttle response around town, and a relentless pull on the highway. Opting for the Premium trim is a must. The interior materials are a massive step up, making the cabin feel like a high-end grand tourer. I am especially happy with the tech in this car. I absolutely love the giant digital screen layout. While some Mustang purists don't like it and prefer old-school physical gauges, I am someone who always embraces new technology. Sitting in the driver's seat makes me feel like I am in an airplane cockpit. Features like the active cruise control work excellently on longer drives. The only thing I wish Ford had included in this tech package is a Head-Up Display (HUD). Because it's a convertible, you do have to deal with open-air road noise, and while the factory B&O sound system is decent, to me it was really lacking—especially with the top down. Fortunately, the platform is incredibly rewarding if you like to customize, so I upgraded the factory audio to a custom, high-end 3-way active system while retaining the stock head unit. Now, even with the top down on the highway, the audio clarity is absolutely incredible. 2020 Jeep Wrangler review
Bought my used 2 door at about a year old, with 17,000 miles. Had a couple issues initially: passenger seat got stuck, and airbag light was on. But once I had those fixed, the car has been completely reliable. And I found out that the 2 problems were related. So really it was only 1 problem. The stuck seat has impacted the air bag sensor or something. Loads of fun driving this thing through the snow. 1 foot, 2 feet. Fluffy, or packed by the snow plow. It didn’t matter. Shift it into 4wd and point it where you want it to go. It just went over all of it, and without any drama. Nice and slow. No need for momentum. It just went right through the snow . Can’t wait to take it off road with some friends. As for everyday driving, I love it. You just have to know what you’re getting into. It’s not designed to be a comfortable or sporty car. It’s loud, rather uncomfortable on the bumps, the 2 liter engine sounds like a dish washer, etc. But, those are also all the quirks I love about it. It’s not pretending to be something it’s not. I would’ve gotten the manual roll down windows if I had the choice. It’s just the opposite of my other car, a Macan turbo. It’s just a good old fashioned, honest vehicle. The engine and transmission combo make for a pretty quick team. I’d say 0-60 in about 6 seconds. That’s pretty xxxx quick for a 4000 pound truck designed to go off road. Rarely do I push it that fast of course. I like to drive nice and slow in this car. This is my car to go slow and smell all the roses. I love it. I’m averaging just under 20 mpg driving mostly in NYC. Not bad. Best mpg I’ve had from all my suvs. The hardtop only takes 10 minutes to take off. But it’s still a pain in the xxx. It’s definitely a 2 person job. And then there the issue of where to store this big thing. It’s not like NYC houses have big garages. We’ll see how often I take it off once the summer comes around.

2025 Ford F-150 review
I purchased a new 2025 XLT powerboost about a month ago. Got around 1500 miles on it. The overall performance of the truck is awesome. Its a good looking truck. I have added tint windows, hard bed cover and I am getting the upgraded leather package for it as well. The gas mileage is great and with hybrid it gets even better. The handling is good. The stop & go is also great. I went from a 2020 Nissan Titan to this F150 and must say I am impressed overall with the truck. I happy about the warranty that ford provided and look to maybe get the extended warranty when the time comes.

2025 Subaru Outback review

2020 Ford F-150 review
I was searching for a specific vehicle and I found a few on cars.com. 2020 F-150 Super Cab 2.7L Ecoboost, 10 speed transmission. At first I was concerned since I've never had a truck with a small V6. I was looking for good HP and good MPG. I liked the sporty trim STX look. Great acceleration and great MPG. Much better than my previous 2006 F-150 5.4L, which was a great truck, but it was time for a change. I do recommend this vehicle if you want MPG, power, and great towing capacity.
