I got my used 2006 Mercury Premier Mountaineer V8 that had 262,410 miles on it, I'm at 336,710 now, years later, bought her I 2020, I'm in 2025 now, she's still going as strong as any mustang it feels, with minor repair needed in the near future, like a fuel pressure sensor and new struts. Amazing vehicle! I've gone places only jeeps would go, pulled double axles trailers, even drove for 20 hours to the Pacific Northwest, definitely a vehicle I would recommend, if you want something reliable for years to come!

This vehicle was originally rated at 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. I get 16 mpg in the city and 22 to 23 mpg on the highway in the summer and 20 to 21 in the winter. I have 243,000 miles on this vehicle. Drawback at this time is probable short in the wiring in which the drivers power seat will sometimes go back unexpectedly. Also excessive rust below door entry points. Tows very well(22’ camper)

This truck has lasted me a long time. I’m just looking for something smaller. Motor runs great. Just needs a new shift solinoid. The exterior is a maroon color. And this inside is a tan color.

So I just bought a used 2010 Mercury Mountaineer, with a restored salvage title. Typically I do not buy vehicles that don’t have a clean title. Obviously this vehicle was in an accident, and restored. I test drove the vehicle twice before deciding to buy it. I have to say there are a few quirks I have to work out of the system, but the engine and transmission is solid! With just over 100k miles this vehicle is by far one of the cleanest vehicles I have ever bought used, inside and out. I upgraded from an 03 Ford Ranger that had the 2.3L engine 5 speed manual. I wanted something automatic and with more HP. The Mountaineer doesn’t disappoint. For $4,500 I feel this vehicle was a smart purchase even if I have to put some time and money into fixing the weird quirks. I wish there was a way to submit pictures in this review to show just how clean this vehicle is. I would not hesitate on buying another one.

Great vehicle and good value. I bought this vehicle 7 years ago with 15,000 miles on the odometer. It was like new inside and out. I have only had a couple of mechanical issues with the vehicle: First off, If it doesn't shift and downshift correctly, take it to the dealer, as there is a TSB out on this issue. Secondly, make sure to change the coolant every few years. Coolant only lasts so long, so at least every 5 years have it changed. On my Mountaineer the coolant aged and clogged up the radiator, resulting in a very expensive repair. Otherwise the vehicle is great and still looks relatively new despite being 18 years old. Overall very good value for what I paid for the vehicle.

I bought my 03 Mountaineer used in July. I didnt know ANYTHING about these SUV in fact I was unaware of their existence before I found this one. I paid $1,300, it had 108,000 miles on it. Ive owned it 6 months now and yes I have put some work into it but it's a 20 yr old vehicle and so far everything ive done I would've expected a vehicle with that many years to have going on, they just happened to me right away. But you can get the parts for these cheap. I have the 4.0 V6 and I love this car! It has so much power, it is fast as xxxx for a big heavy SUV. It flies down the highway and even handles curves like a sports car. I have to be careful because it takes off right now and I can be doing 90mph without even trying and be at 80mph coming onto the highway. It tows like a champ no problems. As long as I turn the overdrive off when in town and on when I'm on highway it gets great gas milage, I love the big moon/sun roof, the pedals move to me, leather heated seats. I like that I can either open just the back window or the whole hatch depending what im doing. The negative, typical ford rusted out rocker panels, I just filled my tank today and when leaving the station I noticed my fuel gage isnt working, could be the floater is stuck but it only has 110,000 on it now. Because in the 6 months I have owned it it has been in my shop getting the tlc in deserves and im feeling confident that this Mountaineer is gonna be one that goes the distance and some. I hope so. It is a real pleasure to drive.

This is a wonderful, comfortable, sure footed, luxury SUV. Terrific 24 valve V-8. They don't make an engine this good or strong anymore. Would buy another in a heart beat if they still made this truck or one this good. Have driven it from Boston to Maine for years in all conditions and it eats up snowy, slippery roads and gets you home.

I've owned my mountaineer since 2013 and I never had any problems with my car and I would definitely recommend this vehicle to other people who is looking for a good reliable used car. The mountaineer drives well in the snow and it never skidded in the bad weather, I have the 4.0 V6 engine and it has great gas mileage and I would never get rid of it.

When I purchased the car it was used but with low miles. The miles are still low and the car is starting to show its age. I am grateful that the work was able to he completed in my driveway. It's still a good car and i am glad i bought it!!!

I am writing ANOTHER review for Trend Auto since I continue to use them for maintenance issues regarding my used Toyota Sienna that I purchased from them years ago. I have had several issues pop up through the years regarding my van and not only have they resolved each and every problem, they did so in a very reasonably priced and expedient manner. I got my 2008 Mercury Mountanier after my 2003 Pontiac Grand AM transmission first gear broke. I had trouble with it with after getting stuck in the mud the transmission first gear broke the next day and the wheel bearing was not working so I just got it fix full last week and the vehicle is working at full capacity. I truly love this car and hope it last.

It was a good experience I bought a Cadillac CTS wagon. Most of my contract was done over the phone since I lived almost 4 hrs away.

I love my Mercury Mountaineer I bought it secondhand previous owners didn’t take care of it very well but with a little TLC I got it right all of the styling I like handling is great never left me walking but I am a 6’4” man So the driver seat is a little tight but I make do only complaint I have is the sunvisor it’s not comfortable forwards or backwards thing I love about it most is the doorhandles

Great vehicle, ran amazing until the transmission went, lots of cargo and passenger space, loved the third row seating.

I bought 2011 Honda Pilot EX in 2016 from East Coast Auto Source. It had bullet holes in the body and some shot out windows. I repaired the bullet holes, and had the other repairs completed. Car ran well and it needed some other work. Nine years later, we have 211,000 more miles on the Pilot. It was a good price and East Coast Auto Source was upfront and honest about the repairs and had the car shipped to my mechanic. I would bought another car in 2024 from them and I am happy with the deal.

This car met all my need and still meets all my needs currently. It is a great car to have and I will last a very long time if proper care and love go into.
