BOUGHT 19 FGLEX AS I ALWAYS WANTED 1 AND IT IS THE LAST YEAR THEY MADE IT....DIDN'T REALLY WANT TO SELL MY MONTEGO, BUT I DONT NEED 2 CARS...CHECK OUT SIMILAR YEAR CARS ON THE INTERNET...MANY HAVE WELL OVER 150,000 MILES STILL RUNNING STRONG THIS IS A HEAVY CRUISER BUT EXTREMELY EFFICIENT...OVER 400 MILES PER TANK FULL OF GAS. 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis review
I drove my Grand Marquis for about four years, and in that time had very few bad experiences. Over that time, I only dropped about $1,200 into maintenance, and fuel economy was not as bad as I expected for a V8. The handling was sluggish, but the engine definitely pulled its weight. The greatest feature was the comfort. Classic bench seats that felt more like couches than car seats, and a suspension that made even gravel roads feel like riding on a cloud.
