After 23 years of driving minivans and SUVs, I was ready for a change. I love my 2016 Mini Cooper S 4 door. with the 6 speed manual transmission. Car is great to drive, gets okay mileage (25+mpg) and is surprisingly practical.

I purchased a vehicle on 2/16/2023. The process was fast and efficient. The staff was extremely helpful and there was zero sales pressure. The CarMax financing offer was as good as I had found independantly.

I got a wonderful car from Imported Motor Cars in Maine. It’s a beautiful car, incredibly fun to drive, and surprisingly fits tall folks well (my husband is 6’5”). The 2016 model is high in reliability according to CR, and I haven’t found it to be different. It has great gas mileage and is pretty good in snow.

Purchased used in January 2020. Vehicle had low miles for a 2016 and was in nearly new condition. Was a certified pre-owned and have had absolutely no issues.

Fun car, not good for long trips though. Perfect for around town. Just a little to low for older adults, can be difficult to get in and out.

After a bait and switch with Tucson Subaru where the quoted sale price of my Kia Soulgt went down 2k in three week, I went to CarMax. I had received an internet quotation that was about the original quote from Sabaru. BMW / Mini really got it right with this 3rd generation 2016 Mini Cooper S. None of the headaches or reliability issues of previous years.... This car is incredible to drive. This is as solid a car as any car in the current BMW line up. Draws looks and smiles every where we go. So many features, So quick and responsive, it is incredible, way ahead of its time. The performance is exhilarating. My wife and I used this as a weekend car to drive up to our sailboat to spend the weekend on beautiful Lake Texoma from Frisco about a 60 mile trip each way to spend the weekends. Solid, safe secure, very reliable and dependable. Never had a problem one! We had more fun driving this car than any other we have ever owned and we have had 2 Honda Civics, 4 Honda Accord Sports of various years , 2017 CRV, 3 Porsches, a 2016 944, 2004 & 2013 Boxer S, and a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Limited. This baby tops them all... This car is a smile a mile....

Yesterday I purchased a car by phone for the first time. As a senior citizen I sold my car on the 9th of March thinking I would get totally travel by taxi or Uber or Lyft but I under estimated the value of getting up and going when you like. I saw a 2014 Silverado LTZ that had all the features I had been looking for. I set my mind to drive up and look at the truck (I opted not to transfer as I had family in the area I intended to visit). The hold process is GREAT. It's a quick click and I knew the vehicle was going to be there after I drove the 3 hours to look at it. I worked with Chris Biggs and he was great. We talked options on the truck and for financing (they beat my credit union's offer). He was incredibly friendly to be around and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him as we waited on our financing offers. He was thorough in making sure we had all the facts and options. If I had anyone in the area looking to buy, I would send them to Chris in a heartbeat. Then I know they'd have a good experience and be completely taken care of.

I returned to Car Max in Franklin, as I had questions for service re: the 2020 Jeep Wrangler I purchased a few weeks ago from this location. Justin helped me unhook a cable in order to get the top off the Jeep…. It was user error vs issue with the Jeep :). He helped me reset the oil life indicator, and popped the sun visor into proper place. He was all about service with a great attitude. This simple experience gave me an even more positive opinion of Car Max. Thanks!

They worked very hard to get me the Carfax information and allowed me to take the car to the nearby Toyota dealership to check it out. Unfortunately I didn't buy the car because of expensive repairs it needed. But Luis and his boss were very helpful and nice as can be.
