2020 Hyundai ELANTRA review
I recently bought a 2020 Elantra with very low miles (39k). It looks great, like new, and drives like a large sedan should. And the gas mileage is great! Driving around town yesterday it got 37 mpg in normal traffic, when the spec is 30. And on the freeway I was getting well over 57 mpg on a very slight, non-visible decline at 77 mph. It "feels" comfortable. My only knock so far is the information on the center console could be brighter and I haven't figured out how to make it yet. The owner's manual was not included in the sale.

2024 Nissan Rogue review
I've owed the rogue SV for some 9 months and I'm very pleased with the ride, performance and reliability . Prior to me purchased this car I rented a bunch of competitors to narrow down my choice. The Rogue has alot of features that really come in handy. It's a very thought out vehicle. On long highway trips it holds the road very steadily at 90 MPH and my gas consumption was in the low 40's. For the money to me it's the best value out there

2024 Toyota Camry review
I have been a Toyota owner for 20+ years and have been pleased with the "past" quality, reliability and performance. I purchased a 2024 Camry SE about 2 months ago and I have noticed the quality has definitely declined in the newer years lots of cheap plastic and carpet is really cheap. The under carriage plastic splash guards are a total joke! I had to remove the cheap plastic guards because they were loaded with about 10 lbs. of road gravel and dirt "not" an easy job to do to remove all the plastic clips. other than that no complaints on the performance so far. The Camry gets pretty good gas mileage for a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder sedan.

2023 Buick Envision review
Just had my first major car repair at 44k miles. Some steering sensor that could cause me to lose power steering. Had I not had the extended warranty I would be responsible for the $5k repair bill. We are barely out of the manufacturers warranty! Other than that, I love this car but already expecting to get rid of in the next year due to the unknown.

I am so THANKFUL for Carli here at JC Lewis service. In 2021, we bought a brand new CX5 and drove our way from IL to Savannah. There, I left the new car and my daughter. Being 700+ miles away, I get very anxious about her dealing with "dealerships" and possibly being taken advantage of. Recently the car just "stopped" and had an emergency brake issue. We had the car towed to JC Lewis where Carli and the service team went to work. I cannot tell you how WONDERFUL, PATIENT, UNDERSTANDING, INFORMATIVE, KIND, all the feel-good words that Carli was and made me feel SO MUCH BETTER about my daughter having to deal with this. They had the car for about 3 weeks, provided a courtesy car and made sure to go over everything, made the repairs and then some. There were other issues that arose while they had it and I anxiously waited for a bill that could be in the thousands, but Carli was diligent in making sure anything that was covered under warranty, was. I cannot tell you how much I APPRECIATE her and her constant communication over the past 3 weeks. She didn't have to go that extra mile to put me at ease, as my daughter IS 26 :) but she did, and I am SO relieved. Seeing as this is the only Mazda dealership near my daughter in Savannah, she'll continue to bring her car there for all services. I did a lot of "homework" before we bought our Mazda's and if you're on the fence, Mazda (CX5) is the way to go & JC Lewis Mazda is the place for all your service needs. Thanks again Carli! 2022 Kia Sorento review
Very happy with our purchase! It's got lots of power & very comfortable. With 2nd row folded down we can get 24 bags of groceries in it. Seats are comfortable & my husband who's 6'6" has plenty of leg room. Now I understand why I see so many Kias on the road!!! It's a joy to drive!

2024 Kia Sorento Hybrid review
We purchased the SX Prestige and it's a very well appointed vehicle. It is very comfortable for adults in the first two rows of seats and the third row is comfortable for the grandkids. It drives like a dream and has just about every safety system you could imagine which was daunting for my wife at first but she has a handle on it all now. The interior is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need for a comfortable ride. The exterior is very stylish and doesn't have that minivan look at all nor does it look like most of the mid size SUVs. The warranty is excellent which should give you an additional sense of security as far as long term issues with the major systems. Overall this is one of the nicest vehicles we have owned and we have owned the higher priced competitors of the same style and size. It is at a fair price point for what you get but my suggestion is to purchase the prestige package as it's only a few thousand more and the difference is pretty significant. As of yet I see no drawbacks to this vehicle and am glad that I took a look at KIA.

2025 INFINITI QX80 review
I recently purchased a 2025 Infiniti QX80 at an excellent price. Even at full price, it offers good value in the full-size luxury SUV market. After one month, here's my assessment. Strengths **Styling**: The QX80 features elegant exterior and interior design that outshines most competitors. The Navigator's redesign was disappointing, while the Wagoneer lacks refinement. Only the Escalade matches its presence, though with a more aggressive look. **Value**: Infiniti's current market position creates pricing advantages. Feature-for-feature, the QX80 is thousands less than competitors across all trims. **Powertrain**: The twin-turbo 3.5L V6 delivers smooth power through a 9-speed transmission. I'm averaging 20-21 mpg in mixed driving (better than EPA estimates), though it requires premium fuel. **Comfort**: Ride quality and noise isolation are excellent for a body-on-frame vehicle. The air suspension mitigates most harshness from the 22" wheels. **Handling**: It drives more like a midsize SUV, handling mountain roads with unexpected confidence. Only the pricier Escalade V offers better dynamics. **Space**: Dimensions match standard Navigator and Escalade while exceeding the Lexus LX. The third row comfortably fits adults with easy access, and cargo space is generous, especially with seats folded. **Towing**: All models can tow 8,500 pounds, above segment average. Only Wagoneer models with Hemi V8s offer more. Weaknesses **No Homelink**: Inexplicably lacks the standard garage door opener system. Instead uses "myQ," requiring compatible equipment and Wi-Fi. It works roughly 20% of the time for closing, 50% for opening. **Missing Trailer Brake Controller**: Despite strong towing capacity and pre-wiring, it lacks this essential safety feature that the cheaper Nissan Armada includes standard. **No Rear Sunshades**: A premium family vehicle should include this feature, common in less expensive SUVs. **Limited Storage**: Few interior storage options beyond a modest console and small pass-through. The Autograph trim's "cool box" reduces console space by half while offering minimal functionality. **Software Issues**: I've experienced two significant electronic failures already. Once, the infotainment rebooted while driving. More concerning, at 1,200 miles, the dashboard, HVAC, and air suspension failed simultaneously—a potentially dangerous situation. Uncertain Factors **Reliability**: Infiniti typically outperforms Nissan, and Japanese production suggests quality. The VR-series engine appears promising, but competitors have documented issues too. 2019 Volvo XC90 review
This is my fifth Volvo. My most important feature in any car is safety, and this car is SAFE. It is super comfortable, reliable, attractive, and an all around great car. I had XC70's until this XC90. It was tough to switch, but I'm so happy. My only disappointment is that I have two big dogs and they can't both fit in the way back comfortably, so I have a crate in the way back and a crate in the middle with two seats folded down (one up for a passenger). Otherwise, it's a "10." No issues at all at 4 years in.

2022 Volvo XC60 review
This is my first Volvo and although it took a while to get familiar with the controls, I love it! The side and rearview mirrors, warning sounds and lights have taken care of blind spots that are usual in a larger SUV, and have prevented accidents. The ride is still so smooth after 3 years, I can easily read a book on long trips. The front and rear seat adjustments allow everyone to be comfortable. We are glad for the bumper to bumper 5 year coverage we bought at purchase, and they immediately fixed any minor problems we've had over the last 3 years.

2026 Volvo XC60 review
We just leased our third XC60 having previously leased a 2021 and a 2024. We find the 2026 similar with some improvements in the interior material and I believe a bit better performance than our 2024. Being a mild hybrid the mileage is acceptable as is acceleration. Volvo has the most comfortable seats for sure.

2021 Toyota Camry review
I have 34K miles on my '21 Camry and have enjoyed every mile! Traveling from FL to MN and back every year, we get 39+ MPG at 75 MPH (who needs hybrid or electric). The 4 banger engine provides more than adequate power. The transmission is the only weak point - Probably the worst automatic trans I have ever owned. It hunts and shifts to a lower gear needlessly at just about any speed.

2016 Toyota Tacoma review
This vehicle seems to be an outstanding vehicle for its class. The only reason that I'm not giving it five stars for comfort is that it rides like a truck -- which is what its supposed to be, but quite comfortable for a truck. The other four star rating I gave it was because it was not available with a manual transmission. Again, it's a truck, not a car and trucks, as working vehicles should be available with a manual transmission -- but people today don't want to actually have to DRIVE a vehicl.

2022 Lincoln Aviator review
I love my aviator reserve. It is so comfortable and easy to handle. It turns on a dime. The ride is smooth and quiet. I do miss the luxury of my black label navigator but in comparison, the aviator is much easier to handle and park because of its size. We have had many recalls, but no issues otherwise with our vehicle. I am proud to on this vehicle and I love driving it.

He texted two days ago about another that I told him I wanted. They do not pressure, have great customer relationships and highly competitive prices. If I don't buy this third now, I will within a year!
2020 Mazda CX-5 review
I love it! Bought it new in 2020. Grand Touring Reserve with the turbo in Soul Crystal red metallic. I'm currently at 56k miles with zero issues. I do oil changes every 5k miles. Originally I test drove a CRV, RAV4, Forrester, and CX5. I picked the Mazda bc it looks, feels, and drives like a luxury SUV. 320 |b/ft of torque for a compact really gives it the edge over anything else in the class. Four years later and it still feels as solid as the day I bought it. The handling's amazing, and the ride is great! Some people have called the ride firm but I would say it's super compliant. It settles very quickly over bumps without feeling upset. The Bose system sounds "good" but only has bass and treble adjustments with no mid which would make it even better. The ventilated seats work better than in other cars I tested as well. It's also one of the quietest too letting in very little wind and tire noise.

2013 Lexus IS-F review
Ultimate sleeper. This car has a real Jeckle and Hyde personality. The IS F was allocated more track development resources than any other car in Toyota history, and it shows. It has proven to be bullet proof over it's history, so much so the same (slightly re-tuned) V8 and 8 speed are going in the new RC F. Toyota have done a superb job in building the complete package in this car.
