2026 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I bought the AT 4 version. Loaded. Has good ground clearance. It's powered with a 3.0 l turbocharged diesel. Has lots of horsepower and torque. I've had no problem but I talked to my friend who's a certified mechanic and they're having a lot of problems with the engine blowing up at very low mileage. A lot of the time less than 15,000. Some of them have problems with the thrust bearings failing causing increased crankshaft play back and forth to the point where the timing chain and the rubber belt that runs the oil pump can fail. The engine has been described as grenading. They're basically self-destructs. There's a specific power code that indicates low oil pressure and allowed rattle sound before it finally fails. I heard that the engines were on back order, so if you're one of the unfortunates you can plan on waiting 10 or 12 weeks or longer to get your truck back. They have to remove the cab completely to swap motors. But overall I love the truck. It's a big improvement over the 2022 I just traded in.

Six hours after I bought the car and drove it home to San Antonio (4 hour drive roughly), Michael called to make sure we'd made it home safe...I mean, who does that? It was unexpected, appreciated, and gave me faith in him as one of the true 'good guys.' My son will be needing a new Dodge within the next year, and we'll be driving up to Clyde again to buy it...I just can't say enough about how impressed I was with Blake Fulenwider and Michael...second to none! Big city selection and inventory with good ole country friendliness and care for the customer.
2026 RAM 1500 review
It was great for daily driving and if I have to long road trips I recommend for anybody for any reason to buy this truck.
