I recently purchased a 2004 Saab 9 3 Arc convertible. I knew very little about Saabs but they always intrigued me. I've only had it for a few days but I am very impressed with its overall quality, comfort and performance. Saab stopped making cars in 2012 because they could not compete with their Audi and Mercedes target market. Having owned both of those German brands, I think Saab approaches them in quality. Test drive one, I think you'll enjoy it.

Anyone who complains about a Saab simply doesnt take care of it. The Saab has been an absolute joy to have. The car is solid in everyway possible. Yes, the parts can be a bit expensive, but that is due to the company closing its doors in 2011. And the rarer your model and options the harder and more expensive it can be to get. However, as long as you take care of the car and upkeep the basic maintenance it runs perfect. There are plenty of videos to help you diagnosis issues if you have any. And you can always visit forums to ask for help. Yes GM had engineered some stuff in Saab. But the car is literally built to last, as long as you do the maintenance. If you get a lemon i feel bad for you. But other than that its a great car.

Recently purchased a 2014 Audi A4 S-Line from Bespoke Auto and had a wonderful experience throughout! Had some aftercare done at the shop by Miroslav and Evo and they were extremely warm and welcoming! No issues. No complaints. Great car overall. Drives very well and quite punchy and fun with a good turbo. Reliable, haven't had much issues so far. Value is great especially since they are loaded well and its less then 10k for a decent one. VERY VERY safe car, Saab's are extremely safe and this car gives you confidence that you are safe. I have a 2.0T which gets good mpg for its class, I once got around 40 mpg highway. The 2.0T is fun and punchy with impressive acceleration, most reliable too. If your willing to spend a little more and have significant funds for maintenance and repairs go for a 2.8T V6, which is fast. It handles well. Pros: 1. Well priced, good value 2. Stylish and unique design 3. Great cornering headlights xenon 4. Good engine, reliable if maintained, fast/quick 5. Very Safe, Swedish Metal 6. Jet fighter interior look Cons: 1. Rear seat legroom is a little disappointing but not a major issue for me, but if you have a large family i wouldn't recommend this car, go for a 9-5 instead. 2. Paint damages easily when older, these 9-3s can have paint peel issues in the long run if you live in hotter climates. 3. Some interior pieces aren't the best of quality for it's class. Door handles and small things, it can be creaky. Overall: Here and there it has minor disappointments but it definitely makes up for it very well. Great and fun car. I highly recommend this as a first car or commuter, maybe even for a small family.

Got the car back in 2010 with about 11k miles it's still running great with regular maintenance at ~284k miles now. Some minor issues along the way but still runs great.

The staff was very knowledgeable and personable. They were accommodating and brought cars around for me to test drive. Ifelt no pressure to buy. The shop is not very convenient to get to, but it's worth the effort.

My ratings on recent buy are conservative & will have it thoroughly checked out, but runs like a dream, especially for an older car with 13K on it. These cars are heavy, with parts welded to the frame, quiet, and safe. They are also gas sippers with over 30 mpg hwy and mid 20s in town.

This car drives like a dream - and has the power of most lower end performance cars and the functionality of a truck! Great economy/power combination. Handling is fantastic, braking is great! The seats are very comfortable for long distance driving - just with SAAB would have kept using their leather and not GM materials here. Overall it's a great car and if you have never driven one - go drive one and fall in love!

Love my Saab 9-5 Aero. Fast, comfortable, roomy with one of the best audio systems ever. The Ice Blue Metallic paint is flawless. The seats are extremely comfortable even on long trips. Lots of room in the back seat too. Love the simple, no nonsense dashboard controls. One of my favorite things about this car is how quick it is and how great it handles especially the curvy streets here in Los Angeles.

This is the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. Drove her off the lot brand new and 16 years later and 150K miles, she’s still smooth as silk. Only repairs are a window and windshield wiper!! So sad they don’t make these cars anymore.

Having driven a 2010 9-3X for awhile I have come to the decision it is the single best vehicle ever manufactured. Very comfy and quiet, not too slow, very good visibility, design, and ergonomics. Superb cargo space and driving dynamics.

I own a Aero for 15 months and I am over 15k with that. The car is an excellent combination of a family and sports car. The acceleration is incredible in this car, sometimes it feels like riding a bike. In terms of security it recenty got 5 stars. Takin turns is a joy. I love my car and strongly recommend it.

Recently purchased a rare find 2003 Saab Convertible 9-3, one owner with low 45,000 miles. Love the way it handles and quality styling. I sold my 2015 Acura, which I Loved, because of the technology package. Simply didn’t drive enough to keep the system charged and constantly worrying about cost if something goes wrong. This little Saab is so adorable and I’m no longer stressed by all the bells and whistles of my Acura!

This car was amazing. It lasted 12 years and 190,000 miles before a tree landed on it and it needed too many repairs. Over those 12 years is only needed an alternator and a seat rip repaired, that is it. The car was excellent as it handled well, it got great gas mileage (averaged 26 mpg in the suburbs, 35 or 36 mpg on the highway), and had nice acceleration with minimal turbo lag. The fact is was so durable made you overlook to some degree the unusual controls. The turn stalk felt flimsy like you could break it easily but over all those years nothing went wrong with it. The key is in the center but that was fine and Saab claimed they did it so you would not hit it with your knee in a car accident, and break your kneecap. This car even had one USB port even though it was a little before its time. The heads-up display worked well. Even though the car was badly damaged by the tree as I had to go off road and damaged the underside of my car badly, my mechanic bought it from me, fixed it, and sold it to a college student. Now it is 13 years old and has over 200,000 miles on the original powertrain. If that is not durable I don't know what is. No car I have owned has lasted as long as that one - not Toyota, not Honda. They also have lasted a long time but the transmissions on both of them died by 160,000 miles for the Toyota, by 140,000 on the Honda. If I could buy a relatively new one again I would but of course I cannot as they are no longer in business. Too bad, despite their quirks, they were durable, reliable, efficient cars.
