I had looked everywhere for a 2021 Cross Sport with Black/Burgundy interior. They had 2 even though I'm in Colorado, they made it so easy, they are bringing the vehicle 700 miles to me and picking up my trade Bruce is Awesome!

I bought my '04 Saturn Ion brand new. It only had 2 miles on it when I drove it out of the showroom. It hit 430k 2 yrs. ago. I was hoping to get at least 500k out of it, but alas, my subframe is rusted. But that's due to winters in the Midwest. I never had any engine issues and the factory battery lasted 7 yrs. before it needed to be replaced. It never burned any oil and I religiously changed the oil every 3,000 miles. My baby got me safely home in the worst weather. Very low maintenance, great gas mileage. Oh! And the dashboard design! I loved not having the steering wheel in the way to check my gauges/speedometer. Just a quick glance with my eyes was all that was needed; didn't even have to turn my head. Everyone gave me sh** for having a little plastic car. (My daughter always said that I could whip Cheerios, not doughnuts!) But they all shut up when they saw how good a car it was. For being a little car, it still had plenty of room. I smoked a deer w/ my car 20 miles from home and even though it totally effed up my hood and headlights, but it Never. Stopped. Running. My husband thought I was gonna junk it. I looked at him and laughed. He underestimated the love I have for that car. It was well worth fixing it and I drove it for another 4 years. I wish with all my heart that they would bring them back and make them as good as they did.

If the vehicle was closer i would have3 gotten it and it wasn't the color i was looking for

I bought my Black 2008 Saturn Astra XR about a year and a half ago.... With 74,000 miles!.. I threw some 18 staggered wheels....With that being said... Since then I've gone down hill financially... And as a result... I haven't been able to keep up the maintenance... And even though I've driven it over 20,000 miles WITHOUT a tune up... NEVER A PROBLEM! Although it's not running it's best... Not the car's fault... LOVE the performance (Although it could use more power) I LOVE MY SATURN XR

This car was the exact color and make I wanted and it fit my needs perfectly. It has been very reliable, and affordable, plus it looks great. The third door is very convenient whether to load groceries, suitcases or your dogs or kids in the backseat. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore.

I got my Saturn Ion new back in 2007. I wanted an affordable black car with a manual transmission. This car has been a rock for me. I've put on new all season tires a few years back. In this past summer, 2024(158,000 miles), I had to replace the brakes. Outside of regular maintenance(oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes) that is all I have had to do! Mine is a manual transmission, which has been very helpful controlling the vehicle in the snow here in MN. I am very grateful for my Saturn and happy to share the feedback.

So obviously this is a car you would encounter if your on a budget and in the used car market. I've owned two Saturns from the late 1990s and neither of them ever let me down. My current SC2 3 door coupe has over 200k miles and shows no signs of quitting. This is the dohc or twin cam engine which has decent pep and is highly reliable. The thing I love is how simple it is to fix and how cheap the parts are. Even though GM dropped Saturn from their line-up, you won't have trouble finding quality replacement parts for cheap. Ride quality is decent and spirited. The style is ahead of its time. I would only recommend Saturn vehicles until the early 2000s when GM just started rebadging Chevys.

This is the car I was looking for + low miles. It took a while, but I found it at Arko Sales in Ohio, a four hour drive for me.

I've owned two different Saturn Ions. The first one was a gift from aunt. She had bought the car brand new when it came out. I turned 17 and it was a graduation gift and she had got a new car. Drove that car for about 2 years and got into an accident that left the car totaled. I walked away from the accident scratch free. Got to love the built in roll cage in these cars. My second Saturn Ion was also a 2004 I had bought used with 115k miles for $1600 dollars. Drove it for 8 years with one pricey fix of the alternator. The rest was just routine oil changes, tires, and one set of shocks. 8 years that baby lasted me and I loved it. Drove it from Michigan down to Florida twice. Said goodbye at 220k miles. Amazing car.
