They were SO helpful with EVERYTHING. I hated to let my Forrester go, but it was time. 😟 Those are two of the greatest guys OMG.....They had us feeling relaxed. I have never had so much fun buying a car. Both Johnny and Adam had us laughing the whole time. And again, who laughs at a time when you HAVE to get another vehicle. I don't! But I did! My Scion Xb is 12 now and acts like the champ it was in 2011. It was a lease car so I don't know how it was treated day to day. Yes, the milage was a little high. The paint job is something to see also. It's metallic amethyst (purple). I got it for 12k because of it's history. It was also a dealers online bate car. I love it all around. No major problems in 12 years.

This 2013 Rs10 is my second Scion xB. My first was a 2006 gen1 Polar White that I drove for 17 years and 160k flawless miles before trading in for the gen2 Release Series. Great car! Reliable, sporty and stylish. Tons of occupant and cargo room. Plenty of power and decent mileage (avg 24 combined) with auto trans. Very roomy and versatile car. The 10 year Anniversary Release Series RS10 has unique RS only features: LED solar lighted shift knob, carbon fiber dash panels with EL (electro-luminescent) Scion and RS10 logos, graphite colored alloy wheels, cool blue LED light up “vehicle finder” front & rear Scion logos and RS only floor mats to name a few. And that killer “Silver Ignition” RS only paint! Its a medium silver with a gold pearl fog that just glows and changes in the sun! Its look and color are unmistakeable once you see it on the road! Loving this second gen xB! I am positive that it will serve me as well as my gen1 with another 150k easily…its a Toyota!

Had a tough start with my purchases of the 2 cars I planned to purchase as salesperson Luis Moreta was very non responsive as time went on and numbers changed as far as my trade in values on my 2 cars. He started at one number and the next day that number went down when I asked for number to possibly go up. First time I?ve ever had that happen. So I was done dealing with him and was planning on going to another dealership. Then I figured I?d give them one more shot and Amy Rodrigue and Nancy Vega made my experience as I would have expected. They were super responsive and listened to me explain my issues with original salesperson. They made the purchases of 2 cars extremely easy and from start to finish everything was put together in just over 24hours. So far i feel it was a wise purchase. The car is very clean inside and outside. Mileage is low for a car of this year. Love the color and the overall design of the Scion. I am glad i showed up at the car lot when i did it very well may have been gone if i had been a day later. Thanks to everyone at Superior Kia for making sure my buying process went very smoothly.

Almost perfect. One shortcoming is low gas mileage for this market segment. However the car has lots of spunk and acceleration. Needs a variable or ten speed transmission to improve mileage. Otherwise amazing car.

I had previously dealt with Daytona Toyota in 2021 and already had nothing but praise from my experience then. This latest experience, however, has truly raised the bar. I have a 2008 and my hood hinge never worked well hood fly up I had to replace the entire hood. Now engine fails. Oil leaking terribly

I bought this car new in 2014 and I loved it. I still love it. It's got 160k and my 16yo is now driving it and he loves it, everyone knows it's him. I got a new RAV4 2022. This scion xb has the same engine as my 2005 Camry. Love it.

After being a Nissan customer for many years, I realized that the cars were not reliable and decided to try a Scion. It has been my most reliable car to date. Repairs have been minimum and it drives very well. I travel around the state a lot and so far it has been consistently performing well.

Even though the Scion XB may look a little square but Scion which is made by Toyota made a grat vehicle. Its super reliable and comfortable to drive. The drivers position is high so you have good visibility. The interior is spacious. Although some materials are plastic, it still looks good. The performance was actually better than I thought it was going to be. It has a 2.4 L VVT engine which is strong off the line. Overrall a good vehicle for the price if you can take the boxy style looks.

I bought first car here a year ago and came back to get a ca for my son. Both times were such a great experience and they gave me wonderful advice to help pick the perfect ride. My 2008 Scion xb has been an incredibly good car. Nothing has ever needed fixing except new tires, and brakes wore down. Kind of expected in 12 years of daily use! I have hauled a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood (with the hatch open) a dining room table and so many other large cumbersome items it is crazy. Tall people have often commented on how much head room in my car. Two oddnesses that haven't been troublesome but are strange: First, there is only one back-up light. That's how it was designed. Second, there is only one key hole in the entire four-door car and that is in the driver's door. Not things I would recommend in car design but very minor compared to 12 years of worry free driving and 8 years of no car payments!

Scions are amazing cars. Very roomy, reliable, and has all the comforts I needed. Great cargo space and sound system was adequate. It drives smoothly and never gave me any mechanical issues that weren’t routine maintenance items. My previous car was also a scion XB and I was T-bones by a drunk driver in a Ford F-150 running a red light at 60mph And my car was smashed, but I was totally fine. No major injuries. I credit my life to the car that night. Highly recommend scion.

We bought this car new in 2011. It is currently at the mechanic shop to have a full inspection. We have performed only routine maintenance to the car - brakes, wipers, oil. I replaced the battery this year just as a precaution. The only work will be to correct intermittent dash warning lights, so replacing the rear wheel seals/bearings to deal with an ABS sensor issue. My wife loves her car and wants to get a lot more years out of it.

I Didn't end up getting this car. Overall Great customer service and follow through :)

I bought this car in replacement for my very unreliable 2012 Volkswagen jetta. I bought he car used, 2010 model with 32k miles. In 6 months I put 20k miles with no drama. I just drove from LA to Las Vegas and coming back to LA with no problem. My box had full trunk and 4 passengers including me. I was kinda reluctant because I am used to drive to Vegas with our VW routan with big V6. This car handled freeway speeds with no problem. The only drawback in this car are: 4 speed auto- I wish they have put 5 speed auto from 2009 camrys; small tank- with a 2.4L 4 banger that is quite thirsty because of the tranny. Overall I have no complaints. I am loving this box and although I replaced the 16 steelies with 17” rims with 215/45/17 with firestone fr710 the stock suspension handled all the bumps and imperfections of LA roads.

My beloved Pontiac Vibe died on a Monday. I looked at replacing the engine but getting back and forth to my job every day is also very important! Decided to check just in case online and Gladstone had the exact same vehicle, one year newer with much lower mileage at a price I could afford! Within a week - I drove to KCMO with a cashiers check in hand and drove it home. Thank you for working with me through messages and phone calls to be sure we could complete my purchase in one visit!

Best experience buying from a used dealership Nathan took great car of us 6 years ago when we bought my husband's chevy 6 years ago and today we bought a chevy tahoe. Their prices are fair and customer service was great we will definitely be back for any future purchases

I see another reviewer here bought their xB in 2006 as well. This has been a very reliable car for me. I want get all the maintenance issues out of the way first. I have had to replace the camshaft gears, the blower motor fan for the A/C 6 times, the catalytic converter twice, ingnition coils, front windshield 3 times (one time reimbursed through Scion owner settlement), water pump, starter, and cold air intake system. Those were the most significant, and expected after 19 years of ownership. I have seen on other sights that the car burns oil, and as my car got older, it does. I have to replace oil usually twice in between oil changes. The only 2 issues I have not addressed is the front end suspension and the audio system. It was never the smoothest riding vehicle from the beginning, but now the MacPherson struts are shot making for a rough ride over the smallest bumps in the road. If anyone has ever ridden surface streets in and around downtown Atlanta, they can attest to the rough streets and the wear and tear down to your vehicle. The factory radio speakers are blown. They didn't do well at high volumes. I still can listen to music with little bass at moderate volumes--works for me. However, after all that, the maintenance for my Scion has been spaced out and reasonably priced. From the first oil change, I decided to take this vehicle to the dealership for repairs, however I highly recommend relying upon your own maintenance preferences. With some costly repairs, I reached out to other mechanics. Back to the Scion...other than the usual oil change, wiper blade changes, filter changes, brake repair, and tire replacements, the overall maintenance cost in a yearly basis is low. I enjoy the gas mileage, the interior room (although I would like more driver legroom), the lasting CD player, the lasting hydraulics for the rear door (showing my age), maneuverability, engine power at lower speeds, and slow depreciation over the years. This car has been the longest lasting car I've ever had and has outlasted cars of friends, coworkers, and family.

One of the best reliable cars then and now even though the Scion brand is done and that’s too bad but the Toyota brand has always had my attention then and now never had any problems with both of them and when I decide on a new car like new Corolla and hybrid Camry both cars will allow me to retire from my job in about one year and retire into the sunset in a great car

I like horse power but I don't want to give up reliability. My 2012 9.0 RS Scion xB fits the bill. ( By the way they only come in Hot Lava color ) Bought it two years ago, and since then it's never failed to start & run. I always keep it well maintained, and I've had three dealerships offer to buy it from me, ( so they can sell it for thousands more) it has 135k miles which is just breaking a Toyota/Scion in. My only complaint is: I wish Toyota put in the 180hp 2.5 Camry motor in it - it has the 2.4 158hp motor stock. I can chirp the tires off the line, it's so quick down low, but mid range and up high its average. Lord Willing I plan on keeping it. Next car will be as reliable and a little faster. Hard to find anything better than the xB in that regard..

This review is about their buying process, not their sales. (I live >100 miles away, so I've never had to come this far to buy a car.) After my Ford Fusion Energi PHEV came off lease, I bought it out and resold it to CarMax. Their online assessment process was fair and painless, and they offered me a pretty good price for me car. But that was an estimate, not an offer. I drove my car all the way here expecting to be haggled to death and get a reduced offer, but--it didn't happen. They examined the car and paid me the original offered amount with no dickering at all. It was a pleasant surprise. Fast-forward to today; now I've got a nice Ford Escape PHEV. They gave a nice estimate when I checked online, so I bought out my lease and I need to get the car over here to sell it to them. I'm hoping history will repeat itself.

It's fun, quick, versatile, fuel efficient, "fun" looking and I would drive it myself to anywhere for work or fun and my teenager hates that he's about to get his license and I'm selling it! LOL Toyota and Scion made a great team here. This should never have been discontinued...or the scion brand. This was their best car all around.
