I have owned this car 2008 smart for 3 years and it work great some minor issues like engine light that was just gas cap and heater whlch i removed and cleaned. i live where it is cold and it will start in really cold weather most of the time. Got good tires and winter driving is good. With more attention this car would sell better in canada and states. would not part with it .

I just picked up my new car at CarMax of Hartford and, I have to say, this was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. I had found a Ford Explorer that I wanted to see on their lot. I put a hold on the vehicle on their website, very early in the morning. By 9am the same morning, I was contacted by Rocco Toce, the most awesome sales person around. I have bought many vehicles through the years and he is the top of the list! We went to look at the truck and he had it clean and ready for us to test drive. We loved the truck but it just didn’t have all the options that we were looking for. I found the exact Explorer we wanted in New York and Rocco jumped right in to help us transfer the vehicle to Hartford. I have to admit, it IS a leap of faith to pay the transfer fee upfront before even seeing the vehicle in person. Rocco jumped in and took over. He spoke to the other CarMax and had them check every part of the vehicle out. I felt very comfortable after he called and told me the truck sounds good. My Explorer made it to Hartford very quickly and Rocco immediately checked it out and let us know it was perfect! I went to see it yesterday. It was beautiful and in the best shape. Rocco took us through the entire car and never rushed us through anything. He sent our Explorer to detailing while my 2009 Silverado was appraised. I received a fair price for my trade and the deal was smooth and handled professionally by the staff. I’m pretty sure I have not had a better car buying experience. Rocco and the team at Hartford CarMax could not have done more to make our experience the best. I did a ton of research about CarMax like I’m sure everyone does. I drove over an hour to work with them and I am so glad I did. We walked out of there with a great, shiny Ford Explorer and the greatest car buying experience!

I have a 2016 and I an 6’ 4” my wife is 5’ and we are both 70. We use it every day and we live in a retirement community. We can park it right beside the golf carts. It is fun to drive with good gas mileage. It is not our trip car for sure but it takes up very little space up in our garage. It feels like a regular car once you are driving it . In fact it feels like a sport car. I don’t get out of a regular car very well but this is almost like a SUV to get out of. Our other car is a Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige . When we go from the Smart to the GV70 you think you are in a Bentley! The 3 cylinder vibrates or shakes (not crazy)through the first 5 mph but after that it is fine. It is not a car for everyone but for us it is the cat’s meow. We use it every day while the GV70 goes weeks without moving.

This has been a great vehicle for the last 6 years. It saves a lot of space in the garage, it's fun to drive with the manual transmission, and it stands out amongst all of the other cars on the road. It is a perfect fit for the beach town that I reside in. I have also driven it on long road trips and it was completely comfortable and capable. Personality and unique details seem to be difficult to find in most new vehicles today. I am grateful to own "compact, forward thinking" transportation that never gets boring and continues to turn heads.

I love the no hassle car buying experience and my salesman was a good guy that was a veterans car salesman. They took care of getting me set up with a second key very quickly and got me a great interest rate on my loan I quickly paid off within 6 months. The smart fortwo has been a great commuter car, best turning radius of any car sold in US, easy to park, 40-45 miles per gallon, fun shifting the 5-speed, fixed glass moon roof makes the car feel very spacious for its size. High strength steel safety cell and numerous airbags with excellent NHTSA rating always made me feel safe when commuting on back roads or the highway.

We absolutely love our two Smart electrics. Virtually maintenance free, charge it up in the garage overnight. Bet we do 98% of our driving in them. Range is only 75 miles or so on a full charge, so that makes it tough for long trips, but around town they are perfect.

I am a new customer to Steven's Creek Toyota and I am here to give great kudos to Josh Pourkhorsand and Lance Nguyen for their patience and diligence to their jobs. Even though I had never personally met Josh, I texted with him about my interest in buying a new Toyota Prius and he was ON TOP of it, to say the least. I will be returning to SCT for the next 6 years for maintenance so this good-natured, positive atmosphere was so refreshing. I had been to a dealership prior to this (nearest to me - I'll leave it to you to map it) and my treatment was FAR less helpful. I was not made to feel important. Even though I had regularly communicated my desires to a sales agent there, I was always put in the position of having to initiate the inquiries regarding their deliveries. My desires were not kept track of and I was not treated specially. I did not get the 'treated-as-family' feeling that I got from Steven's Creek Toyota. I made the right choice the SCT team. A well rated car after the generally negative review above. I have been driving them for over two years now and just love their road character whether in the city or on long trips. I have also learned that they are tough little cars and very reliable along with great NHS crash results, way better that the average. We are past the era of driving half acre size cars !

Great little car. I sold my first one and realized I need it. Great on gas and never had any issues. Why the didn't take off on the US I will never under. I have had multiple back surgeries and can't get in and out of most cars. The Smart Car is easy to get in and out and had plenty of room inside and I am 260 pound man. I have plenty of room.

What an amazing experience! This is my 4th Electric Car. It has limitations (no fast charging), but it also is fun to drive and has a lot of storage places inside...seriously. I used to have a LEAF and still have a BMW I3, Tesla Model X and this in the garage. The ED is my go to for quick around town drives. Yes it takes 3 hours to charge if empty...but I knew that going in...and have never come home empty in any of the EVs.
