Used 2024 Subaru Outback for sale near Raleigh, NC

Joseph is the Friendly sales rep that answered all my questions, and there were a lot of them. The Finance department and manager and was able to work with my budget to make this purchase happen. I learned different ways to finance and make payments that worked for me. Would definitely recommend this dealership.

We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.

I went to Hendrick Subaru Southpoint yesterday (30 July 2025) to sell my Subaru. I got to work with Claire (front desk) and Alex Cash (sales associate) and I am so so grateful. They made the process safe, non-pressured, and honestly a grateful relief--which I cannot say of any other car dealership experience I've been to in my 25 years of driving. They communicated effectively with me and with each other, took genuine care of my situation, and were honest. I super mega recommend going in to work with Claire and Alex any time. Car has an excellent ride. It is quiet. The comfort, interior quality is very good including leather seats. Fit and finish is very good. I enjoy the quality.

The first time I bought a car (not from CarMax) it was a terrible experience and I was stuck with a hunk of junk that was worth far less than what I owed. CarMax made me an amazing offer for it, and helped me pick a the SUV of my dreams that was within my means! Affordable, beautiful quality, it looks and smells BRAND NEW - no one would ever suspect it was used!! The buying process was so simple and quick. My sales guy, Scottie, was an absolute pleasure to work with. He didn’t put on any pressure, made everything extremely easy to understand, and let me take my time! I am just so impressed and happy with my experience. When it is time for another upgrade, I will certainly be going back to check out what’s on their lot FIRST before anywhere else! I have an 3,000 miles on my new basic 2024 Outback. (My only add on was a rock chip protection.). I drove from North Utah across Wyoming to Colorado Spring & learned that my vehicle has plenty of power without a turbo. It ran true and handled efficiently at the speed limit of 80 miles per hour. I added a Cargo cover (as insisted by my lady to hide valuables from prying eyes in our parking garage). One comfort problem discovered the absence of a car charger for a passenger up front. A 2nd missed item on my basic 2024 Outback are the smaller visors (The Sun in my eyes was difficult to block.). I notice road noise which interferes with my hearing conversations from my console. I am not sure if Subaru insulates the “loaded” models better? My trip took me to Galveston where We parked in a hotel long term parking for a week long Cruise. Getting to know the car this way… the driving back thru I 45 & I 35 to Waco & Dallas had me wishing I had negotiated for a few more creature comforts than the basic model provides.

The place was amazing. We weren't over whelmed by a lot of sales people. Just Evan. He was so nice and worked above and beyond to get us the deal we wanted.

My first Subaru, My opinion is the 2.5 DOHC lacks the power to move this vehicle. The auto start/stop feature is slow to respond and take off thus almost causing me accidents. Today’s markets have smaller engines with a turbo that give better mileage and horsepower.

Very low-key, straightforward approach. Helpful in finding the right vehicle and patient in answering my questions about its operations. A very large dealership with a frustrating phone system, but cordial and non-bureaucratic once you get there.
