Used Subaru Outback for sale near Eureka, CA

Today, we had four key fobs that had failing batteries in them. We struggled with the task, so we went to Harper Ford, Eureka to see if they could help. We were very pleased with Dave at the Parts and Services Department. He was very pleasant and even though it was small tedious request, he cheerfully completed it as if we were the best customers in the world. We have purchased three cars from them in the past and in each transaction, it was never a time that I felt that we were pressured but treated respectfully. The parts department also serviced our car, as well, for a recall and again the service was wonderful. We highly recommend Harper Ford's dealership. In fact, for one of the cars we purchased, we walked away from another car dealership due to their aggressive sales person and the added on additions when it was time to sign on the dotted line for the purchase. The best decision we ever did.

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

I purchased my Outback Premium in 2022 new. Liked the color. silver, and didn't want moonroof or a lot of extras that could break. Bad battery experience has really disappointed our experience although the cars performance and comfort has not.

We came from out of town to get the vehicle we wanted and they went out of their way to make the experience painless. Their price was very fair, they took our trade in and made it work, and got us out of there in no time. They were also creative in getting us a deal and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had what we needed. I purchased my 2000 Outback Limited sedan new September 1999 when the 2000 just came out. I still own it and hope I never have to replace it! It has been the best car! With currently 126,000 miles (yes that low as I live in a smallish town) and it’s my commuter. I heard about the engine gasket right after I bought it so I replaced it at 50k miles. It’s only needed age related fixes; fuel pump, catalytic converter, nothing major. Drives excellent in the snow and ice, very peppy through the mountains. All electronics work great (heated seats, wiper heated, side mirrors heated, etc. CD and cassette player still works too! Love my car!!

Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them. I ran into some unexpected complications and needed a car right away, and they were able to help me without making the process stressful. I was referred by a close friend, and they met my expectations. I’m grateful for how smooth and straightforward everything was.
