I purchased my 2000 Outback Limited sedan new September 1999 when the 2000 just came out. I still own it and hope I never have to replace it! It has been the best car! With currently 126,000 miles (yes that low as I live in a smallish town) and it’s my commuter. I heard about the engine gasket right after I bought it so I replaced it at 50k miles. It’s only needed age related fixes; fuel pump, catalytic converter, nothing major. Drives excellent in the snow and ice, very peppy through the mountains. All electronics work great (heated seats, wiper heated, side mirrors heated, etc. CD and cassette player still works too! Love my car!!

I have owned all 5 gens, currently own an 01(SF), 07(SG), and a 20(SK). My favorite is my SG slowly becoming the SF. Since, they are all prone to similar issues. It is a little easier to own the same style of vehicle.

Have 201000 miles. Just came off of a 3300 mile trip. Preformed flawlessly. 80 mph on cruise control thru mountains. This car was well taken care of by previous owner.

Just bought this car from a private seller with 147K on it. I have never felt true love before I owned a Subaru, and now I know what it feels like! I imagine it's a stronger bond than having a child. Only thing that caught me off guard about this specific model was ... NO CUP HOLDERS! Thought it was funny but no big deal, there is room to install in the back seats! Also this thing punches for a wagon, watch the xxxx out everyone green machine is coming through! Also, going to be honest the seats are about as comfy as my old 2018 Altima and way better than the lame xxx Centra!

My car needed a complete AC unit replacement, and he went above and beyond to help me with everything. He made sure all the labor and maintenance were covered under warranty, so I didn’t have to pay anything out of pocket. I really enjoyed working with him. I also want to thank the finance manager, AJ, for guiding me and recommending that I bring my car to Honda of Burien. Because of his advice, I received the best service. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for great service.

This car is great. It’s wonderful to have a gas efficient car right now. Also although the car is small on the exterior, the interior is quite large and an efficient use of space. The car is at 122k miles and the engine is still going strong. This is just a solid car. And an amazing car for the price

Love the all wheel drive, handles great. Smooth power, comfortable ride. The window design makes for great visibility. Would have loved a manual transmission though not available

My Dodge truck got stolen in January of 2022 . I needed a car I only had liability on truck so I got no $$. I bought this 1998 Subaru Outback for 2000$ it had 170,000 miles on it the owner did all the Maintance he was going to give to his daughter so he wanted it in tip top condition , well his daughter took one look and said yuk I don’t want that . So he sold it to me . New tires new brakes all u joints new transmission service . All because it was for his daughter . Lucky me . I have drove this car all over to Montana to LA lots of place . Great in the snow . I will say this is the best car I have ever owned for 2000$ dollars . I have put 30,000 miles on it , just over 200,000 miles on it . Also the AC works great . I love this car . I get more compliments on this Sub then I ever did on my Dodge Ram . Bottom line I do recommend .

Great car, meets our needs. I wish the back was a trunk instead of a visible hatchback. I just prefer stuff in the back to be hidden from outsiders. 27 mpg, good get up and go, starting from a stop. A few repairs needed, but what used car doesn't need a few?

My first Subaru. And won't be my last. Even for an older car with a lack of modern amenities, I loved how it happened in the mountains and on the interstate.

I bought my Subby two months ago and I love it. Being a 2000 though, I have put almost 2 grand just to make it reliable vehicle. It is not a racecar so do not try, currently stock but it does get you from point A to point B without any question. The air conditioning may need to be recharged but we have to remember it is a 2000 but other than that, I would highly recommenced this vehicle! Does not have any leaks what so ever so it will not stain your driveway.

He had it fixed at no cost and held the vehicle for us until it was repaired with no down payment, just a handshake. We paid in full at point of sale and have been satisfied with the vehicle’s performance. Luke is a man of his word.

Paid 300$ for it put 200$ in repairs and meets my needs I also do most of the labor to repair it, witch saves alot of money

I bought this car October 2022 with 124,000 miles on it. I’ve put 16,000 miles on it and it has always gotten me home wether it be from a 4 hour roadtrip, 2 drive into the desert, or a 10 min drive to a coffee shop. I have had to put some money into it, in the shop currently for a transmission overheating condition, but this is easily my favorite car I’ve owned. The ride is extremely comfortable, handling is great, visibility is insane, engine has enough power to comfortably escort you up any grade you may come across. This car has taken me places my 2008 dodge ram never got me, You never realize how nice AWD is before you use it.

Just the right size to take you almost anywhere urban or rural. Minimal blind spots and plenty of room for your gear. With the AWD under most circumstances it is hard to get it to loose grip or get stuck .

Bought a used truck from them, great experience! Since I was from Wisconsin, they provided pics and video’s per my requests. Truck was delivered (from transport) and there was no surprises with the vehicle condition or how it ran.
