2023 Subaru Forester review
Overall, at 60k miles, I’ve had no problems and am very happy. I average around 34 mpg’s with mixed driving. I’m happy with the acceleration as well, even though Subaru’s without a turbo are sometimes labeled as slow. I have no problem merging onto highways. The Forester is an easy to live with SUV/car. The rear room is adequate, although the CRV offers about 10 cubic feet more rear capacity. Visibility is excellent. The CVT is smooth and has simulated shifts, just make sure you change the fluid every 30k! I own the Limited with leather seats that are very comfortable. Sometimes the response time on the radio/touch screen can feel a little delayed. I also opted for the dimming driver/rear view mirrors which is great during winter commuting. It saves your eyes from glare. Very view cars offer this which is why I went with the Subaru. My only “major” complaint with the car is a slight rattle coming from the dash board area. It isn’t always there, but is present enough to bother me. Aside from that it is an excellent vehicle and value for the money!

2024 Subaru Forester review
the forester sport is very reliable get 26 mpg on most of my daily commutes. Drives great in the winter (even though I have the same tires they came with). Traveling in it on road trips are great, 31 mpg using the cruise control and lane assist. It's not a very fast SUV but it honestly worth it. I tend to speed, but it's not something that actually bothers me. I was worried it would be too sluggish. I picked the forester for my road trips, and extra stuff I drive with.

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought myself a Christmas gift, a new CX5 SignatureTurbo the day after Christmas and I absolutely love it! I don't' know why I didn't get one sooner. I have always been a Toyota, Lexus guy, but I must say this classy vehicle beats the others. Why, let's start with the interior. Mazda makes some of the most beautiful interiors! Exteriors too!! The fit and finish are superb! The CX 5 is extremely quiet and smooth riding, and I can honestly say it is quieter than any Lexus I have had in the past. There is also the fun factor! If you haven't tried a Mazda, you need to. They are a driver's car and fun to drive. The trim level I have has the Bose system and has a beautiful surround sound. Crank up the volume and it's awesome! The safety features are excellent, and everything is conveniently located. There is no need in paying for other Luxury cars when you can get a Mazda and save thousands, and they are the best keep secret out there. Luxury, fun, good looks for much less. I am definitely staying in the Mazda family.

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought a new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Signature before they were gone and no longer available because I really like that this car though not perfect and to some people kind of dated in design and execution but to me is full of good elements that future cars including the 2026 CX-5 will lack. Exterior styling that does not get old quickly and still looks good without being too flashy. A great interior that looks and feels premium with quality soft touch materials throughout. An engine ( Turbo ) and transmission (Not a CVT!!!) combo that makes driving a pleasure. The way the suspension is setup is another thing about this car that makes me want to go for a ride any chance I get. The meaty steering feel , not over assisted and numb. This is a compact SUV that shouldn't feel this enjoyable to drive but it does. You sit a bit higher and taller in the saddle and have a good view ahead and around you with the nice large mirrors and 360 cameras . When my wife is riding next me enjoys the view. The wind shield is not too big and far away and steeply raked which is easier to clean inside and doesn't heat the interior up. The controls some might call old fashioned or retro but as far as I am concerned you just cannot improve on dedicated knobs and buttons for hvac and interor functions and the well placed controls on the steering wheel, drivers door and center consol ( The large control dial and volume knob are perfect!). And who doesn't love a good old shifter with a nice looking leatherette boot at the bottom of it retro but in a good way! Yes ok the the gauge cluster isn't over the top with flashy effects and the infotanment setup and screen size are dated but for me that's a good thing. I don't need too much tech or too much screen, this is more than enough for me, Call me an old fashioned nerd but I prefer books to screens anyday! The Bose stereo sounds good but isn't mind blowing just a good step up from the base unit. This feels like a very well sorted out and put together vehicle. You get in it and drive. No fiddling fumbling and adjusting this and that . You get in adjust your seat and mirrors and go. The pure enjoyment of just how well this car behaves in my hands makes me enjoy driving it. It feels tight and solid with a firm ride that tames rough roads well without being too floaty or harsh and punishing. I think it's a very good balance that rewards the drivers with good driving dynamics and fun. The brakes are solid, competant and feel right from the get go and take no getting used to. The turbo engine is really torquey and doesn't need to be over rev'd to get it to pull. It has a nice sound without sounding silly. Gas milage is not the best but I figured that to be and accept it. The tranny works well with engine. It is smooth and does what a good transmission should do almost invisably with no clunkiness or gear hunting. The CX-5 interior is nice comfortable ( and dare I say somewhat elegant and classy ) the dark Caturra brown nappa leather seats with contrasting stitching and perferations for heating front and back and cooling in the front look beautiful and myself and my passengers find very comfortable. The rest of the interior is mostly black with real wood trim ( Who does that anymore) The interior is quiet with no sqeeks rattles or road noise (so far)! Rear seat room is enough far the average sized person. And the trunk space considering the vehicle size is fine. All cars cost way too much now but what you get for the money I really think when compared to other compact SUV's is a good value and the quality fit and finish (Made in Japan!) doesn"t feel cheap. I only gave the reliability rating 3 stars because this would be better answered in say 5 years. 2024 BMW X3 review

Very happy with our new Forester the sales people were great to work with and got everything done in a timely manner. Couldn't get the app to work to start the car went back up the next day wasn't fluffed off salesman came right out and helped and when he couldn't get it he got someone that could turned out to be a phone issue. As for the car itself it's extremely well built , comfortable only thing is we are not techies so it has some learning curves for us but they all are like this now days.
2025 Subaru Forester review
Bought this car and took off for a 2000miles trip so learned along the way, Not a speed demon but enough to get into traffic and gas mileage is great...over 30 on highway. my only complaint was I couldn't see during a bad storm because the center screen was so bright it was blinding me and had to turn it off. I have over 15000miles on it and owned for over a year and I would buy another one,

2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
This is the best Jeep Wrangler model ever made. The past YJ, TJ, JK models are great, but this Jeep JL 2018 Wrangler Sahara Automatic V6 is the best one yet. The comfort and modern amenities are top of the line. The 8” infotainment head unit and Alpine sound system is out of this world. The interior fits my family of four and has enough cargo space for a stroller, scooter, Onewheel XR and beach chairs. The exterior needs no introduction with its iconic round headlights and seven slot grill. Followed by a three piece removable top, which I managed to take off and put back on by myself. FYI, don’t try doing this by yourself. My final favorite thing about my Jeep JL is the ability to customize the Jeep with all of the amazing aftermarket parts and pieces. This allows you to take the best looking car on the road and make it your own.

2023 Mazda CX-5 review
I am delighted with my 2023 CX-5 Signature in the hard-to-find Eternal Blue. I've had it about one year now and it's more than adequate for my driving needs. No, I don't need a rattle-prone pano sunroof. The six-speed non-CVT transmission is just fine. Never need or use(less) the paddle shifters. Performance with regular fuel is just fine. As an "early senior", I don't need huge cargo or passenger space. Only complaints are the Apple CarPlay isn't wireless; and miss the power tilt/telescope steering wheel and power memory exit seat that I had on my unbeloved '20 Lexus NX (which I was glad to get rid of!). All told, I'm a Mazda believer and buh-bye Lexus!

2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

2022 Audi e-tron review
The Car is just great, but potential buyers beware. One problem is that there is no permanent roof sunshade. I purchased a Porche Taycan sunshade that stays in place with 12 clips, since they are sister vehicles. Living in Florida, the glass roof gets beyond hot and cooks the top of your head. Another issue is the chargeable miles. At 80% charge I get 245 "electric" miles, and at 100% I get just about 300 "electric" miles. Using the a/c, the radio, or head lights will eat up about 45 miles easily. Tune ups are expensive considering there is no engine. My first major tune up this year was $1,600, a lot more than expected. 4 year warranty is up in June, Audi wants $9,300 for 4 more years or 48K miles. I went with a third party insurer for 5 years/30K miles for $4,300. Too bad Audi doesn't have more faith in the quality of their vehicles.

2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric review
I’ve owned my 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Ultimate for about a month now, and it’s been nothing short of impressive. The design immediately stands out with a modern, sculpted look that feels unique on the road. Mine is in Thunder Grey with the Fjord Blue interior, and the combo turns heads everywhere. Performance-wise, it’s quick and quiet with instant torque that makes merging and city driving effortless. The one-pedal drive is smooth once you get used to it, and the all-wheel drive gives me confidence in any weather. Inside, the cabin feels luxurious yet understated. The Fjord Blue interior with backlit panels creates a calm, high-end atmosphere. Google built-in is convenient, though it can lag at times. The Harman Kardon sound system is crisp and full, and the panoramic glass roof makes the cabin feel bright and open. For now, I charge at Tesla Superchargers for convenience. A charger was actually installed in my high-rise the day after I bought the car, but it’s not operable yet. I’m looking forward to using it once it’s active. The range has been consistent in real-world use, and I appreciate Volvo’s focus on sustainability without sacrificing comfort or performance. If I had to nitpick, I’d say some software features could be more refined, and visibility through the rear window is limited, but the 360° camera helps a lot. I installed a digital rearview mirror through the Volvo dealer where I purchased my car. Overall, the C40 Recharge feels like a personal luxury cocoon. It’s quiet, confident, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a car that makes me look forward to driving every day.
